This was OTT (possible spoilers) and a hot mess.
h was a maid who sneaked into the ball. Her fated mate was the prince. They shagged and h ghosted him. He looked for her for over a year, then he had to marry OW.

Two years later h has a sick kid. She shows up at H’s palace because she needs help with the kid. (The kid is very weird. She’s supposed to be 2 but it seems like she’s 12) I never understood the story with the kid

H immediately wants h and tells OW he’ll stay married to her for 1 more year then he wants a divorce 😂 because h will now be his wife

Literally everybody is like 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱wtf?

I was rolling at this point with laughter. H doesn’t GAF what anybody thinks because he’s all in with h. He’s fighting with everybody and political nonsense starts.

Anybody with sense could pick out the bad guy in this story.

There’s a tiny bit where OW tries to claim she’s pregnant by H but anybody reading this knows that man is only dedicated to h.

Ridiculous

I LOVED IT!

I loved this book. The authors has a really easy writing style I enjoyed so much. The characters were easy to fall in in love with, although some of them you'll love to hate. Emma's character is beautiful and kind but she is a spitfire and a bit of a smarta**. Lol. She's all alone, her parents are dead so she becomes a servant for the Luna. Sorren is an Alpha from another pack and they meet under unusual circumstances. For Sorren it's love at first sight, I think Emma feels the same way but she's too worried about her secret being discovered that she can't relax. Sorren is a strong leader and his parents the King and Queen are anxious for him to marry the daughter of an alpha from another pack because their pack is in need of funds. Sorren refuses because he's in love with Emma and he knows she's his mate but he has to find her first. The love that Sorren feels for Emma is so strong and he shows her constantly how much he loves her. Little Bella is total cuteness overload and as the story goes on she gets even cuter. There's not alot of action in this book but there's alittle suspense and at times it's so heartwarming I could stop smiling. I Highly Recommend this Book to Everyone.

This book has a lot of potential, but I feel like it needs to be tightened up quite a bit. There are so many things that are just too much or don't really make sense to me. Luckily, the only issues are with the story and writing, so this already has a lot more going for it that so many other shifter books that I have read.

From what I saw, there were no big technical issues in this book. No random extra or missing punctuation, no weird formatting, etc. That was a breath of fresh air, as this seems to be a horrible recurring thing in shifter books. It's probably because the authors just throw a book out there without an editor and without even a proofread.

So, here are the big issues I have had with this book. They had a ONS, and then he's all in. They barely talked, and suddenly she's all he wants. And yet, he got married but didn't sleep with his wife because he's hung up on his ONS.
Plus, Sorren was way too OTT for me. It was just crazy. The way he treated his parents and anyone else who had something to say about Emma. He came across as more petulant spoiled brat more than a leader.

Then, there is the tea. Emma knew there would be problems and digs at her, and yet she fell for Violet's BS right off the bat. Seriously, come on. She knew it was coming, and then still believed it anyway?
The ball was the same thing. The pregnancy announcement setting her off was dumb, too. Again, she knew what Violet was like and just immediately believed her. I guess she just doesn't trust Sorren.

I have to admit, it didn't sit well with me that they were sleeping together while he was still married. She was going to take it slow, but then jumped into bed with him after a single day. I was hoping she would hold out longer at least, if not wait for his divorce. It felt off, and I didn't like it.
On that note, why was Sorren so mad about Violet sleeping with Jack? He told her she could sleep with others since he wouldn't sleep with her, but then he changed his mind? He's been sleeping with Emma. I get not liking the lies, but really, she was just doing what he said she could (even though apparently it was already going on the whole time). I get that he was mad about her trying to pass off the baby as his, but the fact that she slept with Jack should have been a non-issue.

The dialog and reactions came across as pretty young. Violet and her friends had the whole high school mean girls vibe going on. Then there were his parents. Despite being the King and Queen, they just let him say and do whatever he wanted? I guess that supports the whole spoiled brat aspect of his personality, but that just points to how bad (and useless) of a King his father was, if he was just going to let him do whatever he wanted.

I will not read this again. Masochist that I am, though, I am still going to keep going through this "collection" of shifter books. This one is a 2.5, rounded down to 2 stars.

Starting off similar to a Cinderella story, Emma goes to a ball where she falls in love with Mr. Right who can't know who she is so leaves before Sorren, the Alpha Prince is able to find out her identity. That doesn't stop him from looking for her, even after he is forced into a political marriage. Emma, however, has spent the time apart working and caring for her daughter. Finally able to get her daughter a medical evaluation she desperately needs, Emma realizes she has to get help from Sorren or she will lose their daughter. Together, they fight give their daughter a safe, happy home, and fight the forces that are trying desperately to keep them apart.

Vera Fae's and Via Thorn's book Secret Baby for the Wolf Prince is a well written story, with characters that draw the readers in right from the beginning. The storyline flows seemlessly, and with the great grammar, it gives the book an easy reading feeling. Most readers would find this a perfect book for a weekend getaway or snuggling up on a couch and getting lost for a weekend.

Love hate relationship with this one.

Where do i start? I found it enjoyable but at times it was so immature. Or just lacking. The Prince seemed to have no insight about his behaviour. It just left me shaking my head that he was so oblivious to the immaturity of his "I'm Alpha and you'll do what I say!" Even to his parents. Yes, the King and Queen. So rude to them without the reader ever knowing why. Unless being asked to wed someone he didn't love because their pack was financially in dire straits. Which is what happens in Royal families. They do marry to forge ties with other royals. Acting like a child because you don't want to marry someone you don't love, doesn't endear you to readers.
We want you to marry for love. But be mature about it.
And the rest of the pack, were they so fickle they could completely flip from loving to hating and vice versa in a heartbeat?

Secret Baby for the Wolf Prince

She was the personal servant for the Luna Grace, a Royal. The Luna became ill and was unable to attend the Summer Solstice so wanting to know the feeling she stole her Luna's ticket and attended. She met the Wolf Prince there and had an instant attraction, sex and became pregnant from their one night. The child has trouble with her wolf so Emma takes Bella to Sorenson for help. He's been looking for Emma for two years and is ecstatic to see her. He has mad a political marriage (in name only) and his wife Violet and his Beta Jack are not happy that Emma and Bella are there. Things progress, things happen, in the end Violet tries to trap Sorenson with a pregnancy. The baby is Jack's. Jack and Violet are exiled, Emma becomes Luna then Queen even with a Savage Wolf. Great story, thoroughly enjoyed this tale.
