Attended my first Malice Domestic convention (amazing), and picked up this anthology along with numerous books. *I have the paperback, but only the kindle edition appeared here.

I really enjoyed this collection. My favorite's were:

"Dirty Deeds" by Donna Andrews

"The Ladder Runs Both Ways" by Gregory Meece

"Boss Cat Rules" by Nicki Knight

"Polly Wants a Freakin Cracker" by Sylvia Maultash Warsh

"A Pandemonium of Parrots" by Suzanne Flaig

"The Sweet Fern and the Juniper" by P.J. Nelson

"That Darn Dog" by Patricia Gouthro
and

"The Book" by Steve Shrott

Great selection of humorous short mystery stories from various authors. The stories have various settings and sleuths. Some have amateur sleuths, some are police procedurals, some have a paranormal twist, etc., but they are all traditional mystery stories that are 5,000 words or less.
