Cassandra is swollen in her pregnancy, which makes her irritable and aggressive. While it annoys Mike, who stays home with her all day long, he keeps his mouth shut and remains sympathetic. Unsure what to do, he turns to the best father he’s ever known—his own.
Sean surprises Scarlet with a diamond bracelet and a surprise trip to a bed and breakfast. When Scarlet realizes it’s for their one-year wedding anniversary, she knows she completely forgot about it. After apologizing repeatedly, Sean brushes it off. But when she finds the receipt for the bracelet, costing Sean over a hundred thousand dollars, she’s pissed at him—livid.
Flynn decides to get Hazel drunk because he says the sex is awesome. She’s more confident and carefree, telling him exactly what’s on her mind and how she feels toward him. But when they run into Zahara at the bar, Hazel doesn’t hold back. Dragging her by the hair outside, Hazel is ready to bash her face in right on the sidewalk. Flynn stands aside, wishing he had a bowl of popcorn to snack on.
Ryan starts to feel unsure about his wedding day as it approaches. Not because he doesn’t love Janice or has faith in their marriage, but because he simply isn’t good enough for her. His mom is psychotic and abusive. Should Janice have to settle for someone who’s damaged goods? He finally decides to end their relationship, breaking up with her through a note before taking off. But will he go through with it? And if he does, how will Janice react? Perhaps their relationship isn’t as strong as they once believed.
Cortland and Monnique end up taking their honeymoon to a new height. Instead of being gone for the two weeks as planned, they decide to make it two months, traveling through Europe and sightseeing. it's sad that this series has finally come to an end! after 20 books, the gang finally get their happily ever after. i loved this series, and these characters so much! from seeing them fall in love, argue & fight over pointless things, go through some really hard times, to finally coming together as a family. i felt like i was a part of it in some way, sharing all those beautiful & tough memories. in this book, we finally see the rest of the couples promise each other forever, we see the birth of the next generation & a family come together as a whole! Todd definitely went out with a bang with this book, and didn't disappoint. i'm just happy she has a new series that picks up with the next generation of the crew, i definitely already love it! especially since we get glimpses of these characters as parents.
Well I have finished all 21 books, which I couldn't stop reading, the only down that I have is the cost of all 21 books ouch!!!! I really enjoyed them, now I feel like I should read all about the kids, but it's going to cost a FORTUNE to read them all X
This is the first of a two series set of books: the first tells the story of the lives of the parents and the second the younger generation.
I enjoyed this series, the stories are well told and the characters come to life on the page. The series needs serious editing; there are typos, grammatical errors, wrongly used words, continuity issues and an absence of fact checking - time zones and travel is incorrect. However, if you are able to look past this they are well worth a read.
A half a book for 4.99 rip off. I love the story, but seriously at 4.99 a pop this should be .99 - 1.99 the second half of the book is a half of another book not in this series. Honestly very disappointed because it is a great story, but your taking advantage of the loyal readers. I will not be buying anymore and figured this is a good time to stop.
I have read both series twice. The story line is excellent. It has moving and emotional parts and also amusing parts. It should have been edited for errors and typos.
Awe, the end of an era! Its been a fantastic ride, following Sean and Scarlet; all the trials and tribulations they endured. Skye makes everything so worthwhile. The delivery scene was so beautiful, you really felt you were a part of the family.
Then we get Janice and Ryan also working all through their issues and insecurities and when Ryan hit rock bottom, fearing he was not worthy of having someone to love him so unconditionally. Janice is such a tough lady and so right to make Ryan come to his senses.
Their wedding was absolutely lovely, their vows were so unique and very special.
Mike and Cassandra, again they have worked through so much in their short time together overcoming everything. They have a really cute 'Trinity' to show how much their love brought them through it all.
Cortland and Monnique sounded like they had a truly fantastic honeymoon, especially as I feared they weren't going to make it. So thoroughly deserved.
Hazel and Flynn still in the early throws of their relationship and having so much fun, I loved how his first attempt at a proposal was going so well, then the ex puts paid to that and before that how Hazel dealt with Flynn's ex.
I am so glad that Diane and Andrew made it through all the crap. Admittedly I didn't like Diane when she was being so damn rude to Scarlet but the transformation after learning what was wrong with her, she made up with each and everyone of them. Andrew continued to be the rock of the family, and it was quite something to realise he too had a vulnerable side.
This has been a lovely story of love being the main focus, the love shining through it all. The Family are bonded by the fierce love of this fabulous group.
Tolles Finale.
I am in love with reading. I fell in love with Sean and Scarlett's story from book 1 and was ecstatic to find out there 20 books in this beautiful series. I was extremely upset when I had finished book 20, but it was a nice surprise at the end to find out that there was a 21st book ! Ms Todd is an extremely talented woman and she was able to make me feel like I was part of the book and like I was really inside the characters heads as well as sitting there beside them. I would love to read her final book that she is currently working on. I couldn't get enough of this series !
I absolutely loved this series! I loved being able to spend so much time with all the characters over time. I felt so involved with each of them. I felt like I was experiencing the journey with them. This series really captured my attention and my emotions! There were times I was so mad, happy, sad, worried, relieved, laughing, even crying. Sometimes I felt actual pain in my chest for the characters just like they were a part of my family! I am looking forward to the next saga.... The Forever and Ever Series, which carries on the story with the kids.
I have read all 21 books in the series and I'm sad to see it end. Each book in the series has been captivating and interesting and kept me wanting more. There is plenty of cliff hangers throughout the series which Is great. I would recommend this series to everyone. I loved each and every book. Well worth a read, Loved it!
I really enjoyed this series. It sad that it came to an end. But like the saying goes all good things comes to an end. I will read this series again real soon. like El. Todd had said these characters felt real to her. I am looking forward to the next series that involved their children. This is a must read series.
So this is the last book in the 'Forever and Always'-installment and omg! The story was kinda dying for me when Scarlet&Sean's story got kind of neglected(?), but I recovered quickly by Hazel's introduction and Flynn' appearance. However did I wish that the actual main characters would get one last spotlight and thanks E.L. Todd for answering my prayers. Definitely one grand finale.
I have all the books preceding this book and love all of them what a incredible group of people who became a wonderful family I loved every single person with there flaws and all stories were absolutely incredible I guess you can tell I loved them . I’m now waiting for the third Dr. series to come out
LOVE IT SO MUCH...PEOPLE WHO ASKED IF YOU SHOULD READ THIS YOU SHOULD...IT IS A MUST READ...HER HAWAIIAN SERIES IS GOOD TOO...RIGHT NOW I AM READING THE ALPHA SERIES. SUCH A TALENTED AUTHOR! MY FAVORITE!
I am so happy for Scarlet and for Sean. It was time for them to get their happy ever after and I am so happy that Diane was ok. I cried so hard for her goodbyes and also when she wanted then after in recovery
this whole series was beautiful. minus the timeline that was off a bit. those boys are overly protective but it's a bit sweet in the end. I love how Hazel and Janice kept their feet down about working outside the home better than the rest of the girls. it's 2015 we can work and manage homes now.
This is 15 & 16 of the Forever & Ever series. These stories are addicting like soap operas. These two find one set of couples mending fences, others fall apart and are searching. There is some steam, but this is an on going soap with turmoil and conflict. Looking forward to the next.
