When a handsome stranger named Scott offers to walk Dalili home it all seems so innocent. She enjoys the company of the kind man and his very sexy British accent but she figures she will probably never see him again.
However, when Dalili begins to “coincidentally” bump into Scott on more then one occasion she begins to wonder just what this mysterious man really wants with her. Does he genuinely like her? Or is there something a bit more “dark” about this tall, dark and British stranger then Dalili would care to find out?

For a short story "Tall, Dark & British" was very good. Usually with short romance stories you find that the hero and heroine meet, have sex, and fall in love. That was not the case with this story.
The heroine (Dalili) was a stubborn, complicated, yet insecure female that met a hero (Scott) that was warm, light-hearted, and a gentlemen; who happened to be British. In a short amount of time you are able to realize that the heroine is struggling with some culture family issues as well as insecurities about what men really want from her. In this same amount of time you are able to see the hero break down all her insecurities by showing her his true heart. That doesn't mean everything goes smooth for them, but if I told you all that then there would be no need for you to read the story (and you definitely should).
What I really liked about this story that I was able to feel the chemistry just based on the interaction between the hero and the heroine. My only problem with the story is that I wish there was more, I wish there was a more in depth HEA for the couple.
Scott and Dali, the main characters, pretty much hit it off, meet the family, and fall in love within a week. The blurb for the book was also misleading and I don't think it really went with the story which was too unbelievable and not realistic at all. It was an okay short read, but it wasn't great. >_<
I can say this is a book that was not for me. I skipped two chapters to get through the book . Glad to say this book was free on Kindle unlimited or I would've been highly upset for what the money it did calls for this book
I liked the story; however, I wish the author would have differentiated when the timeline of the story changed. It seem to run from one day to the day.
