Addison and Roman . . .
Addison is wondering why at 5 p.m. the beach party hasn’t started yet. Almost the entire beach is empty! Where is everyone? So she decides to go for a walk. She notices a guy leaning on a railing. He starts to walk toward her, so she runs back to her friend, Emily, who had stayed back to take photos of seagulls. Looking back, the guy had returned to the railing. An hour later, it was like hundreds of people spilled out on the beach and the party was on. Addie was still mad about the wasted 2 hours, however. Uncomfortable about dancing, she instead walks down to put her feet in the water. So she wades in to her shoulders and floats (in the ocean??). Suddenly noticing how far away the beach is now (yeah, surprise), she tries to swim back but is caught in the riptides. Dark water surrounds her. Why aren’t there any lifeguards? She screams for help but is too far out now to be heard. A wave pulls her under and she starts to cry. Then a hand grabs her, a panicked voice asking why she won’t wake up, as water rushes up her throat, and she recognizes the tall man from the railing and she tries to scream(?). So she figures he must be a lifeguard because he watched her and came to rescue her… He offers to help her find her friend, but she refused because parties make her nervous! He tells her his name is Roman and she mumbled that she is Addison. He told her she was beautiful. So she asks to kiss him. Things progress and she gives him her V-card… and later discovers he is her boss. The End. Seriously, I felt this story had a very juvenile feel to it. Addie seems more like a 10-year-old than a woman of 22! I quickly lost interest in their story. Her odd responses weren’t even “funny”. So I finally gave up on it.

My Grumpy CEO by Amber Roy Book Review
Wow, this book is straight to the action providing us with a lot of backstory. What I love about it is how fast paced it is taking us straight to where a woman is trying to prove to her boss that their love is real, something tells me in the writing that it won't be that simple …
“With tall dark brown hair and sharp facial angles.” I love the descriptions in this book. The writer Amber has written a character that you are sure to fall in love with. Roman is cold yet tender and possessive. “Like it's holding something back. Like it knows how to keep secrets” Here Addison is referring to the White Sapphire that Roman gifts her but really she is also referring to Roman himself, his character. Such clever writing.
Jealousy. Enemies to lovers.
This book is steamy.
I have to mention the character development in this book. Roman; he turns from ice and softens. It's beautiful to see. Roman's truth, his dark past hit me like a brick. It makes sense that his character is the way that it is.
Roman messes up, can he make it up to Addison, or is their growing romance destined to fail? The scenes here are really heartbreaking. Roman's past could mean that he may actually let Addison go! …

A heart frozen in the past.
Roman is almost a Jekyll and Hyde character with his switches between nice, caring guy and cold hearted grump. Addison is an all-round ray of sunshine that has unexpectedly beamed into his life and he has no idea how to handle his burgeoning feelings for her. Unable to verbalise his emotions due to events in his past, Roman goes all out to keep her close but is powerless to avoid pushing her away. Addison’s handling of the situation is admirable and shows her caring, forgiving nature. Roman’s actions make sense once his background story is revealed and their HEA is satisfying. This is an enjoyable read.

OMG this was a great book. It was steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Addison and Roman relationship was hate and love thing. The chemistry between them was sexual tension and the physical attraction was captivating and spicy of hotness with a lot of emotions and passion. Could she tamed this grumpy CEO in this moment but one night with him will have her to gave into passion and even love.

A charming storyline with wonderful characters whose chemistry was absolutely combustible. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of CEO Roman Jones and Addison Davis. They meet when Roman rescues Addison at the beach and they have an incredible night together, only for Addison to find the next day when she starts her new job, that Roman is not only the man her took her V card he is going to be her new boss!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend giving it a read.

Roy's steamy romance has a lot going on in it. Roy comes to the aid of Allison when she nearly drowns, and it sparks a connection leading to an intimate encounter. They meet again when she learns that he is her boss and it jump starts their path. Their journey is filled with a lot of bumps along the way. Can they make it to the final destination for happiness.

I just spent the entire day reading this book by Amber which I really enjoyed reading. Roman and Addison are going to deliver you one fantastic read and I am really excited to read future book by this author whom I just recently found. Great Romance book right here waiting for you to fall in love with the characters and storyline.

Confused love
Roman is a man with so much hurt from his past he hides from love. Addison is a young women on her own for her first time. Their first meeting is when she almost drowns in the rip tide. Their second meeting is at her new work place and he is her boss! Great characters and story!! I highly recommend!!!
