I began my writing back in 2007. Back then, I had started with fanfiction. Though, in that same year, I had stopped shortly after the first chapter. It wasn't until 2012 that I picked it back up. If I had let it go, I would not have found my love of writing. Now I want to explore new genres and write stories that readers will love.

This short story is written in first person from the protagonist's point of view, whose life changes radically after being bitten by a werewolf. I enjoyed the author's relaxed writing style, it reminded me a little of The Invisible Man, as Jake realises he is changing but does everything in his power to avoid becoming a stereotypical monster. There are some cliches, which the author points out himself and makes fun of, adding a light touch to the narrative. The story could have been developed more in certain parts but it was an interesting short read and I look forward to reading more by this author.
