ကြည်အေး (Kyi Aye) ၏ကလောင်ခွဲတစ်ခုမှာ မမိုးသူ ဖြစ်သည်။ မမိုးသူ အမည်ဖြင့် The Working Peoples Daily တွင် ဆောင်းပါးများရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ တာရာမဂ္ဂဇင်းတွင် ကဗျာအများဆုံးရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ မဂ္ဂဇင်းကြီးများတွင် ကဗျာ၊ ဝတ္ထုတို၊ ဝတ္ထုရှည်၊ ပုံပြင်၊ ဘာသာပြန်များရေးသားခဲ့သည်။

တာရာမဂ္ဂဇင်းတွင် ကဗျာများ စတင်ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ ၁၉၄၇ ခုထုတ် တာရာမဂ္ဂဇင်း အတွဲ ၁၊ အမှတ် ၄ ပါ ထိုည သည် ပထမဆုံး ပုံနှိပ်ဝတ္ထုတိုဖြစ်သည်။ အတွေးအရေး ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်ရဲတင်းမှုနှင့်အတူ ဖြစ်တည်မှုပဓာနဝါဒဆန်သော စာရေးဆရာအဖြစ် ကျော်ကြားခဲ့သည်။ နွမ်းလျအိမ်ပြန်(၁၉၆၄) ၊ မောင်။ ကိုကိုနှင့် မြနန္ဒာ (၁၉၇၃) ၊ မေတ္တာမီးအိမ် (၁၉၈၀)၊ အပြင်ကလူ (၁၉၉၆) နှင့် ကြည်အေး၏ကဗျာများ (၁၉၉၀၊ ၁၉၉၂) တို့မှာ အထူးထင်ရှားသည်။

Being an INFP myself, I could say I can relate to Ko Hnin Nwe to an extreme extent. And Aye, I do totally get her life choices (mainly career) as I have been in that place before. From my standpoint, I would say this book is character-driven (I really like the characters). I am not that really satisfied with the plot of Part 2 which is the main reason I don't give it 5 stars. If there was no part 2, I would definitely give it 10 stars (just a figure of speech xD) Talking about the dialogues, I did find some lines to add in my quotes collections (they were that good) It's all about the conversation babyyyy!!!

P.S. I'm glad I'm finally back to Burmese books, thanks to Kyi Aye, you are my Burmese Sylvia Plath XOXO

I love it!! This is my first book to read of Kyi Aye. She left such a big impression on me that I tried to find her books after that and kept reading it. I have read it twice and I will read it again. She surprised me by how her ideas are outside of the box at that time. We can clearly see that in the characters. And the language, it is concise, clear and beautiful. Her burmese language is just gifted. Every sentence is beautiful, poetic and clear.

ဝတ္ထုကောင်းကောင်း မဖတ်ရတာ ကြာနေတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ “ကြည်အေးရဲ့ အပြင်လူ”ကို ဖတ်ရတာ ရေငတ်တုံး ရေတွင်းထဲကျ တာပါပဲ။

အပြင်ကလူ (၁) ကို ဖတ်ခဲ့ဘူးတာ မရှိဘူးဆို ဆယ်နှစ်ကျော် လောက်တော့ အနည်းဆုံး ရှိခဲ့ပြီ။ (၂) ရှိမှန်း မသိခဲ့တာ ကတော့ အခုဒီစာအုပ်ကို ဖတ်မိတဲ့ အချိန်ထိပါပဲ။

(၁) ကို ဖတ်ခဲ့ချိန်တုံး ကတော့ အဓိက ဇာတ်ဆောင်ရဲ့ ဘဝ အမြင်တွေကို သဘောကျမိတယ်။ သူ့လို နေနိုင်ရင် အတော် အေးချမ်းမှာပဲလို့ တွေးမိခဲ့တယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ (၁) ကို ဖတ်ပြီးတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ စိတ်ထဲမှာ မတင်မကျနဲ့ ပြီးခဲ့ရတယ်။ ဇာတ်ကောင် နှစ်ယောက်ကြားမှာ tension တခုရှိနေတယ်။ Unresolved issue တခုရှိနေတယ် လို့ ခံစားခဲ့ရတယ်။

အခု (၂) ကို ဖတ်ပြီးချိန်မှာတော့ မတင်မကျ ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရတာတွေ မရှိတော့ပါဘူး။ ဇာတ်ရည်ပိုလည် သွားပါတယ်။

ပြီးတော့ မြင်းထိန်း ငတာလို ပြောရရင်တော့ ကြည်အေးရဲ့ အရေးအသား ဟာ လက်ဖျားခါရပါတယ်။

‘’ မနောချစ်၊ ကာယအချစ်ကို ရောနှောပြီး အဆုံးစွန် အပြန်အလှန်ပိုင်ဆိုင်ခြင်းကို သက်သေပြုကြပြီး ‘’

အဲ့ဒီအဖွဲ့ကိုဖတ်ပြီး ဒီခေတ်စာရေး ဆရာတွေ ဘယ်လိုရေး ကြမလဲ တွေးမိပါတယ်။

In this book, Kyi Aye touched the downsides and mental conflicts of marriage that occured as a result of socially approved traditional marriages while introducing new perspectives to approage marriage and relationships, pretty much different and controversial from the traditional and conventional ways of human relationships that we are accepting until now.
