About the author

I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up my next story, of which there are always two or three in the works, I enjoy reading everything from children’s books to romance to mysteries to vampire adventure, singing in my church choir and needle-weaving.

A turn-around for Ms McKenzie in that this story is 'straight' M/M interaction (LOL, as if Toby and Gavin could be straight!) but it's a change from her usual M/F or M/F/M books.
