Wholesome and adventurous
This was such a fun and meaningful read. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I ended up really liking how the story mixes fantasy with real life stuff like school and bullies. It’s not just some random adventure—there’s actually a great message about courage and standing up for yourself.
The artwork is colorful and pulls you into the story (even if a few of the pictures felt a bit reused). Still, it doesn’t take away from how cool the scenes look—there’s dragons, a floating city, and even a creepy shadow king!
My kid was totally into it and even asked if there’s going to be another one. Definitely worth it for any kid who loves magic and comic-style stories with heart.

He ends on a magical journey into the Mystical Realm of Alfrin. The book explores themes of bullying, bravery, and self-discovery. It doesn’t shy from providing life lessons wrapped in a fun, comic-style format (dialogue bubbles, that sort of thing).
Though some illustrations are repetitive, the compelling story more than makes up for it. Great read for older kids (10+).

High Quality Kid's Fantasy
If the cover grabbed your attention, there's much more within. Looking like modern animation films, each panel is a well-selected digital piece with great detail and shading. There's a vibe of family and friends throughout both the mystical realm and real life. Storytelling is a top-notch intro to the genre, easy to read, easy to follow, fun, and intriguing. What makes this story different is the depth of characters, the true-to-life problems, the clear allegories, and the launching into a greater series. Looking forward to the next one!

Visually appealing
A comic-style story about a courageous boy named Tommy. I loved some of the characters and imagery. The parallel plots that exist between a magical realm and the ordinary challenges that are met in Tommy’s real life are an interesting contrast that intertwine with one another.
It was a little complex in parts, would improve with a different font but still fun to read. All in all, if you're looking for a magical, adventurous bedtime story, then this would suit 9+

Great Story about Bullying and Standing up
I think this is the beginning of a great story about standing up to bullying. The artwork seems to be AI, but it’s great, so why not. The dialogues seem to me sometimes not perfectly adjusted with kid level language. The reason that also made me subtract a star was that some of the pictures are too scary for the age range in my opinion.

My son loved it and can’t wait for part 2.
I like this book. Had a comic book feel. I read it aloud to my 5 year old son, and he was completely engaged from start to finish. He especially enjoyed the characters, the colorful pictures, and kept asking me to read certain parts again. I enjoyed the storyline as well. It’s a fun and heartwarming read for young kids.

Cool Comic
This is a well laid out Comic about bullying. It is dynamic and emotional. It is really well laid out. I didnt love the repeated use of the same AI images zoomed in or out but the overall story and layout made this a minor detail.

great story
Great story idea that kids six and up will really enjoy. There definitely could be some work done in the editing. Lots of mistakes which is a shame because despite that this is still totally worth purchasing. With perfect editing this book would be amazing.
