Things start to fall in place for the Designer clan. Ronan gets his girl, Claire gets a horse, and the entire group gets a contract with the U.S. government. They've finally found their Designer niche where their unique skills can be fully appreciated in dangerous undercover missions. For Ronan Callahan, it's a Shangri-la life full of love, challenge, and adventure. But then he loses his only anchor and his entire world spirals out of control. The Designers are learning that the foundation of everything in existence is energy. While wealthy parents were looking to genetically enhance the traits they perceived would guarantee their child's success, an enlightened scientist was altering their DNA to guarantee success for the entire human race. A special synthetic strand of DNA is used on the Golden GEM to unlock the dormant pineal gland, thus opening the gateway to the supreme super-conscious mind where the ability to utilize energy is boundless. If successful, it could mean the beginning of the Golden Age for humanity. It's just the type of genetic enhancement that has a lot of powerful people in a quandary over whether to kill the Designers or try to control them.
Who I am: I am a Registered Nurse, wife and mother of two amazing daughters. I think and act like an entrepreneur-an authorpreneur! I take full responsibility for my actions, and I love other people who are fully accountable for themselves. I make a conscientious effort to think deliberately-striving for positive and empowering thoughts in every situation. I am a novelist who believes in writing stories that incorporate aspects of spiritual science. I am spiritual, not religious. I am grateful most of the time, but feel crummy when I'm not. I strive to be fair and objective. I come to my own conclusions.
Who I am not: I am not perfect. I am not fully who I intend to become. I am not drawn to negativity. I am not coddling. I am not afraid to speak my mind, but often choose paths that lead to states of harmony versus disharmony, which lead some people to believe that I am passive. I am not passive (especially when I believe strongly in something). I am not a conformist (just read my books and you will see). I am not insecure about much.

Elle Davis has done it once more. She brought everything to the table and it worked. The book was AMAZING. Ronan and Cat are so perfect for each other! Just from the beginning you see their chemistry and how perfect they are for each other. Near the end you find out that this might be because of science BUT their love is REAL. There are so many twists and red herrings that you will never find out what it going to happen next. At the same time though you can't leave the book alone. You will keep thinking about it and keep coming back to see what happen next. As you get deeper into this book, the characters deepen too and you grow to love each and everyone of them. You feel when one of the characters betray one another or when the love each other. This book will make you cry, make you smile and make you mad. You should go read it and finish the entire series!!!!! GO READ THE BOOK, IT'S WORTH IT!!!!

Ronan Callahan and Cat McCullough, could there be a more perfect pairing?
When Ronan asks Cat to marry him, it seems like a dream come true for her. Finally she and her little sister Claire can get some much needed stability in their lives, right? Wrong. Way wrong.
After a deadly flying accident, Ronan must face the prospect of a future without his fiancée. How on Earth will he and the other Designers be able to move on? Sure he's a Designer blessed with incredibly good looks and supernatural abilities. But when you love someone from the core of your being, it's not always that simple to let them go.
While the other Designers are busy undergoing dangerous missions for the U.S. Government, personal tragedies begin to spring up left and right. What's going on? Is there a link between the Designers and these tragedies or is it all one big eerie coincidence?
Designed to Love takes Designed for Perfection and turns it completely upside down. You thought the first book was good? You'll absolutely fall in love with the second. There's drama, mystery, love, and anything else you could possibly want in a work of fiction. I certainly wasn't disappointed. In fact- I was pleasantly surprised. And I hope that you too can take something positive away from this book as well.
Just a short review, until the real deal gets posted tonight.
Elle Davis has done it again.
I am completely captivated by this series and couldn't ask for a better sequel. If you thought you loved the first book, then you will LOVE the second book "Designed to Love."
First off, Ronan was just so sweet but fucking crazy in this book. I HATED that he drank himself into a stupor. Like, NO. -___- GET YOUR ASS UP AND DO SOMETHING.
This second book, just progressed this series so much more. The characters were even more developed and the dialogue was long and wonderful. That one problem the first book had, there were NO long scenes between Ronan and Cat, but this book we got A LOT of them. Especially when they finally do the "do"
I highly recommend this series if you are a fan of the teenage romance and government corruptions!!
This is a new twist on the mysteries of DNA reconstruction. Being the second novel in the series, it started off well, and left me wanting more. Everyday problems are still alive and in full fling throughout the story. The love between Cat and Ronan is constantly tested, as well as the sisterhood between Cat and Claire. I can honestly say that this book had made my top 10, and now, I'm waiting for the announcement of when Elle Davis's third book is to be announced.
My 14 year old daughter and I actually read this book together. We both found it a unique concept for a story and well written. It's a great follow up to Book 1. The author had no difficulty in delivering an amazing story. Great imagery and use of language to convey emotion. My daughter and I are both looking forward to book 3!
I love the first book, Designed for Perfection almost as much as the second, Designed for love. The story picks right up without skipping a beat! I can't wait for the third book to come out! Elle Davis has a fantastic series here and I'll be anxiously waiting for the next!!! Great job!!
I enjoyed most of this book much like I did the first, there were a few parts that were a but drug out for me but all in all I liked it. The ending was a good place to stop to leave the reader wanting more and I'm interested to find out what happens to everyone. I will say that I would enjoy getting to know more about some of the other charcters vs always focusing on Ronan and Cat. Also the story line was starting to get pretty predictable so I hope there are more surprises in store for book 3.
*I RECEIVED THIS NOVEL IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW*
SPOILERS!
Designed to Love by Elle Davis is a fun, adventurous, interesting novel which captures the eye of reader instantly from the blurb. Since I finished Designed For Perfection, I have been eagerly waiting for the next novel to be released as I was quite excited how Elle Davis proceeded events from the ending of the previous novel. Elle Davis' elegant writing style very beautifully connected both novels together. I was very curious to hear Cat's response to Ronan's question and I was fully satisfied when I read the answer in Designed to Love. Elle Davis' 'Designed to Love', was a fun and adventurous novel leaving not a dull point in the book. I also adored how Ronan handled the shocking news of Cat. Drinking and turning to alcohol is a common habit when grieving over the loss of a loved one. When Ronan turned to alcohol many readers were mad but I felt that Elle Davis portrayed and illustrated a realistic image of how people behave over death. Also in this novel I felt Ronan and Cat's relationship was more mature and unique from other novels. Character development of Ronan was represented from the beginning to the end of the novel which made the novel even more interesting to read. Also learning that Cat was the GEM and not Claire was also quite interesting/ shocking. This one event turned the whole plot around and things started to get really interesting. Following Cat through her journey of discovering new talents was quite fun and also helped us relate to her character better. We started to understand Cat's feelings/ emotions making her easily relatable to. The idea of leaving cliffhangers after every novel is a magnificent idea as it keeps the suspense within readers and also the desire to continue reading the serious. Designed to Love was full of suspense and definitely was left off at a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next novel to be released as I am curious to see how certain events that were left unexplained in Designed to Love will come together for the finale of the chronicles. Following Cat, Ronan, Claire and the other Designers story in Designed to Love was an adventurous journey. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves Sci-Fi and Romance. I definitely would place this series in my top 10 favourite series of the year.
First, thank you to Elle Davis for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I’ve been a fan of her writing since “Designed for perfection” and I’m already looking forward to her next book!
Despite the fact that I felt like part of this book was a filler for the next installment I was sucked into the designer world once again. There is a lot of character growth & the storyline is well developed. We see a lot more of the abilities of the designers and get to meet new designers. We also learn more about the background stories of some secondary characters, which I truly liked. Too many authors underwrite the less important characters but I feel like giving them a strong background is actually really good for most stories.
As a fan of Cat I really enjoyed the fact that she’s learning a lot more about the designers but mostly about herself. I feel like she’s the character who grew up the most during this book and I’m looking forward to see what will happens to her next.
Ronan managed to surprise me. In the aftermath of the tragedy (can’t say more without spoiling anything) I wasn’t expecting him to react that way and so strongly. I think it made me like him even more, I could really connect with him and he felt more “human”.
This book keeps you guessing. There were so many twists and turns that were so unexpected that it kept me hooked through the whole book. The cliffhanger made me wish for the third book right away and I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment!!
I was very lucky that I won a copy of this book & got to read the first in the series on wattpad.
I really enjoyed the first book, but I found this one pulled me in even more.
There is a lot of character growth & the storyline is just awesome!! The relationship between Cat & Ronan really blossoms & becomes more mature. We see a lot more of the abilities of the designers & get to meet new designers. We learn more about Claire's abilities as the "supposed" GEM.
After a tragic accident Ronan goes into a total downward spiral. He doesn't feel he can go on. Cat is learning a lot more about the designers & herself. The designers start to do secret work for the US government instead of being hunted down.
We learn a lot more about the background characters in this book & once again I wonder if sometime down the road there may be spin off books based on the other characters/couples.
This book keeps you guessing. There were so many twist & turns that were so unexpected that it kept me hooked through the whole book. I absolutely loved the cliff hanger ending. It definitely keeps you wanting more of this story. Very much looking forward to the third installment!!
When Ronan asks Cat to marry him, it seems like a dream come true for her. Finally she and her little sister Claire can get some much needed stability in their lives, right? Wrong. Way wrong.

Designed for Love was full of just the right amount of drama, mystery and love; it's everything you could possibly want in a work of fiction.
If you thought Designed for Perfection was good, Designed to Love will be even better. Designed to Love takes Cat and Ronan's relationship deeper, but that does not mean a happily ever after. Tragedies are seemly centered around the Designers and Ronan is no exception.
I received this book as part of Goodreads First Reads giveaways.
While I thought this book had some great ideas, I found it a little difficult to follow from the beginning. I have not read the first book in this series which certainly would have made this book easier to get into from the beginning. I usually find constant references to previous books in a series a bit tedious, but now have seen a great example of why authors should do it.
We were introduced to Cat and Ronan and then very rapidly introduced to about 8 more characters, but without any reference as to how they knew each other or their relationships to each other. I also struggled to understand the references to other characters aura/energy colour, there was no explanation as to what each of colour meant (though I got the hang of by the end).
I think for me this book would have been better if I had read the first book in the series before this one. Overall it was a good book.
I thouroghly enjoyed this installment in Elle Davis's series. I loved the first book but found that I actually love this one more. First, the characters were explored more in-depth in this installment. They were more developed and the dialogue was more interesting. I think the biggest improvement was in the 'romance' aspect of the story. In the first book, the romance clips were often short and sometimes felt awkwardly placed. With "Love", the scenes seem to fit the story better and do not feel quite so awkward and short. I really enjoy the characters in Ms. Davis's stories and I cannot wait until the next book comes out. In addition to Ronan and Cat's relationship, I enjoy reading about Claire's progression and growth through the story. These books are the perfect blend of suspence, romance, humor, mystery, etc. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys any of these genres.
After reading the first book of The Designer Chronicles I knew it was going to be a hard wait until I would be able to read the second. I was very excited as soon as I was able to start reading the second.
Throughout the whole novel it kept me guessing as to what could happen next and it made for an interesting and engaging read (even over the busy holiday season). I love how the story involves huge, and exciting changes to the main characters' genetics but at the same time the ideas and relationships aren't so out there that it is hard to connect with the characters.
As soon as I got to the last page and read "END OF BOOK TWO" I know it will be hard for me to wait until the next book in the series is released. Overall, highly enjoyed both books so far in the series and would recommend it/ and have recommended it to others.
I received this book for honest review. Thank you Elle Davis.
I have read the first book Designed For Perfection and I loved it so I was so excited when the author sent me her second book Designed To love. This book was amazing. I love the storyline of this series. It was interesting learning more about the designers DNA. I just love Ronan, he is so sweet. It was heartbreaking what he went through in this book. This book was suspenseful, I was a nervous wreck while reading it. There are several twists and I can't wait till the next book comes out. I loved this book and I will recommend it to all of my friends.
She's done it again! Elle Davis has delivered another amazingly wonderful book! I loved every second of it! Well written, exciting and I had trouble putting down for even a second! I am on edge waiting impatiently for book three. This was a bit more of a cliff hanger than book one... leaving me more anxious for the next book in the series. I am a huge fan. I have found myself completely invested in the outcome of all of designer kids' lives not just Ronan, Cat, and Claire... and am aching to see how everything unfolds! Very talented author!
Read the first one and it seemed like forever before I could find the second. I am not an on line reader so I had to find the paperback.
I was more captivated by the second book. Some of the stuff is not my thing, thought a little far fetched. Then my Daughter said her work study student was upset because they are actually doing this crap in other countrys..scary but maybe truer than we think..
I think Elle has done it again only better! I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, but the second is even better. The depth of the characters made me feel as if already knew some of them. I stayed up all night to read this and couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the final book in this trilogy! I can seriously these books made into movies.
