Emmett is planning on becoming a priest until he meets Margot. Margot feels her life has taken a turn for the worse when she has to move back home after getting her masters degree and has no job prospects. Then she meets Emmett. This is a well written almost forbidden instalove romance. It has great in depth characters who really make you feel for them. You’re praying for a happy ending. I loved this story.

HOT FOR PREACHER is Book 1 in The Forbidden Series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, forbidden, girl gets her hunk romance. Margot is a recent post graduate student frustrated to be returning home. She feels lost and that she is a failure. Emmett is a hunky soon to be priest. He has been helping her mom with a church fundraiser. When Margot arrives home, it is Emmett who answers the door. The two are attracted to one another. The more time they spend together, the hotter things get and the stronger the guilt. These two had insane chemistry. I could feel their angst and guilt but am so glad they were able to get their happy ending.

Emmett and Margot's love is forbidden, but it was meant to be. Emmett was supposed to be a preacher, but he met Margot and that all changed. she came back home from school feeling lost and he was there.
Emmet and Margot are on their own separate paths on life, until they meet each other and their worlds turn upside down. Don't expect a slow burn with this one, it's a novella so you definitely get the instalust/love. There's a lot of internal dialogue that actually felt like it slowed down the story, though I think that helped the relationship feel more natural. Overall, I enjoyed the story and thought it was a nice little spicy piece! 🌶️🌶️/5.

Rather confused about the other praise wondering if we read the same book. I could hardly get through the first chapter-the grammar and spelling needed editing BADLY. The fmc was very off putting and not very likable imo. I got about 30% of the way through, trying my best to get into it, before I just couldn’t take it. Gave it my best, but by no means wanted to waste my time.
I wasn't sure if I should give this 3, 4 or 5 stars....ultimately I couldn't give it 5 because of SO MANY typos and misplaced text. This author 100% needs to hire an editor. The story was really solid though and actually very realistic in showing the ways both characters struggled with the moral dilemma of their attraction and actions.
I really enjoyed hot for preacher which was Margot and Emmet’s story. It was an exciting, forbidden read. I received an early copy of the book. And voluntarily leaving this review.
