Everyone in my family was falling in love. Not me, though. It's not that I didn't want anyone. I just hadn't been looking. Then in walked Lucy Rivera to the reception hall at my cousin’s wedding, crowding the s’mores bar next to me. I don’t know how toasted marshmallows and melted chocolate changed everything, but it did. The one night stand turned into late night phone calls, which turned into impromptu visits. Now, I'm making up holidays and special occasions just to see her. Left Hander’s Day? No one actually celebrates that. But we did.
Milo and Lucy's story! I have been waiting for us to get to Milo and it did not disappoint! I loved how they played off one another and that Lucy is outspoken enough to know what she wants and takes it. Them getting to "date" each other, playing off fun holidays, and making it official on a holiday that played on the one they first started - it is definitely in my top 3 of the Lovestruck Calendar series.
Spice: 3/5 Rating: 4.3/5
Thanks to the author for allowing me to read this book prior to its release.

S'more Than Friends is book eight of the Lovestruck Calendar Series.
We finally get to see Milo fall in love. We have been seeing his family finding their loved ones, but now we get to experience this with him. And it looks like his family is behind the matchmaking as he reunites with someone from his past, who just so happens to be seated next to him at a wedding.
These two have a lot of spicy moments and we get to see a bond form through some sweet and spicy scenes. Super cute read!
This is the August story in the Lovestruck Calendar series.
This was a short sweet love story with a little spice added in. It is full of sweet gestures and surprises as the main characters start to build their relationship and fall in love.
You will love reading these sweet short stories and getting to know this lovely family as they grow and find love in each new story.
This one absolutely wasn’t bad, but it isn’t my favorite out of the Lovestruck series. It just didn’t give me the “awwww” factor that the others have. I felt like the spice wasn’t super high, more was implied and that was okay. Characters are good, but their story could be a little bit stronger. It just felt very young to me.
This was a really good and short but sweet read. I love that they bonded and got close through a s'mores bar. I also love all the little holidays that they spent together, especially the thrift store one. This was a really good read.
Who doesn’t love a little short love story with a little bit of spice?? This is a cute fast pace spicy romance with a happy ending as always. They initially bond over a s’mores bar which is adorable, then proceed to spend little random holiday’s together which I also think was absolutely adorable.
I adored this short story. Milo is at a wedding and in walks Lucy. He is immediately smitten. This is the August book of the calendar series. This was a fun read and such a palate cleanser after reading lots of dark romance.
Another entry into the Lovestruck Calendar, this time with Milo Martinez it starts at a wedding of one of our past month's couples which was fun. If you love making everyday a holiday this fast paced light hearted story is for you.
This was a good quick read. Wedding. Hookup. Turns into more.
Fav quote because it’s very relatable. “I’d love nothing more than to get you naked,” I murmured against her lips, “but let me feed you first. I know how cranky you get when you're hungry.”
This novella was the perfect summer fast read to bring joy to my busy weekend. The idea of celebrating all those fun special holidays was so much fun & Milo was the perfect book-boyfriend
THIS BOOK IS SO ADORABLE. I ate it up and finished it in one sitting. Milo and Lucy are so swoon worthy. This series continues to be so solid and enjoyable. I really liked it. I definitely recommend this book and the series. Can't wait for the next one.
Starting at a wedding (Angelica & Miguel from Forgetting February) with a s’more bar, S’more Than friends delivers Milo and Lucy’s story. The August entry in the Lovestruck Calendar Short Story series is steamier and lighter hearted than some of its counterparts. I love the use of the unusual holidays in the plot since they bring a frivolity and whimsical feel to the tale. ❤️ These stories that comprise the Lovestruck Calendar series are interconnected short stories that can be read as standalones but since they ARE short stories, I would recommend reading them in calendar order.
These books are just to cute, I absolutely eat them up! They are super short and sweet but give you a decent amount of the story! Milo & Lucy are just to cute together their banter is adorable, and the fact that he picks random holidays to see her is so super cute! The fact that his family picks on him makes the book feel so down home, cause we all know how that goes with the siblings and the teasing! I love this and cant wait to read Septembers book! I love the idea of having a book a month, I am gonna be so sad when the December one comes :(
Milo and Lucy are so cute together. And a s'mores bar is such a good idea! Milo's date at the thrift shop was so fun to read. Its Natational Pick Up A Book Day and this should be your first pick! IYKYK *wink* Here's my favorite quote: I forgot how to breathe for a second. If she kept making noises like that, I’d be a gonner for sure. “D**n, Lucy. You shouldn’t tease a man like that,” I warned. “Who says I’m teasing?” She leaned in, eyes sparkling.
I just eat these novellas up everyone month! Milo wasn’t looking for anyone until he feel in love with Lucy! The holidays he makes up to see her..ugh swoon!
