After everything they’ve survived, Savanna and Kairo are done playing by the rules. The contract that once bound them is now the blueprint for an unbreakable empire—but love, power, and peace don’t always coexist. With the past clawing at their future and new chapters unfolding fast, they’ll have to decide what matters holding onto the fire that started it all or stepping fully into the legacy they’ve built together. But in this world, nothing is promised. Not loyalty. Not love. Not tomorrow. The finale to the explosive Savanna & Kairo series is here—where love gets darker, the stakes get higher, and every move they make could change everything.
I just love how everything comes full circle. I love the story of Kai and Savannah. The intensity of their love is beautiful. The storytelling flowed so effortlessly. I had a hard time putting this series down because I wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. Definitely a great series
Now that’s how you do the damn thing Robin. I’m grateful to have an opportunity to arc read this whole series. It’s so much to talk about. I love how Kai listened to vanna and his mom about getting the help he needed with his adhd. Love how he took a chance on himself and getting the help and wanted to be better and no longer letting his demons control him. Danielle and Lawanda set up that funeral scene real nice and Jada finally got what she deserved. Moe could’ve been done a little dirtier than how it went down. Ty was too easy on him he should’ve be tortured same way he had done to Kai. Money and O can’t wait for there story to come together. I wish we could’ve gotten a very much detailed explanation on what happened after the death of pastor Ron and Vanna moms. How do Lawanda and Danielle know each other? I’m happy that kai wanted to break the cycle for him and vanna both as well as the kids. I do would like to see if baby #3 coming?
Everybody getting what they deserved for playing with them is Chef kiss … you play with fire you get burned😎…. once all the enemies have been eliminated, they were actually able to live in peace. Watching Kairos growth was one of my favoritein this series …. Not only did he want better for himself, He wanted to be better for his Savanna and his children. He definitely bossed up and I love that for him .He been going down such a dark path for so long that he didn’t think he deserved happiness. Although this was started with a contract, it ended in real genuine love. Savanna was out here, living her soft girl life which she deserved. She was surrounded by so much, because what her father was put in her through was traumatic AF. her getting to say, and Jada‘s demise was needed that girl been playing with her from the start. Savanna said I’m a big one never the little🤭. Monet and O story I’m ready to see what they’re gonna be about. I already know from what I’ve read it’s gonna be a messy time lol. Even though I’m pretty sure are weren’t feeling Ty I’m glad he was able to get redemption, and take full accountability with Moe… he truly got exactly what he deserved. I’m ready to see where his and Danielle story will go. You can definitely tell that the love is there between them both. That pot twist with Julius I did not see coming definitely was not on my bingo card lol .
From book 1 to book 4 Kario and Savannah's story was that kind of love story that a lot of women want, and fight for. Savannah was a classy Boss, she had her own and any man approaching her knew to come correct; at first she was dealing with this clown named Keenan, he couldn't live in his truth and because all his lies were unfolding slowly he resorted to pettiness which didn't end well for him, I was happy to read that his best friend Julius survived that fall and now able to live publicly in his truth. When Moe and Rocky thought they were finally about to get what they wanted a bomb was dropped. For a father to dislike his own flesh and blood wanting to cause her and her children harm because of his past was crazy because it had nothing to do with her; he took Savannah's mother away from her at an early age then to put the task of raising her all on his sister which he controlled but when that weight was lifted from her shoulders she was able to breathe and live openly, peacefully and with Ty the man that she's always loved,. Then while at the funeral the way Savannah snapped and handled businesses was demonstrating Big Boss Moves, Jada still running her mouth wrote that big check and waa shocked she couldn't cash it because Savannah made sure of that, she was a snake playing both sides and justice was serves cold, precise and with finality. Let's just say this is one series deserves all 5 star rating and more; excellent job Robin.
Whew, Part 4 had me locked in from start to finish! Growth was the theme, but trust me — not everybody made it. Keenan? Way too trusting for someone on the run — he should’ve moved smarter. Julius finally got the closure he deserved. Rocky? Talked loyalty but folded like a lawn chair and paid the price. Moe’s cockiness was his biggest enemy; he thought he was untouchable and the streets humbled him real quick. Now Kairo? Watching his growth was everything the way he took accountability and protected his legacy had me clapping for him. Vanna showed just how far she was willing to go to protect her family by tying up loose ends (Jada), and I was here for every second sis was NOT one to play with! Danielle and Ty’s love finally getting to breathe was beautiful. As for Monet and O? Yeah, they definitely need their own story their journey deserves to be told. I loved every minute of this story. Can’t wait for what’s next!
This was a lot. Didn’t love it. Didn’t hate it. The writing is fast paced. I guess you could say Kairo had character development in addressing his mental health & substance use. But yeah overall it was just ok.
Everything is not what it seems! The trump card in this deck is Love - that conquers ALL! The pens game in this series was amazing! Robin, I been rocking with you for a minute and love your work but Queen, you did your big one with this series 💯!
Let get into it’s. What started out as a contract where both Vanna and Kai wins, ended up becoming true and real love! Despite all the road blocks that were put in place, Kai made a point to knock them all down to protect what’s his and what he was building - Legacy!
Ty: listen I ready for him to get his karma is he didn’t come correct! He played too many games in my opinion! I glad he made it right as Moe was his responsibility! That beef honestly has nothing to do with Kai & Vanna! I eased up on ole when he to accountability for what he attempted when it came to Vanna! When I said Kai played no games when it came to her. Oh we can’t forget how he coming and came behind Danielle! Look he said it will not happen again - we in this together moving forward. Can we talk about how Danielle was riding to see it all come an end. Babe, she played no games! It may have hurt to see, but she knew it had to be done. Would love to know what develops with them now that the past is behind them.
Julius: ok, ok I had a feeling it wasn’t the end of his story but wasn’t so sure - lol! Either way, I’m glad he was able to remove the thorn from his side. The way he was betrayed. The way he knew Kai would have his back. Let just say he was able to handle business and without blinking or a second thought - I was speechless 😳! Oh can’t forget he part of the team now 🤣!
Monet & O’Shea: Not going to say much on them as I believe their story is coming. The way they both had Vanna & Kai back was the realest friendship. Again not too much on them - 🥰 !
Kai: my guy here! He play no games when it came to those he love! In this series everyone had some type of issue on how he moved or addressed things, but he wasn’t changing for no one! He knew everyone that needed to be addressed and that’s exactly what happened! My only issue is that he hadn’t addressed the Jada issue yet - 😡 lol! The way he handled Ty was the favorite part for me along with how he helps Julius with Keenan! However, what pulled at my heart string and had me teary eyed-😢 was Kai past childhood trauma. This trauma caused him to be the man he was and when he stated he basically wanted something different for his legacy - 🥹! Then to ask is Vanna was she proud of him, just did it for me - 🥰! Through all the drama, trauma and the street life, Kai realized that Vanna was his peace and didn’t want it no other way!
Vanna: my girl has been through it all. From losing her mother to a love triangle, her father not loving nor being there for her, her auntie lying to her, dating a DL man, agreeing to a contract to falling in love - but at the end winning and built a legacy! I feel that when she signed that contract she was already feeling Kai more than she wanted to admit and once she found out she was expecting it just sealed it all. My girl had it rough with her pregnancy -but finding out it was a 2 for one deal left me speechless - 🫣. That Moe, her daddy! Let me tell you, I was beyond hot and wanted to give all the smoke 🤣🤣! The words he said to her, shouldn’t no father say to their child I don’t care what the issue is! Oh but that karma was like no other! We can’t forget about Jada! That was my 2nd best part of this read! She deserved all that. Ya girl really thought it was going to be all good, but my girl said otherwise and Danielle was no better! I’m just glad she was able to get the peace & love she deserved!
Like always there’s so much more I could say about this series but I would never stop typing. I’ll end it here with day, I look forward to what Robin drops next!
Savanna and Kairo started on some paper-chasing, power-play type time. Strictly business—until it wasn’t. That contract turned into something real... real love, real growth, real legacy. And Kai? That man moved through mess like it was light work. No hesitation, no second guessing—he stood ten toes down for Vanna every single time. That type of loyalty? Rare.
My boo Kai though—his story hit different. That childhood pain, the walls he built, the way he fought to rewrite the narrative for his legacy? Whew. That man carried weight on his back and still chose peace. And when he asked Vanna if she was proud of him? That moment cracked something in me. He was still that fierce protector, but he wanted to be better—for her, for their future.
Vanna? Listen… my girl survived everything. Grief, betrayal, family lies, toxic love—and still came out powerful, glowing, and unbothered. She didn’t let the mess define her, she built a throne out of it. And that pregnancy twist?!
Danielle came through clutch too—no talking, just action. She knew what had to be done, and she didn’t flinch. Respect. Top notch Auntie!
Now let’s talk about Ty. Boy had me ready to throw the whole man away. The lies, the attitude, the games? Nah. But when it came down to it, he finally took responsibility—especially when Moe came into play. I gave him a side-eye pass, but only because he cleaned up some of the chaos he created.
Julius? That man spun the block on his pain and handled it like a boss. Quiet, direct, no wasted motion. And the trust between him and Kai? Solid.
Moe and Jada? Oh yeah… they both got exactly what they deserved. Karma was on time and had hands.
Robin, this series had me in a chokehold. Every chapter brought heat, heart, and hella emotions. You bodied this from start to finish. I’m sitting front row for the next drop, 'cause your pen? It’s nothing but pressure and pure magic.
I usually only rate 5 stars if the book made me feel the feelings. This one did not, but it did keep me actively engaged for 4 books and literally left no loose ends. All questions are answered. & I can’t wait for the Jack Boy series/book.
Kairo & Moe 🙄 Kai said if he can’t get Moe directly he getting the bloodline. Fren taking out 3rd cousins twice removed with no mercy.
Kairo and Vanna relationship kept me confused I thought they bypassed the contract and were dating but since he’s a man of his word he was going to still pay her xyz. Like, yall are clearly dating & in love. Don’t throw that contract stuff up when you are mad. Yall know I DNF when characters start moving funny.
Now King Kai- spiraled. He was down bad. Fren was drowning & ppl were throwing lines to help reel him in but he felt like he could handle it. Kai had some dark days in this book. He had some real defining moments. A lot of character development. Vanna- still with hypermesis & staying in seclusion. Moe still threatens and the unborn baby’s life. She really lowkey wasn’t a main character in this book. This book is 85% everywhere EXCEPT home & Vanna never left the house. Her relationship with Kaileigh was weird & how Kai explained it really makes you side eye her but I digress.
Moe gotta go,still Ty keeps son’ing Kai as if he isn’t running everything. O has to face a life changing secret.. Keenan…be keenan’ing & Poor Julius. Kai gave him money and told him to disappear but he played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. In the end he got what he was looking for and deserved. 🤷🏾♀️
Ohhhh one thing wasn’t talked abt…this mysterious twin of Kairos! But I assume that was to draw us into the jack boy book
Okay no, but seriously… if you’ve been riding with this series from Book 1 like I have, then you already know we’ve been on a whole rollercoaster of secrets, tension, love, and legacy—and Book 4? Baby, this was the drop that made the whole ride worth it.
We started this journey watching Savanna and Kairo circle each other—childhood familiarity turning into grown-folk connection—and by now? They’re soul-deep, bonded by love, truth, and a baby or two or three. What I love about this finale is how Robin didn’t just end the story… she healed it. Every secret that’s been whispered, hinted at, or tucked away under trauma comes to light. And when I say justice was SERVED? Whew. The karma in this book had me rubbing my hands together like Birdman.
Let’s talk villains real quick: Keenan finally got what was coming to him (bye weak ex!), Jada stayed messy and paid the price, and Savanna’s daddy Marlon? Yeah… him too. All snakes removed, all loose ends tied. Chef’s kiss.
But beyond the drama, what moved me most was how Robin let love win. Kairo, this powerful, damaged, fiercely loyal man, really opens up in this book. His growth? Whew chile. That man has been carrying so much pain and watching him choose to heal with Savanna at his side? That’s the kind of Black love story I live for. They built a legacy together—out of the ashes of their families’ mistakes—and made something sacred.
Of course, O’Shea and Monet still get a lil screen time and they’re still doing their slow burn thing (I’m absolutely gonna need a whole book for them cause whew the potential), but Book 4 is Kairo and Savanna’s stage. Their kingdom. Their happily ever after.
And yes, bestie, the love scenes still eat. Soft and spicy, passionate and healing. You gon’ feel it all in this one.
Book 4 wraps everything up with the perfect bow. It’s giving: closure, redemption, full-circle softness. A true happy ending. Black love wins. Period.
5 outta 5 stars. I’d read it again tonight if I had the time.
The finale gave me everything I needed it to give!
I was waiting for Kairo to put Ty in his place. To let him know that he can’t “lil kid” him anymore. That’s a grown ssa BIG DAWG right there!! The way this man evolved in each book. The prayer.
I was even happier to know that Vanna had that dawg in here like I knew she did, and that she would protect Kai with everything.
I am so in love with Monet and O’Shea and can’t wait to read their story. I know it’s going to be crazy!
Another thing I loved about the finale is the showcasing of Monet and Vanna’s friendship. That sister bond was so strong and the way they hold each other accountable.
I won’t lie, this one had my eyes sweating a lil bit.
Robin, sweetie, you did your thang! I will say…I still don’t like Ty…but as we move forward to the spinoffs - OH O’SHEEEEEAAAAAA!!! I’M READY FOR THE REST OF THE TOOOOOOUUUURRRRR!
Eh.. this book was alright. As good as the storyline was, I feel like it was a bit drawn out. I grew to dislike Ty more, based off the simple fact that he wasn't genuine to me. Like you criticize Kairo for his choices, but secretly doing the same things? And while I understand, be better, he was practically withholding information to make himself look good, it seems like. I just didn't like his character. I was almost losing likeness to Kairo. I just strongly disagreed with him gone, away from Savannah for weeks on end. Like that made zero sense to me. And yet you claim to feel so strongly about her? Yes you are fighting whatever demons you got going on, but it was just strange to me. I also found it crazy that Jada was STILL popping off at the mouth. Lmao like you aint had enough??? Goodness she was annoying. But anywho, overall, good story, but Savanna should've dang near demanded he be home more than he was. Glad he got some help though.
Baby this is the way you wrap up. Kairo was determined to see his legacy through. Living by his own rules he did what needed to be done to whoever thought they would threaten that. His determination was so strong he was even willing to face his biggest Opp himself!
Robin weaved a beautiful tale of family, trauma and the determination necessary in order to break ties with anything that didn’t align.
It was very fitting to see Ty handle Moe wicked self even though I’m still side eying Ty. He still has some proving to do.
Savanna standing by Kairo was chefs kiss. To quote Summer Walker “The only thing saving you, is the heart of a woman” and baby she did that!
I could go on and on about this series but bottom line, Robin rocked this and I can’t wait to see what she brings in the spin off!!!
Savanna and Kairo, Love Through All The Seasons and Changes
This was a beautifully written and I truly enjoyed it soooo much!!… I was sooo happy to see Jada and Mo leave along with Kennan!!!… To listen to the troubles that Kairo struggled with up until his other advised him to seek counseling to put him and mental issues to get him healthy and in a better place!!!.. Savanna was definitely a ride and I love how she encouraged, but didn’t overwhelm him!!!…She loved on him without suffocating him!!!…And now they move together in marriage, as friends and partners!!!… Now that baby girl I know is going to be a fire cracker with her brother a a silent partner!!!… I can’t wait to see what is next for O and Monet because I’m sure they are going to be ready to get on their baby making time with the surrogate!!!…
This book was so good! The growth and development from book one to book 4 has been amazing. I loved the fact that Kairo got something more than what he was expecting to get out of this contract. I also love the fact that Savanna grew as well maturity, wise as well as emotional growth. I feel that in both of their minds it started out as something on paper and it blossomed into something so much more beautiful. Robin, you did your big one with all these Plot Twist and shenanigans that you threw in there. I am a fan. I loved it so bad. 10 out of 10. Recommend this book to everybody if you have not read books1-3 start there and get into the finale you will not be disappointed at all!!!
There are some very small benefits of starting a series late. For one, by the end of book three of this short series, I was pulling my hair out 'cause I needed answers!
Lucky for me, I did not have to wait but days because Author Robin came through with book 4 like "I heard somebody was looking for me"!!!
I enjoyed! I Indulged! I Obsessed!
She planted some seeds. The Jackals left no crumbs on the rest!!
Just in case we did get enough, there are 2 spin-offs on the horizon.
More Kairo in - The Life of a LA Jack Boy 💙 AND Monét & Oshea their own story in - Bloodline Agreement & Obsession Clause!!
Let's celebrate this book and its entire series! Kairo faces struggles, but after meeting Vannah, he begins to overcome his challenges while still maintaining a gritty edge. The portrayal of therapy, ADHD, and autism throughout the story is well executed. The entire storyline kept me engaged from start to finish. The experiences of trauma surrounding Kairo and Vannah felt profound, resonating deeply with me as a reader. I appreciated how Kairo, the PHANTOM League, and Jackal ENT confronted and overcame each obstacle. I can’t wait to read more from this world!
This went deeper than I thought when it came to Kairo and how his mind processed to closing of all loose ends. I understood, shedded a tear, and cheered my butt off.
Everything came together exactly how I wanted it to. It's all about the future. Burying the demons that were forced upon by birth. Being free and using what you know to shape the future of your legacy.
Robin, thank you for a great beginning because I know this family is far from over.
I loved all the books in the series but the finale always hit different. All the snakes🐍 were dealt with and you got to see the main characters growth, especially Kairo. Seeing his growth into a father and his growing desire to be better thru therapy was amazing. I can't believe how 🗑Vanna's dad was but they Ty showed he could get it too. I was glad Monae and O had a real chance at happiness and parenthood. I am gonna he sooooo tickled if Ty actually got Aunt Danielle pregnant. 😂😂 We need a holiday update. Great job. Definitely⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Now this is how you wrap a series up 👏🏾 I loved seeing Kai’s growth from book 1 to now. Poor baby was really dealing with some things mentally that he needed to handle, but he had to do it on his own terms. Savanna was truly the perfect woman for him. She gave him the space when he needed it, the push when he needed it, and the unconditional support that he never got from Jada. Watching Kai become a father after all the shit he went through with Jada was truly beautiful 🥹 Everyone who did Kai & Savanna wrong got exactly what they deserved!
Yea ma’am that’s how you come through with this good ssa series lets start with moe you already got rid of her mama and now you want to get rid of your daughter and her child wow I’m glad Ty owned up to liking vanna and that lil girl came out like a quiet storm and she turned her volume up loud and she gave them hell I can’t wait to see her in the future cause she’s going to give them a run for their money lol
This 4th installment was all the loose ends being tied up!
The villains got dealt with no fuss!
Kairo worked on himself, which was a beautiful thing for him and his future family, because homie had a lot of demons, and how he coped with those demons were not the way to go! I was so happy and proud of him!
I knew my girl Vanna had it in her. Her & Kairo are perfect for each other in more ways than one. I hope we can continue to get more on these characters as they continue the legacy. I hope O’Shea & Monet are up next. I know they have a story brewing. If you haven’t read this series you’re missing out!
They handled what needed to be! Kai and Vanna were meant to be. They helped heal each other. Real love… didn’t really need a contact. I’m so ready for Money and O’s story. I’m glad mama reminded her about her frozen eggs. It’s time for her to have real love and a family.
Robin, your pen game was amazing throughout the entire series. I’m hooked and locked in for the next series. I'm saving coins to purchase and not just to download. Thank you for sharing your pen blessing with us.
If you have not read this series, please do so now or add it to your TBR list. It’s a must-read.
A Million Promises: An Unhinged Romance: The Legacy Continues (Phantom League/The Steele’s Series Book 4)
The book was a good read and I enjoyed reading the book because it was very informative about mental health illness and the complications of pregnancy. Your storyline brought tremendous clarity to readers who have dealt with these issues.
I’m screaming to the hills bcz this was a really really good series it was so full of everything from jump!! Kai is crazy bottom line but his crazy works and then there’s Savanna man talk about strong stubborn and just that chick she’s it.. the 2 together are definitely a storm. Happy reading
I loved the ending of this series. So many heavy issues were touched on that’s often kept quiet. Kairo and Savanna got the ending I’ve been wanting for them since book 1. Everybody else got exactly what they deserved from Mo to Javi and I ain’t sad about it!!!!! I’m so happy for Monét and I can’t wait to see what next for her and Oshea.
LOOK! IF you haven't read this series yet,get cracking people. THE SERIES is a page turner. From book one on. You will not be disappointed. LOVE,FAMILY( those who love you unconditionally). You will laugh, cry, smile, holler and cheer throughout the series. A MUST READ!!!!!!
