The final book in the Hart County series! Expect spice, suspense, small-town charm, and all the feels!
I write suspenseful romance with pulse-pounding danger, fun & flirty banter, and tons of heart (plus spice!). Both a Californian and a Texan in my past, I now live in the Colorado mountains with my family.

Homeward Colorado is the fifth book in the Hart County series. The compelling final book offers a gripping conclusion focused on the complex relationship between Grayden O'Neil and Piper Landry. It's a standalone and rewards readers with complex family dynamics, especially the mystery surrounding the oldest O'Neil sibling. Offers a poignant ending to the Hart County series and a satisfying happy ending for Piper and Grayden. It's ideal for readers looking for an emotional, intense small-town romance with suspense and well-developed characters. Homeward Colorado is romantic and suspenseful, with a gritty and raw tone that keeps readers hooked.
Grayden O'Neil returns to Hart County, carrying the burden of ten years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Known in the series as the "infamous older brother" who suddenly vanished, his return is driven by a strong desire for reconciliation and a second chance with his estranged family. Beneath his troubled exterior and the town’s prejudice lies a loyal and honorable man whose dedication to love and family becomes the key to his journey of healing. His commitment to honesty and determination to rebuild his life spark a powerful transformation. Piper Landry, best friend of Grayden’s younger sister Grace and owner of Silver Linings Coffee, is a strong and resilient character. As a single mother and successful business owner, Piper has built an independent life shaped by past romantic disappointments, including a difficult divorce and neglect from her parents. She avoids serious relationships, preferring simple connections, yet secretly admires Grayden since childhood. Her initial caution and natural compassion make her the perfect person to help Grayden heal. The relationship between Grayden and Piper begins with visible attraction and an initial interest in a fling. However, it deepens as they confront their past and present struggles. Grayden’s respectful attitude and fierce protectiveness toward Piper and her son, Ollie, help break down her walls. His caring nature reveals the tenderness and support she desperately needs. That's not to say they don't face challenges. Grayden’s past and the town’s divided views create obstacles, as does the current danger surrounding them. Meanwhile, Piper struggles with her fear of vulnerability and commitment, while Grayden battles the trauma of his past and fears losing his new life and connections. The author skillfully weaves these personal struggles into a compelling narrative, showing how their mutual support and growing love empower them to face any danger together. The romance combines heat and heart and is filled with playful banter and touching moments. Grayden and Piper's story shows the power of second chances—a chance for Piper to find true love, and for Grayden to seek redemption, family, and a future with someone he deeply cares for. The romance intertwines seamlessly with the family drama and suspense, making their fight for a future together resonate strongly.
“Fear will lie to you, babe. But your heart tells the truth. Listen to it.”
Absolute perfection!! The emotions! The tension! The spice! The swoon! Not to mention the family dynamics, the suspense, the plot twists! Simply incredible!!
Grayden O'Neal: The mysterious bad boy brother who served 10 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and had been estranged from his family.
Guilt. Shame. Anger. Secrets. Redemption.
At his core, Grayden was a good man just looking for a chance to start over and prove himself, to try to do the right thing and reconcile with his family.
Piper Landry: The woman who swore she would never fall in love again, the wild girl, not willing to risk getting her heart broken. It was absolutely beautiful to see someone so relationship averse open her heart to love. I admired how everything she did was because of Ollie. The unconditional love they shared was undeniable.
Ollie, the nine-year-old bundle of chaos who only wanted his mom to be happy. Brave and honest, sweet and thoughtful, with such a big personality and a heart full of love. I adored him with my whole heart!
“That’s the thing about love. It actually makes complicated things seem really simple.”
I loved how Grayden was Piper's grounding force, how she was his strength. The way they fell for each other, slowly, then all at once. How Piper never judged Grayden for the mistakes of his past. How he never gave up on her. How he protected Piper and Ollie without so much as a second thought.
What would you do to protect someone you care about to keep them from getting hurt? What would you risk? What would you give up?
Homeward Colorado is a story about forgiveness and second chances. Building a foundation of trust. Love and acceptance. Hope and new beginnings. It was sweet and heartwarming, emotional and intimate, messy and complicated, but, ultimately, a story of not letting your past define you and opening yourself up to take a chance on love. Reaching for something you never even dared to dream of.
“When we reach out for something, when we make that leap and open our hearts, we might not get there. The person we’re reaching for might not reach back. We might fall. But the part where we take the risk? That’s when we’re most alive. That’s the moment we can fly.”

Homeward Colorado Hart County Series, Book 5 Hannah Shield
Grayden and Piper
Book 5, the last of the series…Boo! The whole series we have read about the infamous older brother, Grayden. It has been years since anyone had heard from him and the siblings are not happy about it. But as the series progresses, we learn a little more about Grayden. Let’s make the connections first; Grayden, Ashford, Callum and Grace are siblings, as are Teller and Piper. Teller best friends with the guys, Piper best friends with Grace. Now adults, everyone except Piper is married or in a happy relationship. Grace’s husband Dane had found Grayden back in their book, and Grace and Callum have been speaking with Gray. But Ash wants no part of it, still bitter about the situation. But up until this point, none of them know what really happened to Gray. And now Gray is back, ready to explain, and wanting his family back together. But it will not be an easy road.
Piper is very thankful for her close relationship with her brother Teller, and their friends. They have been a lot of help, especially after her divorce and raising Ollie. Piper is shocked when Gray returns to town. She has held a secret about him, even from her bestie Grace. Then she finds herself offering to help him. But with Gray’s return and past and her trouble ex, this small town is full of drama and chaos.
I knew Gray’s story would be amazing. My heart hurts for him. All of these stories are so good and love how everything came together. I enjoyed reading all of them, very exciting, entertaining, engrossing, and just overall amazing! So…I don’t love that this is it, the series is over but look forward to whatever Hannah Shield writes next!
The final of the Hart County (Lonely Hearts) series and this might possible be my favorite. For the last four books we have heard about Grayden O'Neil, the oldest O'Neil sibling who after a short military career, had served 10 years in prison for manslaughter and then disappeared. The family wound though a decade later is still felt fresh and bleeding.
Grayden is now back in Hart County, determined to rebuild his relationships with his siblings in whatever capacity they will allow. His one promise is that he will answer any question directly asked of him honestly. He both wants them to ask about that night that sent him to prison and also is terrified of it. The town of course has mixed feelings about ruggedly handsome tattooed former prisoner being back and Grayden gets his fair share of prejudice.
The one person who seems to want to give him a chance is Piper. His little sisters' best friend. Piper is 30, a single mom, business owner and single member of the Will-Never-Fall- In- Love or Commit - To -Anyone Club. She wants uncomplicated hook ups with no attachments. And she definitely wants Grayden. She ends up renting him her childhood house.
I absolutely loved Grayden and Piper's chemistry. The way he treated her with respect, loved Ollie and just wanted to care for her. My heart melted into a puddle a few times.
Of course with any Hart County book, there is always something sinister going on in the plot. Grayden has secrets and Piper discovers a few of her own. I finished this book in 1 day and I can't wait to re-read it. I'm sad the series is over, but it was a fantastic way to end it!
So sad that this is the last book in the Hart County Series. I have thoroughly enjoyed the O'Neal's and Landry's that it breaks my heart that it is ending. However I am so glad that Grayden and Piper got their HEA. Piper is a single mom to Ollie, sister of Teller Landry (was Grayden's best friend) and best friend to Grace (Grayden's little sister) and the last remaining member of the Lonely Harts Club. She had a crush on Grayden back in high school but with the age difference and the fact that he was Grace's older brother - nothing could come of it. Grayden went into the military and during that time was convicted of a crime that he didn't commit. He has now served his time and is wanting to get back to his family, but they (Ashford, Callum and Grace) have had a hard time with his absence since he basically stopped communicating with them after the events unfolded.
Piper and Grayden reacquainted themselves with one another when Grayden comes into town on Thanksgiving. Grayden falls fast and hard for the strong, independent, feisty, spirited, but also vulnerable woman that Piper is. Piper has reservations on love due to her ex-husband and old wounds from her parents, that she had vowed to never give her heart away again. Grayden becomes protective of Piper when she and her son are threatened, but that could cost him his freedom due to his past.... Their love story is of true second chances. Piper's second chance at LOVE and Grayden's second chance at a LIFE with his family and the woman he has fallen in love with.
Thank you so much Luna Literary and Hannah Shield for the ARC.
Thanks to Hannah Shield for the gifted copy of this book — all opinions are my own.
What to expect: Small town, coffee-shop owner FMC, tattoo artist MMC, he falls first, brother's ex-best friend, best friend's older brother, romantic suspense, single mom, dual POV, found family, family secrets
Wow, wow, wow. I seriously love Grayden and Piper. Grayden is working to win back his family after he made mistakes in the past, when he reconnects with Piper, who has sworn off dating and relationships for the foreseeable future. Only problem is, Piper had a huge crush on Grayden when she was younger. Now older, more mature, and healing from their separate pasts, the two find comfort in each other as they navigate some mysterious situations together. Add in playful banter, tons of spice, and a suspense element and I was absolutely hooked.
I could not put this book down and I loved every bit of it. The pacing is perfect with tons of detail. The supporting characters - Grayden's siblings and Piper's son Ollie especially, really add a lot to the story. Glad we got to see some of Ava and Teller in this book. The last 25% of the book had me invested and I had no idea what would be coming next with the mystery/suspense. Definitely a page turner and a very good one at that!
Overall, I highly recommend this book. Hannah's writing style is top notch and she has become one of the author's I auto-buy. This book really kept me wondering what would happen next with the suspense/mystery piece, but also had me kicking my feet and giggling with the romance as well. So sad that this series has come to an end, but very exciting to read more from Hannah Shield in the future!
I’ve been waiting for Grayden O’Neil’s story throughout this series, and I’m so glad it finally arrived. There’s so much emotion and hope woven into this book that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Of course, once I finished, I wished I had slowed down and savored it a bit more.
Grayden returns to Hart County on Thanksgiving to see his family, and the reunion goes… about as expected, if not as hoped. He has a long road ahead if he wants to rebuild what was once there. He’s also reacquainted with Piper Landry, and because his sister Grace is Piper’s best friend, she’s determined to help him however she can.
I loved the slow, steady build of trust and affection between Grayden, Piper, and Piper’s son, Ollie. Ollie’s hesitation to accept Grayden felt both sweet and fiercely protective of his mom. As their relationship deepens, so does the suspense, with mysterious events surrounding Grayden and Piper. Ms. Shield expertly builds tension and momentum, and the twists she delivers genuinely caught me off guard.
When the truth finally comes to light about the night and events that sent Grayden to military prison for ten years, it feels both freeing and heartbreaking. Hannah Shield wrote the reveal so beautifully that I had to pause more than once just to allow my emotions to settle as Grayden’s family learned how far he went to protect and support them. It was a powerful, emotional moment—and exactly what I’ve come to expect from her writing. I’m so sorry to be leaving Hart County, but I can’t wait to see where Ms. Shield takes us next.
This book had everything I look for in a romance--danger, family, and a great hero. I love an alpha male, and Grayden absolutely fit that description. He was possessive, protective, and extremely masculine. His character was a highlight of the novel for me. He fell hard and fast for Piper, and I liked that he never hid or questioned his feelings. He and Piper had a passionate, supportive relationship. While Grayden's past was tragic and an integral part of the storyline, it didn't make the book depressing. The story had emotional depth without being dark or heavy.
There was just enough suspense to keep things interesting, and there were some solid damsel-in-distress moments while still allowing Piper to be a strong character. It was also sweet how protective Ollie was of his mom. I really enjoyed the other side characters as well, and the family feel of the novel was very tender. If I had any criticism, it would be that there was occasionally too much exposition or internal monologue. Deleting some of this would've made the book a bit shorter and kept the pace tighter.
Overall, this was a sweet, exciting, and intensely romantic story with a very satisfying and happy ending. I highly recommend it, even to those who haven't read the previous books in the series. *I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.*
Homeward Colorado is the perfect final book in the Hart County series by Hannah Shield. Homeward Colorado focuses on Grayden O'Neal and Piper Landry/Carmichael. Grayden is a tattooed ex-con with a heart of gold. Grayden returns to Silver Ridge to make amends with his family after shutting them out when he went to prison. Piper is the founder and (now only) member of the Lonely Harts Club. After the hurt caused by her lousy ex-husband, Piper is focused on being the best single mom to her son, Ollie, and running Silver Linings Coffee.
Grayden and Piper's love story is the second chance they both deserve after everything they have been through. I love that Grayden is a tattoo artist and that he falls first. He's there for Piper through everything and his interactions with Ollie are so sweet. Piper's protective side is exactly what Grayden needs, and she shows him his worth every time she stands up for him. Grayden and Piper are my favorite Lonely Hart Club couple and Homeward Colorado was my favorite of the series.
I highly recommend reading Homeward Colorado. This second-chance romantic suspense has all the best tropes of small town, single mom, brother’s ex-best friend, best friend’s brother, he falls first, and woman in danger. This book wraps up the O'Neal and Landry families in a great way and shows that everyone deserves a second chance.
I don’t know what Hannah Shields put in this book, but I literally could not put it down. I read it in under 12 hours. This book didn’t just pull me in… it yanked me right out of my slump.
I already adored the Hart County series, but this one? It just solidified me as a full-on Hannah Shields fan even more.
Piper and Grayden were everything. Piper is a single mom doing her absolute best while dealing with a deadbeat ex, and Grayden—her best friend’s older brother—has this layered, complicated. They’ve known each other for years, and watching their relationship evolve felt so natural, so effortless. There’s something really special about a love story where two people don’t just fall—they heal together.
Grayden’s backstory absolutely wrecked me. Fifteen years ago, he went to prison for 10 years and the way that history unfolds made you root for Grayden even more. It added a whole new layer to everything we thought we knew.
And Ollie—Piper’s son—completely stole my heart. He’s protective, sweet, and still so clearly a 9-year-old boy.
This book is about second chances, healing, and learning how to show up—for yourself and for the people you love. It’s emotional without being overwhelming, tender without being cheesy, and just… so addicting.
I seriously cannot recommend this enough. Do yourself a favor and pick up this series—you won’t regret it.
Homeward Colorado – Hart County #5 by Hannah Shield
This book grabbed my attention from page one and never let go. Piper, a single mom to nine‑year‑old Ollie, and Grayden, the long‑estranged O’Neal brother, make for an unforgettable pairing in one of the best romantic suspense installments I’ve ever read.
Grayden’s return after serving time for pleading guilty to killing another soldier brings a depth and complexity that immediately sets this story apart. The way his absence fractured the O’Neal siblings felt painfully real—Callie and Grace welcome him home with open arms, while Ashford’s hurt runs much deeper. I actually found myself wishing for even more scenes between Grayden and his siblings because every interaction carried so much emotional weight.
Piper and Grayden’s relationship is a true slow burn in the best way. They take their time, get to know each other, and build something honest—no secrets, no shortcuts. Their connection feels earned, tender, and rooted in trust.
The characters are incredibly well‑developed, the plot has real substance, and the themes of forgiveness and second chances shine throughout. I couldn’t put this book down. Hannah Shield delivers a story that’s gripping, emotional, and beautifully written.
One of the strongest romantic suspense series I’ve read, and this installment might just be my favorite.
This is the final story in this series, and it definitely doesn't disappoint. Piper and her son Ollie have a normal life in Hart County. Piper works hard at her bakery, whilst bringing her son up alone. Her ex isn't the most reliable father, always letting his son down. But her friends were her family now, they'd always been close since childhood living across the road and are still as close today. Well except for her secret crush Grayden. But he'd left and had his own life now in Seattle. Grayden couldn't believe he'd actually returned to Colorado hoping to rebuild his family. He'd made mistakes but hopefully he'd prove he deserved a second chance. He never expected to see Grace's best friend who'd grown into a gorgeous woman. But secrets he kept hidden were eating away at him, he has to tell his family the truth. However the truth isn't always easy to take and he'd hurt his family enough. Then finding your other half made you take a leap of faith. Can Piper ever believe in love again. Or will a long hidden secret risk everything. I knew Grayden's story was going to be a great conclusion to this series. I never expected this thrilling spicy story and Wow it worth the wait. I loved everything about this series and look forward to reading more from the author
I loved this one. This was my first Hannah Shield book and now I definitely want to go back and read the rest of the series. It had everything I enjoy—small town, a bit of suspense, strong family dynamics, and a really solid romance. Grayden was exactly my type of MMC. protective, a little possessive, and very sure of his feelings. I loved that there was no back and forth with him—once he was in, he was all in, especially when it came to Piper and her son. Piper was also easy to root for. she’s independent and guarded, but still lets herself be vulnerable in a way that felt realistic. their relationship felt steady and supportive, not overly dramatic, which I really appreciated. the suspense added a nice layer without taking over the story, and the small town/family aspect made everything feel warm and grounded. I read this in a day and didn’t want to put it down. definitely one I’d recommend if you like protective heroes and emotional but not overly heavy romances 🖤
Oh, Grayden O’Neal 💔 my heart broke for this man and his story! I cried, I laughed, I gasped and kicked my little feet! I read this book as a stand-alone, and now I’m desperate to read the rest of the interconnected series.
I really liked Piper. She’s a hard working, positive minded, single mum who has given up on love due to her past. She’s focussed on her son, her friends and her business. And I could relate to that! Grayden has a very complicated past, full of secrets and strife. Yet he’s emotionally open and protective. He’s tall and bearded and a tattoo artist. Tick, tick, tick!
They are 🔥 together…. Oh those scenes. Perfection! We love a piercing 😏
miscommunication trope frustrates me. However, in this story, it was necessary! It was actually okay, and it gave so much more depth to the story.
This was is a delightful ARC that hit all the right notes for a cozy escape. As book 5 in the Hart County series, it wraps up emotional threads with sweetness I hadn't realized I craved.
Piper's life as a single mom running Silver Linings Coffee radiates warmth—think treehouses, Thanksgiving feasts, and puns amid small-town gossip. Grayden's return as the brooding-but-gentle tattoo artist (Piper's longtime crush and her bestie's brother) sparks tender tension without overcomplicating things. Their slow-burn romance, Ollie's feisty arc, and O'Neal family healing deliver pure comfort.
It was a short, sweet escapism—the ideal breather from my usual dark reads. No gritty anti-heroes here; just protector vibes, found family, and holiday nostalgia balancing light suspense. If you need cutesy small-town bliss with heart, grab this ARC—it's a hug in book form.
I absolutely loved this and am so grateful to the author for the opportunity to receive this ARC!❤︎
This book begins with Grayden returning home to his family after not having any contact with them for 15 years. While it wasn't the welcome home he was hoping for he puts his best effort forth to mend those relationships. He is carrying so much throughout this book my heart was so heavy for him. Piper is the independent single mom to her son Ollie, she owns a bakery in Hart County. Her ex is a terrible father, constantly letting Ollie down. She's a little put off by love and commitment after dealing with her ex. Grayden has always been her teenage crush so when he comes back shes thrown off, everything she thought she didn't want anymore ends up changing. I loved how protective Grayden was over her and also his relationship with Ollie. Their relationship felt so stable and mature!
Tropes: small town single mom sister's bff tattoo artist woman in danger
Piper has done the best for her and her son, she gives out too much love and receives it back as well she’s had the best support system. While her childhood was difficult and lacked loved from the ones that were suppose to give it she still grew up to have a big heart. Grayden is building up the courage to finally get his family back. With so much pain in his past he’s read to go back home and live a simple life. Piper becomes something he never thought he would have. Someone who saw him, understood him and brought out a light that no one has ever been able to do.
The twist at the end had me SHOCKED. The connections between every single character with the MMCs had a strong emotion. Joy, anger even confusion between them which I love to see. And it was so valid for them all to have these emotions, even the ugly ones. Ollie was so cute and sweet to his mother, his protectiveness was what won me over, despite his own struggle all he wants is a real smile on him mommy’s face
I was completely captivated! Oh, don’t mind me over here dodging my adult responsibilities while I immerse myself in this incredible book!
This fantastic read is the fourth installment in the series. If you've been following along, you know it's Piper's story, a member of the Lonely Hart Club, alongside Grayden, the enigmatic brother.
Piper is a divorced single mother who will do anything for her son, Ollie, who is a very mature nine-year-old. She has been struggling with her ex-husband, and Ollie is beginning to notice that his dad doesn’t keep his promises.
As for Grayden, it's been fifteen years since he last saw his family. While he has received calls from Grace and Callum, nothing compares to the experience of seeing them in person. Perhaps it's finally time for a reunion...
I can't believe the Hart County series is at an end! I became HOOKED at book one and I'm now so sad it's over.
Grayden and Piper deserved this happily ever after SO MUCH. After everything they both went through in life to get where they are, I was so happy for the both of them.
Grayden has so much standing in his way of getting his family back together, but he is determined to show up every day until they (aka Ashford) is willing to listen.
Piper is determine to protect her heart after a lifetime of disappointment. She's going to focus on raising her little boy and showing up for her friends and family. That is until her teenage crush shows up and he's showing her that opening her heart back up wouldn't lead to disappointment with him.
It’s always sad when a series ends, but Hannah wrote a fabulous story with this series finale. Grayden finally returns home but doesn’t exactly get a warm welcome from everyone in town. Piper the bright light and last remaining member of the Lonely Harts Club offers Grayden, her teenage crush, a helping hand, and the rest as they say is history. Grayden and Piper’s story delivered in spades, the push and pull of raw emotion, the danger, drama, old resentments and some sordid family secrets, the hot romance, and well timed humour. Thanks to the author and Luna Literary for the opportunity to read and review her work.
Enjoyable last installment in the Hart County series. This one features ex-con Grayden who is the best friend of Piper’s brother. I really like that many of the characters from the previous books make an appearance in this novel. Piper is the last of the ‘lonely Harts’ group – all the others have paired off and Piper is struggling to bring up her adorable son and avoiding her loser ex. Grayden returns to town to reunite with his estranged family. I really liked the edge of danger in this story, partly involving Piper’s ex who seems to turn up at every turn. An enjoyable and exciting read with a lovely HEA.
I was so drawn to this book and the more I got into it, the harder it was to put down. Grayden made me love him from the start, and that only grew with how well he treated Piper and Ollie. I loved how supportive Piper was despite Grayden’s past, and how she helped him reconnect with his siblings.
The suspense part of this book kept me guessing. I had a couple guesses, but none were quite right, and I LOVE when that happens. Hannah did such a great job at making you really think who the bad person would be, and I was on the edge of my seat for the reveal.
Thank you to Hannah and Luna Literary for the ARC!!
I can’t believe that the series has come to an end. It’s such a bittersweet moment. I’m sad but I’m also so happy with the way that it ended! Knowing that Grayden got his redemption and everything he’s ever wanted in life makes my heart so happy. Also knowing that Piper found someone to love her and ollie unconditionally no matter what also makes me happy. The plot twists in this book are just as good as all the others but seeing everyone come together in this and becoming a family again is such a bittersweet moment that would make anyone extremely happy! God Hannah’s writing is so good I can’t wait to see what she does next!
Thank to Hannah Shield and Luna Literary Management for the ARC of Homeward Colorado. I fell in love with the O'Neal siblings and the broken Hart club clear back in Starcrossed Colorado with Ashford and Emma. The journey to Piper and Grayson took forever but it was well worth the wait. I knew Grayson being a tortured soul would mean he hurt me the most. His story was one that needed to be told and let me tell you I am glad I got to read it. The plot twist threw me and made the last bit of the story speed up. Sad to see the series come to an end but loved the journey it took me on. Over all 4.5 stars.
Enjoyed the story. Piper is a single mother with a son, Ollie and has a loser of an ex. She had a crush on Grayden when she was a teen. Grayden knows that coming home was going to be hard because of his past, but he willing to be patience. He has an attraction for Piper and is willing to keep quiet. When Piper first sees Grayden, she knows that it will be hard to keep her promise to herself, that she would never fall in love again. There is drama, danger, tangled emotions and a happy ending. I loved reading this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I’m so sad that this series is over! I don’t know that I could pick a favorite from the series, but Homeward Colorado is definitely in the running. This book felt so emotional to me. My heart really went out to Grayden; he was just dealing with so much and seemed so dejected for a lot of the book. I adored him with Piper, though, and I’m so happy they got their HEA! The spice was perfect, as was the suspense, as usual. This book was a great ending to a great series.
I received a copy of Homeward Colorado from BookSirens and I am voluntarily sharing my review.
I absolutely devoured this book and found myself completely immersed in the emotions from start to finish. The characters were so richly layered, and by the end, I truly felt like I knew each of them. Piper and Grayden had undeniable chemistry, it was completely electric. With his past as her brother’s best friend and her long-held teenage crush, their story was filled with tension, history, and heart. Add in the second-chance element after years apart, and it made for a romance I couldn’t get enough of.
Book 5 of Hart County story of Grayden and Piper. OMG that was deep and with a few twists thrown in. I will say the story had me biting my nails a few times, the cop sure did have it in for Grayden. I jumped for joy at the way Piper protected not only her son but Grayden too. The drama was intense and page turning. But it’s Grayden’s story that will have you wanting to cry and hug him. I loved this story and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Homeward Colorado will fill your heart with warmth from the very start. Grayden will burrow right into your heart and stay—you’ll love his honesty and determination to do right and be better. Piper brings all the sass and will have you laughing out loud, while Oliver completely steals hearts with his adorable maturity. Both families provide a strong foundation of love and support that holds everything together beautifully. Meanwhile, danger simmers in the background, building to a high point that has you holding your breath. A truly well-earned HEA!
