Requited is a steampunk romantic short story, a companion story to Unrequited. Same series of events but a different point of view.

I have never read two stories (Unrequited & Requited) before with different perspectives and I thought this was great. It takes quite a talent to write the same story from various viewpoints while still managing to keep the reader engaged. Obviously, most of the dialogue will be exactly the same in both books since it IS the same story, however I thought the author did an excellent job mixing up the action.
Miss Clouse tells a cute little story full of action. The heroine, Miss James is an opera singer who leaves an impression on the hero, Axel--a wanted pirate. Axel is determined to keep her safe by keeping his distance, however, that becomes a problem when his nemesis learns of his affection. If you're looking for a short sweet read, this tale will leave you smiling.
This may be short, but Axel is a man to love. I loved seeing his side of the tale. I don't typically bother with stories that retell from another point of view, but this is a winner. You admire Axel in Unrequited, but his feelings will have you falling in love in this version. I can't wait for more.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the same two main characters, Kaliope and Axel, from Unrequited. In fact, it’s the same story, this time told from the hero’s point of view! All the same events, but described with a different frame of reference. The best part for me was finding out how and why the impossible ending took place. Again, this is a very nice short story, though I noted more editing errors in this one.
Uberreader's review of Unrequited by Elle Clouse This is an extremely intense short story. It begins with the heroine waking from a drugged kidnapping and the action continues to pile on, with the arrival of the hero of the story. The action just gets more gripping once the primary characters are interacting. This reader can not wait to see where the next installment of this story goes. I would like to thank Ms.Elle Close for the free ARC of this story that I received exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
This is a retelling of the steampunk romance "Unrequited" from the hot pirate Axel's perspective. I loved the story but it didn't have that strong an impact on me because I read it immediately after "Unrequited." Still, I would recommend this short story to anyone who loves a romantic adventure with pirates and a kickass heroine.
Goodread This is a different but same story read told But Alex. It is great how the Auther could right the same story and keep both different but the same and keep the reader interested in it. Grab your copy and your favorite drink, turn the world off and enjoy.
‘Requited’ is a steampunk novella, the second part to the novella ‘Unrequited’ told from the point of view of Axel the Black, legendary pirate. His enemy has kidnapped the opera singer Kali, A woman he has come to love from afar. I loved reading the story from Axel’s POV. I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Requited was an okay read, to me it seemed too similar to Unrequited. I wasn't sure if this was done on purpose but for me it made the story hard to read because some of the sentences read word for word.
