Interesting information given on how to calculate calories burned when walking. I have never came across the actual calculations before. In addition, honest if somewhat hurtful to some people the facts behind why fad diets don't work and the importance of eating healthy and how some athletes do it. Last but not least journaling your progress and how to do it.

An interesting side note: Walking barefoot is better than being in the expensive name brand "better for you" shoes.

A good beginning read of the benefits and opportunities of developing a daily walking exercise program. The information is presented in a concise, knowledgeable style that will enable you to immediately begin your walking for a healthier lifestyle. I recommend this book for beginners, moderate and serious walkers who desire to bring their walking game to the next level.

It isa Swift, enjoyable read with many useful tips to immediately incorporate into your walking program. Read it and get moving today.

An excellent basic book on walking

This short easy read lays out the reason to walk then how to walk and then how to track it. This gives you an excellent foundation to get into walking.

Just another walking book

This was a very quick read (short book), but there was some good info included. There were a few facts given by the author that I questioned (skip breakfast?), and a lot of antidotal evidence given. I would only recommend this book to someone who has done no reading on walking or nutrition as it would make a good intro to the subject.
