All the Dead were Strangers is a really thriller… Detective Conrad Voort is back for his second in this series and this time he's tracking down the list of names his childhood friend gave him on a napkin just before that friend died in an 'accidental' fire.
I loved this book. The plot and storyline was a little scary, butt the characters were well developed. Lots of action and suspense, especially at the end. The main character definitely is a great character. A little mysterious but charming. His sidekick is great as well. Highly recommend.

my review: I had a little trouble staying with this book. I don't think it was the authors fault. I believe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind when reading this book. I was able to get a bit more excited about it as I struggled on. I liked the suspense of it and enjoyed the action.
In All the Dead Were Strangers by Ethan Black, the storyline is not simple at all, basically you have to read the book to understand all of the details.Through the plot events we see the authors message that you can never really understand what is going on with anything. We understand this through events such as The “accidents” that happen with the people on the list. An important quote is “ Well, I guess this means You can't really trust anybody Voort”. This book affected me in a very interesting way, and it changes many of my opinions and makes me question a lot of my own life. Conspiracy is an interesting topic because you can never actually Know if is true or not.
I have to admit I picked up this audio because...I'm in love with James Daniels' voice. This story about a police detective who investigates seemingly unconnected people on the request of a childhood friend was engaging, although I managed to lose interest at parts of it.
