Cari and Josh are married for twelve years and still madly in love with each other. When they have an opportunity to spice up things in the bedroom - or in this case, outside of the bedroom - they don't hesitate to exploit it.
Adventurous is part of the Favorite Things series, a set of erotic short stories about Cari and Josh.
It is a sexy and fun episode of their life, told from Cari's viewpoint. It was okay, but I don't think I'm up for the rest of the series.
The look on his face... I knew what that meant. It meant he was going to take what he wanted, right here, right now, and there was nothing I could do about it... not that I wanted to stop him.

I've never read any of Juli Valenti's books before, but I've been a fan of Rene Folsom's for years now and I really enjoyed this story! Juli and Rene are a good team because they created an amazing book. I look forward to reading the next installment of these stories and read more from both authors!
This book is about a married couple, Cari and Josh, who have been together for over ten years. They are still very much in love, partly because they keep things interesting in their love lives. The passion that started in the beginning of their relationship is still blossoming.
This story definitely was adventurous and the things they did in this book was steamy and hot! The passion and love that is evident from both characters is beautiful an amazing. I look forward to reading the next title in this series!
I recommend this book to everyone!

Holy wow!!
I have always loved Rene Folsom and her unique way to pull a reader into her stories and make them feel right what she wants them to.
This is my first time reading something by Juli Valent and I have to say, she's amazing! I love the way that her writing meshes with Rene's and the unique way that they set the scene. Not to mention, the out of the box situation they played out
Cari and Josh have been married for twelve years. Unlike some marriages, theirs is still going strong. They're still completely head over heels for each other. The special thing that they share is Josh's love of NASCAR.
After a special treat for Josh, Cari is rewarded in the way that she doesn't expect. Not only is it hot, but it shows just how Josh feels about her.
This book is not meant for anyone under the age of 18 or those easily offended. It's a hot and wild ride for this couple and I can't wait to see what comes next!

This is a new collaboration between two authors that I love reading. They hit it out of the park with this short, hot read. I love how Josh and Cari have been married for over 10 years, and are still happy and love to keep their love life adventurous. This novella takes you on one of those adventures with them. You will be needing a change of panties and your significant other home to have some fun in the car after reading this. You have been warned. I can't wait to read more of their adventures.

I have a special place in my heart for Rene Folsom's books, and this collaboration fits right in! I loved it! Josh and Cari keep the intacmy and fun alive after 10 years of marriage and I think that is great for every married couple! It was a steamy, panty wetting read and I can't wait to read the next adventure :)

LOVED this! I love a good novel that has a married couple. I feel like they can be some of the hardest novels to write because sometimes you lose the "chase" that we all love in romance novels. That is not the case here. Juli and Rene wrote a fantastically HOT read that leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!
Cari and Josh have been married for over a decade and it hasn't tampered their love for each other in the slightest. This couple is the definition of HOT in this short read. It lives up to its title for sure. The scenes in this book? Goodness they were steamy. This story follows a night in the lives of this couple that leaves you breathless and giggling. It is a great combination. I just feel in love with them. I need more!

A fantastic collaboration between 2 authors. I am a huge Rene Folsom fan and would read anything of hers in a heartbeat, but I had never come across any of Juli Valenti's work before and I was amazed at who well they had managed to combine their writing as it all meshed so well together.
As always this is another superb short story which will be part of a series of short books. The characters are well written and easy to connect with, and there is enough detail to be sucked in despite it being short. Cari and Josh have been married for twelve years but refuse to let there relationship turn stale and keep things 'Adventurous'. I and many readers out there are in hope that our relationships can be this adventurous after 12 years of marriage! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series holds in store for Cari and Josh.

The rush of getting caught in the act. The fun of doing something that you shouldn't be doing. This is Cari and Josh's story of their spur of the moment adventurous act.
We've been there, hell, I have many of times. Loving and being attracted to your spouse, throwing caution to the wind, when your body say 'NOW!' The fact that you can get caught, get into trouble and maybe being watched, just makes it even more fun.

Adventurous is an erotic short story done by the combined efforts of Authors Rene Folsom and Juli Valenti, the beginning in the Favorite Things series of shorts.
As a short story, there’s not much I can say that won’t give away the plot. What I can say is that this is chalk full of steamy goodness. Erotica galore, would be the best way to describe this little gem! Rene Folsom and Juli Valenti have come together to push the limits of how far the blush of a reader could go, and have done a terrific job in doing so.
I am extremely excited to see how the rest of this short story series goes, as I’m sure each story will be just as fantastic as this one! Authors Rene Folsom and Juli Valenti have created a joyous world, and I can’t wait to see what happens next in it!

They like to spice it up and when the opportunity arrives, they take it, they are enjoying time together at the racers when they get to the point when they just can't keep their hands off each other. I love the way they describes the intense feeling and excitement of being at Nascar however when she starts to scribe the relationship between this married couple, damn it gets hot, hotter than the hot summer. Loved it! Well as usual this author did not disappoint. This was a great quick read. I loved how it wasn't about a couple who just realized they were in love but instead about a couple who've been married for a while and still have all the lust they had in the beginning. Not all couples keep the lust sometimes life gets in the way. It's good of the author to show couples that there is the possibility of maintaining the passion and spontaneity in the relationship. i loved how they acted like randy teenagers. Can't wait to read what they come up with next.

Adventurous is a great sexy short story. I have been a fan of Rene Folsom for quite some time but this is my first read with Juli Valenti and what a great team.
This was a short, steamy read in the Favorite Things series and I truly enjoyed it. I don't want to give anything away so I am not going to say anything about the story content. Just know that this is a short story that I would recommend to anyone who likes a steamy short story.

I loved this book and the whole idea of keeping the romance and the passion alive in a settled marriage.
If you are looking for "straight forward" erotica this isn't quite it. What is, is passionate, these characters know each other and aren't fucking so much as making love and finding a new depth for themselves.
As a married woman I found this book tackled the issue of "what now?" what do we do when we have been together so long we are settled in. can't wait for more from this team.

This was a quick steamy read. Very erotic. Super hot sex scene between a couple who have been together for a while but still have an enormous appetite for each other sexually. Great love story and chemistry with these characters. Can't wait for more adventurous stories about Cari and Josh!!!!

What I loved about this book is that although Josh and Cari have been married for over a decade they are still madly in love. I like that they don't mind showing it wherever they are. The fact that they find different ways to add spice to their lives make me want to go out and purchase a truck. Don't know what that last statement means...read this book. It is a quick read full of a LOT of content.

~SPONTANEOUS & SPICY~
I was pretty excited to see what this collaboration between these two authors would bring us. Let me just say, it was spontaneous and steamy!! I have read many things by Rene Folsom and she NEVER disappoints. I was very impressed with what Juli Valenti added to this erotic short story.
I could definitely relate to this couple and all of the years they have been married. Keeping it real and edgy is what keeps the spice alive and love going strong. This story reminded me of how good it can truly be to act on your impulses and let the daring side take over once in a while.
I now have a list of my own FAVORITE THINGS and YES, I intend on having my husband and I fulfill every single one of them! ;)

You should definitely check out this first book in the new series collaboration between Rene Folsom and Juli Valenti! This is a book about a couple who has been married for quite a few years which is refreshing to read. It is good to know that even though they have been married so long their sex life is still adventurous. This is a hot, erotic book. The writing is done very well, too.

Quick hot read that's relatable to everyday people since we can't all be billionaire motorcycle riders but we can all attend a nascar race every now and then. And dream of being taken in the cab of a darkened pickup.
