He was the perfect vacation fling—until I walked into the office and realized he’s my new boss…and my ex’s older brother.
Mexico was a retreat for my soul—sun kissing my skin, the hypnotic sound of the waves and my sketchbook at hand. Celebrating new beginnings as lead artist.
An unexpected ‘treat’ named Logan crashes my celebrations. He sweeps my mind away from the city grind and eases my nerves with endless banter.
Back home, Mr. Grumpy and I now work alongside each other, creating art to market his snazzy firm. He’s cold and guarded with little expression; almost lifeless as the walls of this conference room. Our feelings were left in Mexico.
But the pull between us only grows harder to ignore. Logan is warmer and opening up when we’re alone together. I cannot pretend Mexico never happened. It was an instant connection from the beginning.
And the moment I realize Logan is my ex’s brother, it hits like a punch to the gut—suddenly, I’m caught between the past I ran from and the man I can't stay away from.
A Trip of a Lifetime - It was meant to be a vacation to relax and let go of all the stress from their daily lives, but fate brought Lily and Logan together on the first day of their trip, so they could balance each other out. Lily lived her life to the fullest and Logan was a strait laced CEO, but their connection was one that neither could explain, so they just accepted it and enjoyed themselves. The end of Lily and Logan’s vacation was meant to be the end of their vacation romance, but fate had other plans in store for them.
Even though Lily and Logan tried to maintain a professional relationship after discovering their new working life, the chemistry between them made it quite difficult, especially when they had to work closely. Unfortunately, Lily and Logan discovered they had a person who was connected to both of them and the appearance of this individual really shook them to the core. However, Logan managed to deal the the situation, so he could finally acknowledge his feelings for Lily and they could get a chance at exploring their true feelings for each other.
I really enjoyed reading this heartwarming romance story about two people who had just about giving up on love, but turning the pages as I watched the characters figuring out their feelings for each other and finally falling in love, ensured it was a wonderful reading experience. This is a definite must read book.
I received a copy of this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
What a fantastic story. I thought the way the story started between Logan and Lily was just wonderful. The bond they built was so good. Then when they were back to work in the corporate world and finding out that Logan was now Lily’s new boss was such a surprise. The way this story was written about the way they worked and kept it professional was great. When Jack tried to get in both of their minds was scary until Logan told him it was over that night. Lily being able to put Jack behind her was such a great feeling. I liked how Lily trusted her ability as an artist to come up with what Logan needed for his company image. Then when Lily had her own anrt show and it being backed by Logan’s company was a surprise. The happily ever after came when Logan was called upon to speak at Lily’s show and he announced his support of the art world and of Lily, and when he left the stage and came to Lily and expressed his feelings and Lily accepting them was so heartwarming. I loved this book. I would like to recommend it to everyone. I received a free copy of this book but I am leaving this glowing review of my own free will. Thank you Naomi for a wonderful written book.
Wow! If I could give MY EX’S BOSSY BROTHER twenty stars, I would. It’s sweet and swoony with a sexy, wealthy, closed up, hunky male protagonist; that’s Logan. It’s beautiful, spontaneous, artistic and passionate, with touches of humor in all the right places; that’s Lily. This story takes the reader from lighthearted fun to something remarkably and stunningly wonderful.
My Ex’s Bossy Brother is ideal for readers looking for a quick read with some emotional tension and a touch of workplace drama. It doesn’t reinvent the genre, but it delivers a satisfying escape with heart. The story moves quickly, and leaves you craving more backstory and character growth.
