I have read other books that present a dog’s perspective, however, this one far surpasses the others. It is a fun witty tale of the daily adventures of a dog rescued from abandonment. The dog’s observations of the humans in his world are quite amusing, which caused me to (uncharacteristically) chuckle which then raised a few eyebrows in my vicinity. The book is thirty years old and I found it in a used book store but you can get it online. If you are stuck in a genre rut and need something to reset, this will do it. Reading this book may cause you to view your canine friends and family with greater degree of discernment.
