Η θεωρία του wine bar

Rate this book

Reading Wine Bar Theory felt like cracking open one of those unforgettable Phaidon books from my college days back in 2014.

It’s as if David Gilbertson tapped into the same spirit of creative brilliance that made my late-night study sessions and caffeine-fueled debates so memorable.

If you ever found yourself lost in the vivid imagery and bold insights of Phaidon’s work, this book will instantly transport you back to that era of endless possibilities and intellectual excitement.

Also, Gilbertson’s writing is refreshingly concise. In a world where verbosity often clouds true insight, his style is like that perfect glass of wine: potent, full of flavor, and without any unnecessary fluff.

This is a great book for everyone who's in their reading slump or in a state where you are about to start a business. It will help you a lot.

This book contains short chapters of the Author's lessons or tips about how to convert your business / working attitude into one that doesn't exhaust you. The idea is to run your business and still have time to go to the Wine Bar at the end of the day.

They are concepts that you can take literally into your daily life. Smart and true.

Quite a funny read. Those who have had business / entrepreneurial background and have worked with subordinates before would totally relate to most chapters.

It's a very short business/self-help book with a few good tips. It'll take you 2 hours IF you stop and write down the good advice, so it's definitely time better spent than some other books would be.

The book shares 28 rules to make you, the owner or manager of the business, celebrate yourself with your team for the success of business in the wine bar faster. The rules are simple, but not easy to do. Starting from asking simple question, cut smart cost, select the best people, promote from within, be big with resources but act small, say sorry to improve whenever you can, and enjoy.

Simple, funny, more mindset then hands on. But the basic premise is good. Work hard, do well, do it right the first time, earn yourself time, and then enjoy that time.
