Once a Marine, always a Marine.

Luke Stratton has avoided his feelings for Hazel Burke most of his adult life, protecting and supporting her from afar. As the leader of an elite team of Marine Raiders, he knew that keeping Hazel safe meant staying away. Sometimes our darkest fears prevent us from living a whole life. Sometimes they come true.

When Hazel’s sister’s life is threatened, Luke is her first and only call. Little did she know, that call would spark old emotions, ignite new desires, and pull her into a perilous international plot. Luke may have left the Marines, but he didn’t give up his life of danger and intrigue. When threats lurk behind every door, Luke and Hazel will have to decide whether love is greater than fear.

as intriguing as the premise sounded, unfortunately, there wasn't really any execution. the writing was very hard to follow because random information was being dumped all the time. the pov is written in 3rd person, which isn't my favorite, but it was manageable to get through. the pacing with this book was also a bit off to me. honestly, this could've been a novella to save some time. and also, both hazel and luke icked me out quite a bit, which made it hard to get through the story. maybe it's not for me?

I actually finished this in a day I just didn’t know how to write the review. It was hard for me.

I absolutely loved the idea behind the book. Luke’s team is honestly my favorite. I can’t wait to read about each member.
I had trouble with Luke’s character. He started off strong, but some of the things he said just didn’t sound like a guy. I just couldn’t get past that. I liked Hazel, her character did bounce around a bit at the beginning, but had growth.
I will say once I started the book I had to see what happened and I’m glad I finished it. I loved the ending and felt it got stronger towards the end. I do recommend this and am looking forward to the following books.

Okay, Amy Cole—let’s talk about this book, because I was not prepared to be emotionally wrecked by a tactical ex-Marine with dimples and a heart of gold. Luke Stratton is the golden retriever hero of my dreams. Sir, you had no business being that swoony and that selfless.

Luke is one of those characters who’s truly been through the wringer—lost his mom too young, abandoned by his dad, and taken in by the Burkes like one of their own. He went on to serve as a Marine, rising quickly through the ranks thanks to his sharp mind, discipline, and sense of duty. But when the system failed him and his men, he stepped away to build something better—a business that operates outside the red tape of bureaucracy. But when it comes to one Hazel Burke, the man lets fear take the leash.

“Hazelnut” comes from a solid family—she’s soft-hearted, compassionate, and clever. Her early life was pretty typical… until this story throws her straight into the wringer. Heartbreak, betrayal, and sprinkle in a kidnapping - this girl deserves a vacation.

Her dynamic with Luke is the definition of slow burn. It’s clear they’ve always shared a deeper connection since childhood, even before the romantic tension started simmering years later. Their push-and-pull is magnetic—and I couldn’t help but get swept up in it.

This story spans nine months, and it is packed: emotional trauma, military operations, long-held feelings, and emotional growth that demands attention. There are definitely some cheesy lines along the way, but the story is incredibly heartfelt and surprisingly layered. I got misty-eyed more than once—and full-on sobbed at the end of Part 1.

Yes, it’s third-person dual POV—which isn’t usually my favorite—and sure, it could’ve been trimmed a bit. The long character list tripped me up more than once. But. I 100% ugly cried at the end of Part 1.

Oh—and Theo? Absolute standout. I’m already invested in his story.

If you love protective, emotionally complex heroes, slow-burn romance with real stakes, age-gap childhood friends, and just a touch of military ops meets found family—this one’s definitely worth picking up. Just maybe keep some tissues handy. 💔✨

Big thanks to Amy Cole and Grey’s Promotions for the ARC. As always, all opinions are completely my own.

This story immediately threw me into the action, suspense, and romance that had my heart pounding from start to finish.

Luke is a retired Marine who’s busy rallying his fellow veterans to form the Titan Group, and Hazel is a food journalist who finds her sister in deep trouble and turns to Luke for help.

I would definitely want Marine Raider Luke Stratton on my side when things go haywire. To me, he is the standout character with his strength and loyalty radiating off the pages. He’s dealing with the transition from military life to civilian life while trying to establish this operations team, and you get a sense of the camaraderie he shares with his fellow veterans. This band of brothers and sisters is bonded by more than just their service; they’re family. The smart and loving family that tells Luke to get his head out of his butt and do what's right with Hazel. Oorah!

Hazel is the “one who got away.” When she reaches out to Luke in her moment of need, it reignites all those old feelings between them as they grew up together. The chemistry is sizzling. Watching their characters develop as we peel back the layers on their childhoods and the friendship they cultivated over the years gave me that “will they, won’t they” vibe that kept me flipping the pages.

But this book is more than a love story. It had me on the edge of my seat with its non-stop action, clever plot twists, and that electric tension between Luke and Hazel. You can practically feel the weight of their history and deeper feelings as Luke has to grapple with the reality that his career could jeopardize their chance at a happily-ever-after.

The large number of characters introduced made me pause and think, but honestly, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment overall. The thrilling moments combined with the emotional depth of Luke and Hazel’s relationship made it all worth it.

If you’re all about rugged heroes, action and adventure, and an electrifying romance that could give Hollywood a run for their money, then you’ll definitely want to check this one out.

Thank you to Ms. Cole for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Only Ever You by Amy Cole

Rating: 3 Stars

Spicy Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Review:

"Only Ever You" by Amy Cole is the first book in the Titan Group series, featuring main characters Luke and Hazel. This was my first book from this author, and I was really looking forward to reading it since Military Romantic Suspense is one of my favorite tropes. Unfortunately, I was only able to give it 3 stars. Here are my reasons:

The book is written in a third-person point of view, which I generally enjoy. However, I noticed several instances where the wrong name was mentioned; many times it said Violet when it should have said Hazel. I received an advance reader's copy, so this might have been fixed in the final version.

The story is divided into two different timeframes, but it feels like two different storylines with the same main characters in one book. This made the narrative a bit disjointed for me.

Luke's characterization was somewhat confusing. He repeatedly mentions that Hazel is like a little sister to him, yet in the next sentence, he talks about his romantic and physical feelings for her. This inconsistency was disturbing and affected my overall enjoyment of the book.

There were a lot of characters involved, and at times, I struggled to connect the dots and understand how they all related to each other. I understand that some of these characters had been introduced in prior books, which might have contributed to my confusion.

While I am only giving this book 3 stars, I will probably continue to read this series and give it a second chance as I am now invested in these characters.

I’m no stranger to friends-to-lovers themed plots and usually I love them, but as intriguing as the plot for Only Ever You was… I just didn’t love this book as much as I thought I might.

I love it when an author uses the first few chapters of a book to really set the scene and get me invested in the characters, but I felt that that was missing. The drama happened so suddenly I honestly thought I’d missed something and didn’t really understand what was happening in terms of the main plot for the first 15/20% of the book. It felt a little unrealistic.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s so much potential here for a seriously sizzling, tension filled slow burn between Luke and Hazel but it just felt a little flat for me. I was expecting more of a build up of angst and tension between them with the forced proximity vibes but everything just seemed to happen SO quickly that I didn’t really feel the emotional connection or the attraction between them. I love a guy obsessed and willing to do anything to protect his girl, but I didn’t really feel like Luke truly saw Hazel as a grown women and the nicknames he had for her were slightly childlike and grating. Hazel is a virgin fmc and her ‘first time’ should have been a significant moment in the plot.. but it felt underwhelming and glossed over.

Maybe I’ve been reading dark romance lately to enjoy something a little tamer but this one just wasn’t for me 💔

I am married to a Marine, and I was so excited about the premise of this book!
I loved that the book is fast-paced. I read it very quickly. Definitely good for a poolside read this summer!
I will say the romance was good, but it fell just a bit flat for me. I think that there was just so much going on in the plot and so many other characters other than Luke and Hazel, that it almost took away from their romance just a bit. To be clear, it was still a sweet book.
Hazel's sister took a lot of plot time, and I felt we could have had a little less of that insta-love story.
There was plenty of tension and angst between Luke and Hazel - big fan!
The characters are fairly well-developed.
The plot is structured well, the sub-plots do overshadow the main storyline at times, but in its entirety, it is well structured. The pace is fast, and that kept me engaged in the book.
I love that Luke is protecting Hazel from afar. When they reunite due to the threats Hazel's sister receives, I love how the emotions and feelings just all bubble up to the surface.
The ending of this book is hands down the best part! Eek!
I don't want to spoil it for you, so I will just leave it at that!
Thank you to Grey's Promotions and Amy Cole for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!
This is a great book to add to your summer TBR!
Happy Reading!

Of you like suspense with ex military guys this is the book it also has a great plot with two bestfriends who let there fear lead them away from each other. Hazel has this whole life seperate from Luke they literally grew up together but Luke moved on to serve his country in the Marines and Hazel became a food blogger so what brings them back together Vi she's Hazels sister and she's missing so Hazel turns to the one person she can count on to get Vi back Luke. Luke may not be in the Marines anymore but he dose run his own company of ex military guys with the Titan Group. Luke has always wanted Hazel but he's never felt good enough for her and it all comes from his childhood and he put Hazel in a box labeled little sister just so he wouldn't ever have to deal with his feelings. Hazel may have crushed big time over Luke when she was younger but she's learned to just be his friend these too could use some serious couples therapy time.

This book is good it's a first time read by the author for me and it has a lot of potential were there some plot issues a little manly it was all in timing and transitioning from one scene to another but the author did well with the characters especially the guys from the Titan Group so I would read another book in this series.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

*Military Drama and the ones they keep! **

3.5
I was genuinely excited about the premise of this book, especially with its military background—something I am always a sucker for. I dove in with the intention of immersing myself in the love story between Luke and Hazel, but I found that their romance was somewhat overshadowed by other elements in the story.

The pacing of the story was fast, which I can appreciate, but it felt like there were too many side characters vying for attention. While I understand the importance of supporting characters, the focus on Hazel's sister and her insta-love/connection with another character seemed unrealistic in a way of how fast but also unnecessary it was.

The back-and-forth dynamic between Luke and Hazel did create a sense of angst and intensity, embodying that "will they, won't they" tension. However, I feel like between the 3rd POV and the amount of time spent on other characters, as well as the back and forth, it took away from the couple.

Despite these distractions, the book still managed to draw me in. The writing was engaging, and I found myself invested in the overall plot, even if it wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for. If you enjoy a fast-paced story with multiple layers, this book might still be worth a read.

I had not previously read anything by this author, but I will definitely look for her books in the future! Former Marine Raider Luke Stratton has been friends with Hazel Burke, and her sister Violet, since their childhood. When he receives a panicked call from Hazel, it is to learn that her sister was in a car accident and is missing. He has been in love with Hazel for years, but still believes that his career would endanger her. Now, it is his career that might help him rescue her sister. Luke has recruited a group of former military members to form the Titan Group. The group will work independently, but also assist with the government when needed. He sends a team member to locate Vi while he protects Hazel as he is aware they may also come after her. As he and his team investigate why Vi was taken, they become aware of a conspiracy that could endanger the United States. When Hazel attends a gala event on a yacht, she is shocked when the yacht is taken over by rebels. The alarm is raised and Luke immediately begins searching for her and the missing yacht. Non-stop action, suspense and romance, but has he lost his chance at forever with her? received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Luke and Hazel – A Slow Burn Worth the Heat! 🔥

Luke and Hazel have been inseparable since childhood—partners in crime, always having each other's backs. But time and distance change everything. He went off to serve in the Marine Special Ops, and she pursued a career in journalism. Years later, they reconnect, and it’s clear they’re no longer just the boy next door and the girl who tagged along. Sparks fly, but neither is quick to act on it.

Now, Hazel’s sister is in trouble, and Luke is back—older, stronger, and sexier than ever—with his elite team of military hotties, ready to handle it. He’s protective and secretive, while Hazel, with her investigative instincts, won’t back down from digging into the truth. What follows is a slow burn, friends-to-lovers romance wrapped in edge-of-your-seat suspense and delicious tension.

This story pulls you in from the very start. With electric chemistry, heart-pounding danger, and emotional depth, Luke and Hazel’s journey is one you’ll absolutely fall for. It’s the perfect mix of romance, action, loyalty, and longing. You won’t want to put it down!

10/10 – A sizzling, suspenseful, emotional ride!

Only Ever You kicks off the Titan Group series with action, romance, and a strong cast of veteran characters. The story follows Luke, a former Marine assembling a team of fellow veterans, and Hazel, a food journalist whose personal crisis draws her back into Luke’s orbit.

The setup is compelling, and once the story got going, I found myself eager to see how it would all play out. The chemistry between Luke and Hazel, along with glimpses into their shared past, added emotional depth. I appreciated Hazel’s growth throughout the story and the loyalty within Luke’s team, which feels more like family.

That said, I had some issues with Luke’s character voice and emotional inconsistency, especially in how he described Hazel. Some transitions between past and present felt disjointed, and the large cast of characters could be overwhelming. I also noticed several editing errors in the ARC, which may be fixed in the final version.

Despite its flaws, I enjoyed the momentum of the second half and the strong finish. I plan to continue the series and look forward to learning more about the other team members.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Couldn't put it down, so was up late/early finishing it!
Hazel and Luke were neighbours until his mother died and he moved in with her parents, sister and her, his father checked out and moved away, leaving Luke to fend for himself.
He joined the marines and did several tours of duty, but when his team took a direct hit he decided to no reup. It was when he saw Hazel at the beach that he realised that unlike Vi, her sister, he didn't see her as a sister at all! He still kept in touch but kept his distance.
Then she rang him after having a frantic phone call from her sister. Things get very scary, he arranges for a couple of his team to collect her and take her to a safe house, well flat really. There's things he's not telling her, lying by omission, which when she finds out she isn't too happy about, not the fact that he didn't tell her but that he didn't trust her enough.
Hazel has feelings for Luke that are not brotherly, she's not sure if he feels the same, and is wary of saying anything. Then the worst happens and instead of letting her help he does the opposite, what is he thinking?!

A great read from Amy

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for this book and I devoured it. There were a few spots throughout the book that weren't my favorite but over all I liked it. This book surprised me in the very best ways. It's a very compelling that grips you and throws you around with so much action, suspense and twists. I loved the childhood love that we found in this book. The duel POV is always a plus for me. To be able to see things from the MMC's point of view is just a must, and Amy Cole delivered giving us a possessive MMC. Hazel at the beginning for me was a bit wish washy but as the story progressed so did her character development and I was here for it! Luke and his team made this story for me. The banter and the friendship in the group filled my found family soul. I loved that Amy Cole highlighted the importance of Mental health acknowledgement that was so awesome in my opinion. I'm a girl who likes a good amount of spice in her books, and although this one had some I could've gone for more. But overall I liked the book and am excited to see what she does next!

This is the first book I’ve read written by this author and there were things I liked.
The premise of this book is the story of Luke and Hazel. The book is divided in two timelines. And it’s written in 3rd person POV.
There’s a part of mystery in this romance but I didn’t connect perfectly with that part.
Hazel’s sister is quite present in the book and sometimes her love story with another man is eclipsing the main story. Luke and Hazel has a past and the back- and- forth that they promote is a little repetitive.

Tropes you can find in this book:
- militar MMC
- second chance romance
- mystery romance
- two timelines
- 3rd person POV
- billionaire
- no 3rd act break-up

This book has open-door scenes. I think the spicy part was very balanced. And when it comes it fits with the narrative.

My ratings:
3,5/5⭐️2/5🌶️

I’ve received this book as an ARC and I’d like to thank Amy Cole and her team at Grey’s promotions for letting me read this book in advance and allow me to give my honest opinion.

THRILL, ACTION AND ROMANCE WITH TINGE OF ANGST:
Only ever you is a suspense-romance story between Luke, who is part of Marine special force and Hazel, who is a food journalist. The story starts with Hazel getting a call from her sister Violet, who seems like she is in trouble for her life. Panicked, Hazel call Luke, whom she knew since childhood and share a beautiful bond. What follows them are series of incidents that brings thriller and suspense element in the story.

The story focus more on romantic part than the case arounds which the story revolves, but there is enough balance between that readers won't feel disconnected. But as much as I liked suspense part, I had little hard time connecting with romantic part in starting but after part two, I started liking them. While Hazel is very clear in what she wants, Luke due to incidents happened in his life, in past wants to keep Hazel close enough to protect but far enough as to not let her in his life completely but after part two of the part, he starts opening up and there is little bit of second chance romance also.

Luke has been avoiding Hazel for most of their adult life, he is protecting and supporting her from afar. He was the team leader of a team of Marine Raiders and focused on the missions that he was sent on, but when a mission went wrong, he was forced to retire and sent home.
When Hazel’s sister’s life is threatened, she calls Luke and as they spend time together old emotions are brought to the surface. After fighting their feelings for so long they keep getting pulled together we are able to see that they belong together. They just take a long time to get there.
This story was very good, just slow and characteristics of Luke seemed off to me and it was hard to get over. Once you get into the book, you can’t put it down, I will admit to skipping over some of the slow spots. I think that the ending was the best part of the book, and the characters got stronger towards the end. I am looking forward to reading books about Luke’s team.

This book totally pulled me in—I couldn’t stop reading!

Only Ever You is the perfect blend of swoony romance and fast-paced suspense. Luke, a broody ex-Marine, and Hazel, the smart, tough woman he’s always had feelings for, get thrown back together when things start to get dangerous.

The characters were super likable, and the banter? So good—fun, flirty, and emotional in all the right ways. Some parts definitely tugged at my heart, and a few plot twists totally caught me off guard.

There were a couple of small typos, but nothing that took me out of the story. Just a heads-up: it does get intense—there’s violence, murder, gunfights, and some steamy moments.

If you’re into romantic suspense with great chemistry and some solid action, definitely check this one out. I’ll for sure be diving into more from the Titan Group series.

Huge thank you to Amy Cole, NetGalley, and Gasp Media LLC for the e-ARC.

This story is a beautifully layered exploration of love, trauma, healing and second chances. With emotional depth and crisp storytelling, Cole delivers a compelling narrative that lingers long after the last page is turned.

I ARC read this without reading the rest of Cole's books and I felt that the story was strong without knowing any background, but I will definitely be diving into her other books!

Cole has a remarkable ability to balance heavy themes with moments of tenderness, hope and even humor. Only Ever You doesn’t shy away from the complexities of mental health, grief and forgiveness, but rather embraces them with grace and empathy.

For readers who crave romance with substance and stories that examine the truth behind happy endings, Only Ever You is an unforgettable read. Amy Cole has crafted a novel that feels like a quiet revelation—one that reminds us that love, in its truest form, never asks us to be perfect, only brave.

DNF @ 15%

As intriguing as the storyline is, the writing for the first 15% was very “word vomit” like, but with the story. The pacing of the writing so far felt like this could’ve been finished in another 50 pages, novella like if you will.

The relationship between Luke and hazel was also jarring to me. In the beginning of hazels first chapter she explains their relationship out to be like acquaintances whose parents are closer than they are since they’re adults now and don’t see each other as much. But then he’s the first person to call and all of a sudden they seem closer than either of them think or lead on, then by the third chapter they’re both reminiscing on how the other is so good looking and perfect in every way. So kinda felt all over the place.

The pov isn’t my favorite, but definitely bottom of the list of why I stopped reading

Luke and Hazel have known each other since they were kids, and they both have feelings for one another. Luke has been avoiding his feelings for a while, but it’s gotten to the point where he has a decision to make. Will he let his fears get in the way of true love?

This is a fun, breezy romance! Even though there’s a military aspect to the book and a ton of hot Marines, the overall tone of the book is lighthearted. Luke is the perfect guy, loving and completely devoted to Hazel. Hazel is smart, strong, and capable, but it’s not a bad thing to have Luke on your side when you accidentally get involved in a criminal enterprise. I love that these two are able to see past their fears and insecurities in order to get together.

You’ll enjoy Only Ever You. Read it and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Book has a mix of action and suspense as Luke and his friends are all military trained and were team mates who decided to set up their own Ops team. There is also the friends to lovers trope as Hazel and Luke were neighbours and childhood friends with him falling for her first but nothing happens until they reconnected when she calls him for help. I enjoyed the suspense and action and the chemistry between Luke and Hazel was steamy. But I thought some parts of the story were a little unbelievable and the introduction of so many characters, very likely for future books, were a little too many all at once. Perhaps pacing them out over the series would be less confusing. That said, this was still an enjoyable read.

The story to this book was intriguing - Luke, a former military man who now heads up his own company that works in tandem with the government. And Hazel, a writer who has been friends with Luke since they were kids. Hazel’s sister finds herself in trouble and Hazel calls Luke for help.
They had good chemistry although I thought the fast pacing of their story didn’t match the slow rollout of the suspense part of the book. I did love the cast of Luke’s team. They had great banter.
Suspenseful romances are one of my favorites. And there is a good deal of that in this book. The third person writing style left me with a bit disconnected with the characters.
I do think the book ends in a strong way and there is room here to see other books develop from Luke’s team/friends.

This is a new author to me, and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.
Luke and Hazel were neighbors, and inseparable since childhood, always having each other’s backs. Now Luke has returned from being leader to an elite Marine Raiders, after an operation goes wrong. When Hazel’s sister goes missing, Luke is the first person she calls for help.
This is a good story which has found family, friendships, emotions, angst, drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, touch her and die vibes, best friends / lovers, redemption, and love, which leads to an enjoyable page turner.
The only downside is that the story is a tad disjointed throughout.
I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was an action packed adventure!! From beginning to end, there was nonstop excitement! Violet and Hazel, each, seemed to find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time! The love story that was integrated in with the action was not only sweet, but extremely hot! I’m told if you want something done right you call a marine. Such a great and intense book! I loved it!

Hazel is a sweet and accomplished food journalist, who finds her calling her childhood friend a neighbor to help her when her sister calls her scared.

Luke is an ex marine Raider that is forming a search and rescue type company sanctioned by the government. When he gets a call from Hazel because Violet found herself in extreme danger, he jumps right into action.

I gave Only Ever You 5 Stars and 4 Spice!

🌶 spice

I will start off this review by saying it is in third person & I'm typically not a fan of third person, but I fell in love with Hazel and Luke. They are childhood friends, but what pulls them together is when Hazel calls Luke, who is an ex-marine because she is worried about her sister Vi. Luke is always there to help Hazel and Vi, so he doesn't hesitate to help her once again. Luke tries to avoid moving things beyond friends because he is worried that he isn't good enough for Hazel....but don't worry, she is strong willed and doesn't quit fighting. This book does put you in suspense while waiting to see who is the culprit of Vi's kidnapping, but it only makes the story even better. I loved reading about Hazel and Luke's relationship and seeing it grow!!

Blurb:
Once a marine, always a marine.
Sometimes our darkest fears prevent us from living a whole life. Sometimes they come true.

This book had an incredible story line. I loved the relationship between Luke and Hazel. They loved each other for so long, the moment Hazel turned 18, he knew he loved her. They were almost meant to find each other and be together. Luke would do anything to save and protect Hazel, and I love that so much.

This if the first book I’ve read by Amy, I haven’t read a lot of third person pov books, so it was a little tricky to get used to in the beginning, but it got easier as the story went along. I will definitely be reading more of her books💙

I literally finished this book in less than 9 hours, it had me hooked, fast!!!

Favorite quotes🫶🏻:
“I’d be proud to have you in my corner any day of the week. Every day of the week forever.”
“Wherever we are Hazelnut, you’re my life.”

I would definitely recommend you check this book out, because you won’t be dissatisfied, such a quick read with an amazing love story.🫶🏻

This story had a strong start and pulled me in right away. I appreciated how it openly addressed military men seeking professional mental health support—something not often highlighted with such care. The premise is compelling, and I’m intrigued that future books in the series will follow other characters.

However, the story didn’t quite hold my interest as it went on. It lacked cohesion, and the continual use of nicknames started to feel juvenile and distracting rather than endearing. A promising concept, but the execution didn’t fully land for me.

📖 Worth checking out if you like military romance with emotional depth and plan to stick with the series.

I am not usually a fan of military romances, but the suspense in this novel had me looking past the military trope and really enthralled in the story of Hazel and Luke. I thought the author did a nice job of bringing side characters into the novel as well, weaving them in so you can guess who will couple up in future books. I realized after I started this book that there are already two other novels/novellas in this series, so they have obviously been added to my TBR ;)

This book was a 3.75/5 spice level for me - this book definitely focused more on suspense and less on smut, but still a great story if that is what you are looking for in your next read.

Only Ever You is the romantic suspense story of Luke & Hazel, childhood best friends who spent years with miles between them while Luke was in the Marines & Hazel was in college. When Hazel’s sister is in serious danger, she calls Luke & his cadre of former Marines to help. Forced into the very proximity he’s tried to avoid all these years, Luke is face to face with his very own one who got away—can he hang onto her this time & keep her safe? With action, banter, yearning & plenty of spice, this book had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t get enough & can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the Titan Group series by Amy Cole.
