Trouble always seemed to be lurking when everyone just wanted to do right. Ava took being scorned to all new heights when she would've done better keeping her feelings to herself. She put herself out there and as crazy as it may seem she got part of what she wanted. Cool was crazy and I didn't like him at all. He didn't care about the warfare of others as long as his selfish ass got what he wanted. Kim was cool but I never expected her secret. She was too good to Cool and it was long overdue for her to let go of their situation. I really liked both Desmond and Romeo. Desmond needed to put Dana in her place because she was doing way too much. Romeo finally met his match in Shayla! Things were new for both Romeo and Shayla but I appreciated the fact they gave each other a chance. I'm ready to continue with part 2 because there's no telling how things will go for those responsible for the hurt they dished out.

I love reading a good book that has your attention all the way thru I couldn't get enough of this story Dana is nut's she can't stand rejection if I could tell this whole story I would but I do recommend all readers to read this series if you haven't already I'm ready for Flawless 2 the drama gets better & better

Kimberlyn and Cool have been together for a good minute and he’s locked up but not trying to change so Kim decides she’s over the messy relationship. Shayla has gone through a breakup a couples months agor and runs into Romeo. The two friends end up bumping into Romeo and Desmonde at the club and come to find out Kim used to deal with Desmond before she met Cool. The two rekindle their flame that night, the next morning Desmonds annoying baby mother pops up and Romeo takes Shayla out to get a car. From there the story just goes down because within under two months Romeo figures he’s ready to give Shayla his all and Cool is already out of jail causing chaos. I can go without reading the next one because there was no connection with either couple and their illegal business was a waste of time.

Kimberlyn was so bougie then petty. That damn Cool...a mess! Ladies we have to do more than be fascinated with some money, good looks, and slick talking...good googly moogly. Maybe that's why I had been single for so damn long. I refuse honey!

So, wow things in here definitely escalated rather quickly! Gez, Ava didn't expect that from her at all! Never thought she would turn like that but ah Dez didn't have to do her like that either. I'm here on the edge of my seat legit ready for book 2 now! One thing I didn't like character wise of course because Jade's writing style is always so relatable, intriguing and I love the music aspect as well in her books (minus a few errors) - I just didn't like the way Romeo was such a dog with Shayla like come on. Anyway when you take people for granted things happen like what happened at the end. On to book 2 ✨

Good read entertaining from beginning to end. Liked shayla and Kimberlyn but they needed to learn to choose better men. Dana is a straight up crazy bitch and Nina wasn't a friend to anyone. Romeo needed to grow up and learn how to treat a real woman and Desmond was a good guy but had a crazy BM to deal with. Ava needs her ass whooped for what she did and Cool was a fool that was looking for an easy come up. Can't wait to continue this series to see what happens.

Wow! This book kept me completely engaged and on edge. The drama, character development, deceit, lies the list goes on. Both MMC & FMC are infuriating with the decisions they make that eventually put them in their current situation. I just hope things work out for them all because I grew to love them all. That babymomma is a complete basket case and so is Ava. That cool need to hurry up and get his. 10/10 for me

I really got into this book I couldn't stop until I finished it i could undetstand why kimberlyn didn't tell Desmond the truth how do u tell someone that they have a child they never knew about? I think that shayla is just what romeo needs to tame his ways I hope he rescues her before something happens to her.

Awesome read
I loved this story can't wait to read part 2. Cool needs to disappear... PERMANENTLY and Ava can get it too, hopefully Dana gets sucked in the quicksand with both of them. Romeo needs to grow up and grow up FAST. Damn Desmond can't catch a break for sh*t, just gettin' hit from all angles. Bring on book TWO 💕

Good read
I thought I wouldn't like this book due to the title. It was definite a page turner. I read it so quick that I had to start number 2 right away. I'm not sure how many more books to the series but 1 & 2 are definitely good reads.

This urban fiction story is ok. I think the characters could have been developed more along with the plot. I listened on Audible and the reader seems new to narration: lots of unneeded spaces throughout the book.

I enjoyed the book. Ava & Cool are trifling. Ava is scorned because Desmond doesn’t love her. Cool is hurt because his son belongs to Desmond. I can understand being hurt but Cool was risking Kim’s freedom. I can’t wait to finish reading this series to find out what happens.

Desmond and Romeo have been friends since the sandbox, and they are like brothers. Both guys are from the West Coat that moved to Atlanta on "business, " so to speak. They have a third party Ava, that's secretly in love with Desmond, that make up the main crew.
Ava is the chemist, that was homeless when Romeo and Desmond met her, and together they formed a concoction of marijana that was very strong, that sold like hotcakes, giving them a lavish lifestyle.
Shayla is a quiet, timid, modest, young lady, that sticks to herself, that have trust issues with men, due to her ex Dexter, being a playboy. Kimberlyn, is more of the outgoing one, that loves to party, but she's in a complicated situation with Cool, that's currently incarcerated, and she's trying her best go move on with her life.The girls are the best of friends, and together is where they spend most of their time.
The boys are used to the groupies, and having relations with numerous amount of different women, until meeting the girls. Desmond already had met Kimberlyn formerly 5 years ago, and Shayla met Romeo while working at her job, when he purchased a bed in Ikea.
The girls put the boys on the back burner, until they wrap up loose ends with their ex's, until one night they ran into the boys one in the club. Kimberlyn and Desmond tried to rekindle what they once had, but Desmond's baby's mother, Dana couldn't let go of Desmond. Romeo and Shayla had a short romance, but his playboy ways kept getting in the way. Both relationships played a cat and mouse game that ended in the ultimate betrayal.
