This one was special. It featured a mountain man who is the strong, silent type. There’s something about really seeing the man who is always watching over you… add to that him being a sex god and a man who thinks about walk-in pantries when he’s building a house, and you have Jasper. I love that this couple really SEES each other.

Winter fire with the Mountain Man
This is such a fun book! I loved the mushroom farmer angle and how unbothered Susannah was about Dusty’s man-ho-ho-ho past. And they definitely warmed each other up.
Premise: The winter games continue on the mountain (the mountain men are doing them as a fundraiser for a friend whose daughter is getting chemo and other expensive treatments). The Polar Plunge is the next event and Dusty gets to choose which woman will warm him up afterwards…

This story was just perfectly over the top. It was Instalove at its finest. I liked both characters and totally empathized with Grace about not being the outdoorsy type.

Winter Secrets with the Mountain Man
This one isn’t my favorite. I liked the concept of Eggs for Breakfast that the hero told the heroine about. But I didn’t care for either of the main characters, Miller and Krista. I didn’t like that Miller was so in love with Krista that he became a virtual doormat for her. I also didn’t like that he wouldn’t use safety equipment when climbing. And Krista… I don’t like that she shined Miller on there for a minute, when she wanted to be taken as seriously as she did.

This is the culmination of the series. Lana and Cody, a divorced couple, have had a lot of medical bills related to their daughter’s cancer. The winter games were set up so that their friends would have an excuse to give them money. It’s a Parent Trap romance, but still very sweet with a little bit of heat.

When their friends daughter is diagnosed with childhood cancer and he’s too proud to take handouts, you figure out a way to get him the money. That’s how the winter games started. Each book in this anthology is about the games and the couples who take things to another level while they’re going on. Each book has recurring characters so as you read you have a feeling who the characters are and their friend base. Although each is a stand alone story, they intertwine also giving you a bigger picture of the events. Each and every character is unique and you really get a feel of who they are and what a great community they have. Even though there isn’t any Ozark Mountain Men book I don’t love, I love these games the most because of the great friendships and support they represent. Not only, will you love the books and the characters steamy relationships, the game themselves bring another level to the story line with the competitions within each game. I cant recommend this series enough, if you love alpha, dominant mountain men, this is a series you won’t want to miss.

Yummy boxset full of Mountain Men looking for their women to hold on to forever. Yes, Please! Lily gives stories with the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with characters to fall in love with. Perfect to binge on or grab a quick Instalove romance fix when needed.
A sweet story I enjoyed is Winter Games with the Mtn Man:
An enjoyable quick but well written mountain man Instalove. I liked how Lydia and Russ communicated with each other as their relationship grew. A bit steamy, enjoyable characters, humor, a smidge of angst, and a lovely HEA. Perfect for when you need that romance quickie.

Ozark Mountain Men Winter Games – 6 Books!

I read all the books individually and I am glad to see all 6 books in a collection. You have to read this box set! :-) The books are standalone but it is so much better to read them all in order.

“The Winter Games” fundraiser like the Olympics at Red Oak Mountain. It will be a mountain man competition and charge admission to attend the event. The money is raised for Amber, she is the daughter of Lana and Cody, and is going through cancer treatments. In each book, it is a different competition and event. All the books and characters are different ;-)

It has romance, instant love connections, drama, action, passion, steamy sexual scenes and everyone has a happier ever after.

Amazing collection of 6 books each focusing on one couple. Loved it, couldn’t read it fast enough.
First book tells how the Winter Games came to be. One of the men in a tight knit group of guys has been going through a lot over the last year and is too proud to take help from friends. So they come up with a great way to help out.
Each book has one or both people as participants in an aspect of The Winter Games and tells how everyone meets and fulfills the original goal of helping out a friend.
Great read, especially when you realize you get all 6 books in this series for one price! Grab them, each novella has a complete story and they all flow together seamlessly!.

This was a wonderful set of romances that are all quick reads but having them together like this is great for some binge reading fun. Each story is about a different couple but they all have interesting characters, some angst and drama, and a sweet but steamy romance. I really enjoyed how these stories had lots of emotions and were heartwarming at the same time. I had a couple of these stories, previously, but love that I now have the whole series to flow from one book to the next. Good fun!

6 different stories and a perfect final story that you somehow already feel before - in background of all other stories - what will happen with key persons?
Wonderful characters, their different attractions and steamy instalove romances to enjoy. Well written, funny, entertaining, some very emotional, but all - easy to read and be engaged in.
