Catching Bodies

Rate this book
At a time when the rest of the field has retired from the world, and is back in the lab dissecting language as if participles were frogs, Phillip Mahony is out there on the street, his life on the line, Catching Bodies. I guess somebody will call this crime literature. I guess they should. Certainly Mahony's poems ring more true than even the exciting novels of an Elmore Leanard, or a particularly good script on either Miami Vice or Hill Street Blues. --Bob Callahan, Callahan's Irish Quarterly
