A collection of poetry that tells the story of a woman who—through betrayal, pain, abuse, and the harshness of a patriarchal world—sinks her feet into the ground and shines out an unrelenting “I am here” on every page. Raw and bloody, and necessary. Such a good read!

These poems are raw, brutal, and courageous. I enjoyed the author’s exploration of her grief and anger through various poetic means, adding to her versatility as a storyteller.
