Pledged To Him #2

Pledged To Him 2: An Unconventional Romance

Rate this book
When Jackson Avery agreed to spend a semester at Stillwell University finishing the degree that tragedy forced him to abandon fifteen years ago, love was the last thing on his mind. Spending a night with Samantha, the queen of the campus's most exclusive sorority, DEFINITELY wasn't part of the plan.

But when Samantha disappears after their night of passion, Jack is thrust into the heart of Delta Rho's intricate web of campus intrigue. Juggling the affections of the college's most eligible bachelorettes is new territory for a man who spent fifteen years burying his trauma with work instead of finding love, but the girls of Delta Rho know just how to get Jack out of his shell.

You're only supposed to get one crack at college. But Jackson Avery is about to have the best semester ever.

Wax On, Wax Off Pledge

In this second installment of the Pledged To Him series, the stakes are a little less dire. And yet we continue with the Why so serious tone… I like it. While I’m not a hopelessly devoted fan of Neil Bimbeau, having only read the Princess Tamer: A LitRPG Harem Adventure series before reading Pledged To Him 2: An Unconventional Romance (His Sorority Harem Book Two). The guy knows how to make a great ‘climactic’ scene. SPOILER between Maria and Kiki. But there’s always the whisper of something bad coming. But not this series. As I mentioned about the first one, it is a bit darker, which some may prefer. This one had a different flavor. If my boys were readers…

A well written and engaging story with believable and interesting characters. The story follows Jackson Avery as he returns to complete his final college semester to obtain his degree after 15 years working of a top engineering firm so that he can become the firm's next CEO. His adventures follow where the first book end. The story contains a balance of erotic play, character building, and development of Jack's growing relationships. I immediately started reading book three as soon as I completed book 2.

Good Storyline

Good continuation from book 1. The characters are well constructed with interesting personalities. The background of a college town where the MC is going back to school to finish his degree gives the author lots of room to build his story. Being mature is attractive to a lot of the young college girls. An enjoyable read.

good story, realistic and good characters

Only complaint, they are short, bought several of this author’s books and this seems to be a pattern. That said, the characters and storyline are very good, but every time I start to get into it, the story ends, other than that, loved it all.

Great read

The exploration of boundaries between adults is very nicely handled by the author. The ongoing story in the series is excellent and I am really looking forward to what the author does to continue evolving the relationships between the characters. Bring on Book 3!

A Fun Read!

This one had such a good build up till that ending! I loved the duo interaction and Jack being almost more a father figure. Overall, I loved this and can’t wait for more!

No 1, But 2! Do make you Happier!

Hard being a 41 year old student, but when Sorority girls want you and a super sexy Realtor too, choices can be 'hard'. Then 1 want him and invites another for fun too...

Princess of the ball

A very nice second edition. The story flows effortlessly and makes you want to consume it all at once. As Jack plows through the field, I am glad to go along on the ride.

It takes two to tango

What a great follow up to book one. Helping the pledged grow is job any one can try to help others Dan do. Jack works hard to help the needy.

Good Story

Good continuity from the first book.
While a bit fast paced, it was a good read.
Looking forward to the next book.

I start my ratings at 3 stars. Part of the omnibus purchase. I'm copying the same review to the first 3 books, so don't expect any specifics -- for my reviews that generally means good things because I tend to harp on negatives (sorry authors).

These are novellas at best at 100 pages or less each.

For what this book is, I'm actually inclined to up the rating. It reads well, and I suppose I could believe in the cascade of events (if you give a big wink and just assume it's an adult book). Can I buy the situation? well, no, but I don't ever really buy these situations - but since this is real life, strangely, it's almost more believable then some of the fantasy harem junk I've seen/read.

Anyway, it's a good start as these things go. I breezed through it and all the way to book 4 in one evening while I kept the dog from freaking out about fireworks.

And the harem begins, let's go, and let's continue the adventure in the next book, let's go on and keep on reading.

People who don't read generally ask me why I read. Simply put, I love reading, so I have made it my motto to Forever Keep on Reading. I love reading everything except for self-help books, even occasionally. I read almost all the genres, but YA, Fantasy, and Biographies are the most read. My favorite series is Harry Potter, but then there are many more books I adore. I have bookcases filled with books that are waiting to be read, so I can't stay and spend more time on this review. Remember, I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and then just Keep on Reading.
