I normally don't like cliffhanger books because I am not patient enough to wait for the ending. But with all the books available, I couldn't resist.

Lila is a woman on mission. After her sister's killer was exonerated 15 years ago, Lila is determined to bring her own brand of justice to the killer. Lila goes to work at the accused murderer's law firm. What Adam doesn't know will definitely hurt him.

Even though Adam was cleared of Janey's murder years ago, his past has finally caught up with him. And his world is coming crashing around him. But why and how?

This book was well written and I can't wait to read the other stories to see how this series ends for both Lila and Adam.

It's short but I liked it. The story line is easy enough to follow and the characters catch your attention and hold it. As a reader I want to keep reading I want to know what happens.

Predictable with awkward and cliche sexual moments.
