Its the Kraken Charlie Brown!

I love that word Kraken. Even when I read it.I hear it with a pirates accent. But I digress. Some one.is.killing Kraken.fans and.Allie is on the case. They have also found her Mothers bones. She is following both cases and the family friend Sadie is looking more and more guilty for her Moms death. They eventually found the Kracken killer too. But.I had a hard time getting through that case because I thought it was boring. I wanted to.know more about Sadie and her Mother but that is coming. Next year of course. Just have to.wait

Her Mother's Bones is the seventh book in the Allie Bishop FBI Mystery Thrillers by Eva Sparks - and again, with this series I was plunged into a gripping blend of psychological suspense, high-stakes investigation, and emotional undercurrents.
Across the series, we follow Allie Bishop, a sharp, determined FBI agent whose intelligence is matched only by her resilience. Each book delivers a self-contained mystery whilst weaving in an overarching storyline that deepens Allie’s personal journey.
Ms. Sparks excels at layering clues, along with a few red herrings, ensuring that the final reveals are both surprising and satisfying.
The cases are dark and often chilling, but the human connections - between Allie and her colleagues, her adversaries, and even herself - gives the stories heart. The writing is vivid, making it easy to visualize the action, yet still intimate enough to pull you into Allie’s inner world.
This is perfect for fans of fast-paced thrillers who also appreciate character-driven storytelling.
Happy Reading…

I jumped right into this book the next day after finishing book 6. I was excited to have the overall story continue with more about the story of her mother and what really happened. I did think that the way Allie handled the confirmation of her mother's murder seemed a bit out of charactor and not talking to Grams about it the whole book grated on my nerves a bit. I did enjoy the good news and additional charactor development of Jason and Victoria. I was able to wrap this one up before midnight on New Years Eve so it counted as my final book for 2025

Her Mother's Bones(Allie Bishop FBI Mystery Thriller Book 7)

OMG!!!!!!!! This book was amazing, sad, confusing, and kind of scary. First they find the bones of Allie's mom, then she gets a case in Seattle, someone is hunting and killing Kraken fans in very gruesome ways. So she is trying to process that her mothe is dead and has been for18 years, and she also has to find a serial killer. It just get crazier from there. I can't wait to read the next book.

A good one

I have enjoyed both of Eva Sparks‘ series but I do like Allie more than Darcy. She seems more real, more grounded in actual life than does Darcy who is portrayed more superhero like. Still, both series are well written and well edited. This go round, we learn a bit more about Allie‘s past and how it will tie to how she will move forward. Worth the read.

Really good as usual

I've really come to like Eva Sparks books. Its a story with drama,, familiar characters and ends with unanswered questions. I like the suspense from the.cases the agents get into. And of course, there's a side mystery that Allie is involved with. The next book should answer the questions.

Disappointed

This book was so unlike the others in this series. It just dragged on, page after page. And the ending was lame. We learn nothing more about Allie's mother's death, about Sadie, about Ethan's sister. Just a total yawn.

Really like the Allie Bishop Mystery Thriller. Now I just have to see the end of the story in the next book, number 8. The Widow's Ledger. Not to long to wait, November 30, 2026. Eva Sparks writes a great story.

Her Mothers Bones

Eva Sparks outdid herself on this book. I could literally feel Allie's pain. The plot as always was gripping, with fascinating twists and turns. I couldn't put it down.

Full of action!

Great Agent Bishop book. Had lots of action, as hockey fans were murdered in gruesome ways. But the most interesting part of the story is what appears to be coming to a head with Sadie's involvement with Allie's past. You will enjoy this one!

Intricate

You see the clues. You think you know where the clues come from. You see what happens. Now it's time to put all the pieces together to find the answer.

Go Allie go!

I'm proud of her and know that she has the right support if she chooses to let herself use them.

One of my favorite series! It’s hard to get in 7-8 books deep and keep them interesting and moving along. But the Allie Bishop series manages to do just that. Can’t wait for the next book!
