I'll be honest, I've never read a book of nothing but poetry before. That said, this book is definitely getting 4 stars from me, not because of of the poems within it were amazing, but because certain lines written by the author were nothing short of brilliant. I'll admit it, there were some poems I didn't quite get, but isn't that the beauty of poetry? It's a subjective journey. There were some poems in this book, however, that my mind couldn't seem to let go of. I found myself thinking about certain lines or the imagery portrayed by some of the writing long after I'd read the words. That's why I liked this so much. Excellent work, Erica Christensen.

"Scattered Sheets" by Erica Christensen is a collection of poems meant to express the pain, self doubt, the anger, and the words you might use to express it. It then evolves into renewed sense of hope that someone will love you too, that there is someone special for you that will appreciate you in your broken perfection too.

I understood all the emotions that were expressed in the poems and I was able to closely relate to the words on the pages. I don't read too many poems but this particular book touched me.

Scattered Sheets

Beautiful, emotional, truthful, gives you the feels. This is not a full length novel, but it packs a punch like it is one. Thoughts and poetry.
