Pretty Wicked, a stand-alone novella is the story of Sky Johnson aka Lexi. In high school she had a crush on senior heartthrob and jock Miko Barokas until he hurt her deeply and irrevocably.
Fast forward 7 years, Sky has reinvented herself. She now goes by the name Lexi and has moved across the pond to London. This is a sexy and fun standalone novella. Sky Johnson, now Lexi, was an ugly, overweight, brunette with braces seven years ago. She had a crush on her high school's "it" guy, Miko. An incident left Sky devastated and heartbroken leading her to change everything about herself. Sky became Lexi -- a sexy, curvy blonde.
Miko Barokas changed as well after the incident with Sky seven years ago. Miko used to be a cocky, selfish rich boy; today he is a respected businessman involved with philanthropy with important causes. Milo's never forgotten Sky, although, she disappeared from his world following the incident.
Now, Miko is back in Sky's life and he's looking to devour her, as Lexi. Sky plans to have her vengeance, but will Sky's heart get in the way?

This was a beautiful story with lots of steam just what I've come to expect from Ms. Le Carre!! You won't be disappointed picking this sexy read up.

DNF at 26%
I thought I was safe from those idiot heroines out there, I was clearly wrong.This was just a random find so I blame myself entirely for reading something stupid.
Let me tell ya a story.
Once upon a time, there's this girl who thinks she was in love to a very handsome boy because God forbid if the girl liked a normal looking boy. No, of course not. She should be in love with the hottest and the most unattainable guy in their place.
Before I forget, this girl is in a stage where all girls are insecure of their looks. She has a big nose, wears glasses and has braces.
In case you don't see my point, this girl thinks she looks horrible and she's nervous as hell that the boy she's in love with was bringing her to a party.
Short story made shorter, when they are at the party, some bitches approached her when the boy was getting her a drink. They asked her her name because they want to know who the winner will be for the "Queen Freak plus insinuating that she should give them her name if she wants her escort to win.Like all sappy woe-is-me stories, she realized that the boy she loves took her to the party to humiliate her and to win some lame ass contest.
Fast forward.
Seven years later, she changed her name, she is now sexy and she had some surgery to make her big nose straight and cute, she changed her address, she's annoyingly insecure as fuck and this book made me want to vomit I have to stop reading.
Look, if a teenage boy humiliates you, you don't go spending 7 fucking years to change your name, go to another country, become addicted to surgeries in order to become beautiful.
I mean it's just a boy, dumbass. No matter how much he broke your heart, you don't do all those ridiculous things.
REALLY,THAT IS JUST PLAIN STUPID.
I was really offended. I feel like this author is telling us that if the boy you had a crush with humiliates you, you should have some surgeries to cover up your flaws and moved to another continent.
Here's a fact.
You are beautiful. Even if you have a big nose, bushy eyebrows, wide lips, has squirrel cheeks and doesn't have the figure of an hourglass, YOU ARE FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.You don't have to change a damn thing in your body for thinking that only perfect looking people can only have a happily ever after. That is not true. You don't have to be perfect to find someone who would love you and you sure as hell don't change anything just because of a man.
And if anyone says otherwise, you can tell them to fuck off.

This was a lovely short sexy story!
This is the story of Sky Johnson, an ugly duckling who became a beautiful swan.
Today blonde hair, green eyes, full lips, curvy but elegant, she's sexy and attracts the attention of every man...Before with dark hair, metal braces in her teeth, glasses, big nose and fat. Sky had no friends only her books and had a crush, he is the rich gorgeous sexiest boy of her high school Miko.
Miko Barokas Today a sexy businessman and philanthropist involved in important causes. Jet-black eyes, dark hair and skin. Before a spoiled rich teen, who had girls swooning on his feet and drived expensive cars.
7 years ago when still in high school Miko asks Sky to come with him at a party...only than to give her the most painful and humiliating experience of her life. Something that will leave her with a big trauma and issues in regard to her self esteem and physical aspect.
7 years after Sky has changed everything in her life, she moved to UK to live with her aunt, changed her name and her physical aspect. Now she's Lexy, a bombshell.
Soon they cross their paths again and is there where their beautiful love story will begin.
I want to say, I was very pleased with the turn of events, I kinda hopped that he would say "THAT" by the end...I knew Miko had depth as character even when he was a teen.
Totally loved and enjoyed this short story, beautifully written and with two interesting characters. I so enjoyed it that I would have loved for their story to last more pages or an other book...maybe Georgia could give a second book about them ;)

Unfortunately that was the highlight of this book for me. Awkward, shy girl meets hot as hell, egotistical high school boy. Boy invites girl out for the sole purpose of winning a cruel contest, girl finds out too late and is never seen again. Fast forward seven years and Sky, now going as Lexi, has completely altered herself thanks to a good number of plastic surgeries and some hair dye. She’s tried to put the past behind her but has failed miserably in that regard. Guess who she runs into, literally, at a coffee shop? Surprise! It’s Miko looking hotter than ever. Oh, as a side note he’s also the new owner of the company she works for. And he wants her in the worst way. Finally she has a shot at revenge!
This story actually could have worked for me if not for a few issues. First and foremost, I didn’t really like Sky/Lexi. I felt we were given only the revenge, I love him yet I hate him aspect of her personality and I didn’t like it. The author did her best to show us Miko had changed and he was no longer the juvenile ass clown that pulled that hateful prank as a teenager, but I found myself bored with both of them as well as their story. The sexual tension was written well enough but it wasn’t enough to make me like this book.

Unfortunately nothing special at all. As awkward as its heroine the book, left me unsatisfied, wanting more plot and depth, we hardly get to know the main characters and the ending is very abrupt.
I always like the stories involving a second chance or someone trying to get the proverbial revenge, but instead falling deeply in love. This book fell short in both of those terms for me.
Lexi A.K.A. Sky, is a very insecure person, i'm not even sure i sympathized with her at all with the only exception being the party they went together as teenagers, yes what he did was awful and surely very hurtful but still, i found her overdramatic.
Miko on the other hand, was arrogant, narcisistic blah,blah,blah all those bad things, but he tried to protect her, didn't he? So i can not hate him for that.
The whole story was a little weird, fractured and not well formed but the antiwar message was an interesting touch.
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
- Nigel was cold.
- I liked a lot the way he told her finally the truth.
- I found many errors. So it needs some edditing.
- The writing was emotionally bereft.
- I liked also the scene on the coffee shop.
- The second party was weird!!!

5 stars It's Georgia book so of course i loved it
Well Pretty Wicked it' s my 100 book this year and i wanted to be Georgia Le Carre book because she my favorite author of all time.I absolutely loved this novella,writing style of Georgia is amazing,loved Miko and Sky relationship and there scenes are so HOT.
The Plot
Sky Johnson is in highschool and have a crush on highschool popular guy Miko Barokas,one day Miko ask her to go with him to a party she is beyond excited and she accepted.That night Miko hurt her deeply and humiliate. After 7 years Sky is other person,she is now Lexi and complete different from her high school years.One day in coffee shop she meet once again with Miko,to make things worst he now owns the company she works for .Miko not recognize Sky and he is attracted to her so Lexi plan her revenge .But what happen when love and old feelings mix in that plan?

When I start a romance by Georgia Le Carre, I know that she isn’t going to give me rainbows and butterflies. She’s gonna give me a love story that has layers. Those layers are sometimes painful as they are beautiful. I adore how she seamlessly goes from angst to beauty and back again. But most of all I adore her heroes. They are flawed but yet they are amazingly real in their brokenness. I always find myself forgiving her heroes in ways I normally can’t. Probably because they always fall so hard.
What we have in this short sexy romance is a story of redemption and love that is discovered looking under the first layer of skin. Miko has come to claim what he lost and Sky never stands a chance. Although she is now hiding under this pretty polished new exterior, Miko knows the real woman underneath and he’s not out for the beautiful shell that she is showing off, no Miko wants the shining star that Sky was back on that broken day in high school. Passions run high and feelings can’t be denied.
Finding the true person inside and pulling down all the walls that are put up by society’s view on what is lovely. It was steamy and it had a suspenseful under current that added to the sexy vibe. I read this in one setting and immediately wanted more. Georgia until you bring me more, thank you for a sexy romantic read.

What started as the best day ever turned into the worst when Sky found out that Miko only asked her to win a contest. Now Seven years, and many cosmetic changes Lexi is not the girl she was.
And then Miko runs into her, shocked Lexi acts as if she does know him and with the new appearance Miko has no clue she used to be Sky. Shocked and mad Lexi makes a plan to seek revenge but after spending time with Miko Lexi realizes that her plan has flaws, and what started as revenge quickly turns into something much different and something Lexi never imagined.
I loved this book all I could think was why isn't this book longer, and how have I never read any books by this author before. Then there was the moment that turned the whole story and I didn't see it coming at all and it was so brilliantly written and made me smile like a fool. It made the book go from a 5 star to a 10 star for me. I fell in love with Sky right away and loved Lexi just the same. I wasn't sure about the surgery aspect to this book because its so sad that this really happens that people feel the need to go under the knife for wounds people have inflicted with words. But Georgia Le Carre pulled it off beautifully.
And Miko, gah I loved him even at the beginning, you can see his beliefs being changed by Sky and her becoming something more than a contest. When we see him years later even without the full story you see him as a great hero. All around this was an amazing story that I read way to quickly, I would have loved this book to have been at least two hundred more pages. I was no where near ready to leave this world that was created.

When we see him years later even without the full story you see him as a great hero. All around this was an amazing story that I read way to quickly, I would have loved this book to have been at least two hundred more pages. I was no where near ready to leave this world that was created.

Deliciously sexy and hot!!!
Falling under the category of Amazon’s new short reads, Georgia has managed to pack a lot of heat into this quick read, taking me just under an hour, I was fanning myself for the majority of it. Sky Johnson is on the surface the ugly duckling at high school, when Miko the school hunk ask her to a party, she is beyond excited, her crush on him has grown as she has admired him from afar for years, but all doesn’t go as smoothly as she’d hoped, while there were flashes of kindness and genuine fondness from him, Sky’s evening ends in utter humiliation and she flees Amercia to live with her aunt and reinvents herself with a new name and plastic surgery into Lexi Johnson, a beautiful swan. Years later when she bumps into Miko again, sexual sparks fly instantly and when she realises that he now owns the firm she works for, escape from his advances is not an option. Resolved to have her revenge, Lexi was not prepared for the surge of feelings for him she’d buried deep inside to re-emerge, nor the allure and utter sexual dominance of this devastatingly handsome man. As she succumbs to his advances, can she carry out her plan to extract her revenge, or will she end up back where she started, humiliated and alone. Definitely for the over 18’s as the steam factor is hot, hot, HOT. Don’t read in your lunch break, or you’ll have everyone thinking you had a nooner, instead of just a read!

It started out great. But once we get to seven years later, I couldn't suspend my belief to what was happening. I didn't understand this party he took her to. I didn't understand how he got to her. It felt rushed and almost like there was some magic to it when it's a straight forward contemporary story. If it wasn't for the beginning, I wouldn't give it two stars, but that part really worked for me.

It seems like the author was in some kind of hurry, you don't have time to process anything. The story is just ridiculous, Miko fell in love with Sky in two seconds of being together and just like that he decide to spend seven years looking for a VERY insecure and inmature woman (like I said RIDICULOUS). Sky is just WOW (and not in the good way) that character just let me speechless. Just one bad experience whith a boy in high school and she just change her name, change address, became addictive to surgeries (again RIDICULOUS).. I don't know perhaps the story wouldn't be that bad if the book wasn't so short or if Sky would have ask for brain surgery (you know so she could think in something different than a big nose). Let's just say that for me the book was really bad

Just loved this quick read form Georgia. Once again the storytelling shines bright,but it's not just the good read, there is some hot sex and a beautiful fulfilling story here as well. Well worth an hour of your time and a quickie to pep up your day.
Can't wait for Masquerade it looks scintillatingly hot.

A story of overcoming, learning, forgiveness, and love. This is a great quick read, with a wonderful love story filled with many emotions. Sky was scarred from her past, while Miko never forgot about the one that was true and got away. Years later when they run into each other half way across the world. Will Miko recognize the new Sky? Can Sky forgive the night that changed her life?

I've never read any of this author's books before, but tonight I got my hands on a whole bunch, so with half an hour to kill I thought I'd give this one a go. Well... as far as first impressions go, this one was piss poor. The idea of this story is okay, but the delivery was so, so, bad. I didn't like the writing - the plot moved way too quickly. The heroine was a dumb bitch, who said the stupidest shit, and was just generally annoying. The Hero was clearly insane, because what kind of fool loves a girl for seven years, when he doesn't really even know her?! Weirdo stalker. This book just didn't work for me in any way shape or form. Highly UN-recommended.

This was a short read which I liked bc it went straight to the point. If this was longer then it would have dragged on. I give credit to the author for taking a chance on a hot bottom topic both with the H and what he supported. Not a fan of the scene where the h sees the H dancing with a woman and then she goes to change into the belly dancer outfit. That was stupid. I also didn't like that the h got her beauty from numerous surgeries instead of appreciating her natural looks. Will definitely be reading this author's Billionaire Banker series.

2.5 Stars. A decent read, but so short that as a stand alone it doesn't really allow for proper character development or relationship building.
Lexi/Sky is a bit on the annoying side and the love is so instantaneous you have to stretch your belief that the "instant" connection which we're meant to take as love, would sustain a foundation set on a cruel prank and a 7 year absence.
The smexy scenes smolder, and the set up would make for a good full length story/novel, but as a novella, it doesn't quite reach its potential.

A bit too short. I failed to attach any attachment to the main characters, let alone understand the sister's role or the strange Arab party that made a political statement but had a stranger putting our lead lady in an outfit that an insecure lady would never of been coerced into putting on, let alone strolling back down to a party of strangers. Odd. I know author can do so much better as I've read others of hers. Title is misleading but damn, that cover is very hot!!!

A Very hot short story.
Just love Ms Le Carre's style, It seems she has an unique insight into human nature and knows just how to described characters and what lies behind their personalities. Her stories are deep and meaningful and not only deliver a good romance but offer wisdom too. Great read.
