My second book on this series.
This works as a stand alone story too.
A good chapter book for early readers. It does contain some peril but the language is appropriate for the intended age range.
I think that isolating the main character from his friends did cut out the comedy too much. I understand that the plot needed this but it also reduced the laughs.

About the book:
It was about a shark Called Harry who wants to be a lone shark away from shark point after an awful birthday. He got caught by a great big squid and he changed his mind as shark point saved him.
My favourite part:
When Harry got captured by the squid because he was being so silly and was not listening to anybody.
What could of been better:
If Harry became friends with the squid.

132 pages. I read 22 pages out of 42…and that was JUST the first chapter!!! UGH! It was wayyyyy too long. Weird! It is a strange kind of book and boring. Skip.

Harry Hammer has a terrible birthday party and decides to run away from home. When he is captured by a giant squid who intends to cook him, he realizes home wasn't so bad and tries to find a way to escape. A funny, punny read with a good message.
