(Every book in the Pulse series is a stand alone read, however you may bump into some familiar faces!)
What happens when a snarky doctor and a physical therapist who’s had her heart broken clash. Emily had a serious car accident after recovering the next phase was pt on her shoulder. Bette a stickler for protocol clashed immediately when Emily couldn’t even show up on time for her pt appointment.
Something drawls Emily to Bette while Bette is too busy protecting herself from any feelings. Bette’s ex cheated on her with the next door neighbor. Ouch.
With a meddling friend and meddling cousin will these two get together.
The characters were well developed so much so wanted to ask Emily’s best friend Tessa what she was thinking.
It seems like Grace is cutting her stories short. I started this at 4:30P.M. today and it's 8:44P.M. and that is taking time out to make my wife her lunch for work and talking to my sister on the phone for an hour. The quality isn't there on the first two books of this series. The main characters Dr. Sharp and Dr. Bridge kept bumping into each other around a corner. For this to happen three times in a story this short is a little ridiculous, it's like she is just throwing a story together. I gave her 4 stars because I have loved the stories in the past, otherwise I would give this a 2.
The story is relatable but doesn’t have quite enough substance. I like a stronger storyline, however the characters are believable & relatable. Just a nice quiet read. I dislike the diminished sex scenes though.
So attractions flares but past hurts and failures stand in the way of happiness until suddenly they don’t and they finally sort themselves out Really enjoyed this book ready for the next one🌹🌈
Emily and Bette were wonderful main characters. I really enjoyed their back and forth as they each tried to keep their walls up. I really enjoyed the supporting characters of Jamie and Tessa.
