—A company providing smart phones and other wireless devices with an operating system that contains artificial intelligence designed to meet your every need—even if it kills you; —A tech conglomerate CEO who plans to broker the country’s intelligence secrets to the highest bidder, be it a terrorist or enemy state; —And an interactive game start-up with an avatar on the deadliest mission of all: kill Donna.
Can she save the world from terror—and at the same time protect her children from the painful knowledge of the father who deserted them?

HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!!! READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL!!!
So something happens near the end of the book and I am PRAYING that it's true and final. But I'll bet it's not :( I loved this book! So funny and silly and sweet and poignant and just plain awesomeness all around. If you're a fan of this series (and why would you not be), you are going to love this installment!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The housewife assassin is kicking but and is takes no prisoners. A great read. The computer gamer info geek talk was fun. Machines that can interact made this not so far into the future seem impossible.
The premise is silly and the stories are chock full of plot holes and ridiculous coincidences but darn it they’re fun. Donna Stone is apparently a housewife with three kids and a gorgeous husband. They are both actually spies and assassins working for a US government contractor. The kids as well as the neighbors have no idea. Oh and by the way Donna’s “Husband” isn’t really her husband. That guy disappeared for 5 years right after their youngest child was born and is now a traitor who shows up regularly to annoy Donna and try to get custody of their kids and usually some sort of international terrorism on the side. This is the 8th in the series that has plenty of humor, romance, sex, James Bond style spy tech, thrills and silly yet entertaining adventures..
I didn't care for the techie atmosphere of this book. The virtual reality games, the intelligent operating system, and the google-like tech company failed to keep my attention. I finished the book because I love the characters, but I really didn't like this installment.
This book shows how modern technology can easily be used for evil as well as for good. Each of these books has a plot and topic that easily keeps the readers attention.
Josie Brown never disappoints. This is another Donna Stone book and as funny, exciting and crazy as all the others. Great entertainment. I just love these books and can't get enough of them.
I loved this series! Mom by day, assassin/honey pot by night. Can’t get much better than that! I loved the humor, personalities of the characters and the series really gives you it all: romance, comedy, and messy motherhood
Very cool read. This time, the gang are after some thumb drives that contain sensitive political information. At the same time, all defence agencies are being reviewed, which gives Acme a chance to try to bring down Carl.
An ally that hacks into Donna's phone, named the Mad Hatter, gives them helpful clues along the way, and their identity is a neat twist. Also, Carl's push for joint custody means Donna and Jack finally have to tell the kids the truth. Naturally, Carl's one visit with the kids upsets them, because he tries to buy their affection, while hanging out with a prostitute, whom little Trisha happens upon by accident. Ewww!
Another interesting piece is that Donna is hired by a gaming company, with Emma's involvement. Emma rewrites a game which turns into a huge hit, and at a gaming convention, Donna manages to beat the guy in charge of the game's development, while also finding out he's part of the Quorum when he dies at Carl's hand.
In the end, Carl may or may not be dead again, bet you can guess what my money's on. It ain't over yet. Last, but not least, it's time for Emma's baby, who knows what that will bring in the instalment.
Lots of fun, more gaming tips than you can shake a stick at, these books get better and better.
Although I still love the interaction between Donna and Jack I could have done without all the Alice and Wonderland stuff while it didn't take anything away from the story which I still liked it just kept me from enjoying as much.
