Good intro read on Delta.

A nice introduction into SAS, the birth of Delta and general information. Would have enjoyed personal anecdotal stories and reference.

Really liked the insight into what it takes to be in a special forces group, incredible. There is a lot he can't say, but he still shares enough. I previously watched the TV series The Unit, which was based on this book. I enjoyed comparing the stories, people and themes from the book to how they were developed into a TV series. I especially liked the epilogue, specifically his views on the middle east conflicts. It is the most succinct and clear explanation of the history and what it would take to cure the plague of terrorism. I'm curious to find out if his views are supported by anyone else.

Warning - there is harsh language at times. Never by the author, but as quoted by others. I imagine it is incredibly mild compared to vulgarity that really existed. Just FYI.

Good and Quick

Good book easy read. It is high level overview of the delta force but gives enough detail to keep you entertained for the 30 minutes it will take you to read this book.
