Bishop is 28-year-old womanizer. Known for using his good looks and bomb sex to navigate his way into female’s lives, he always gets what he wants. Nevertheless, life has a way of slowing us down when we’re moving too fast. In Bishop’s case, her name is Genesis.

In this drama-filled standalone, the turbulence is at an all time high! When Bishop’s secrets come rushing out like a flood, will Genesis be able to weather the storm, or will she pack up her heart and evacuate? Find out More Than Just His Mistress.
Was Genesis’ son’s name Judy Winslow? Because how the hell did they introduce her son but he was never around. It was like he went upstairs and never came back? No lines, no mentions, nothing. She got Bishop’s two kids in her house and we don’t know where her son was. Stupid. Speaking of stupid, I got more.
Genesis was a dumb ass character with no character development. This man cheating on you, in YOUR HOME, and you welcome the kids he didn’t tell you about and then marry him?? Speaking of marriage, how did he marry Genesis when he was married to Bella? We need to hire more editors
Bishop was dumb. The title was dumb. How was it called Mistress when he was married to two women at the same time? Okay Frankie LYMON. How are these people in the game with no security detail?
Why did the first baby mama kidnap the second kid but let him go to the park? They out in public with a kid that was stolen? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
Bella. How don’t you know your husband is alive when y’all in the same damn city? SAME CITY?! And she begging a man to be with her?
Shay Money. That plot twist was stupid! Not thought out. She’s on Genesis’ dad’s payroll even though she tried to kill Genesis? Her dad didn’t know Genesis was married even though Shay reports to her dad and Shay knew? -sigh-
I got more. Legend, Promise and Bishop. Be original with these names. These names of those babies can be found in two popular series.
I got more and hopefully my notes and highlights appear
I went into this expecting a good read—the first chapter really pulled me in. But as the story went on, it started to feel scattered and lost my interest.
The plot was confusing at times. Bella was supposed to be married to Bishop, yet he’s marrying Genesis, and that wasn’t clearly explained. The timeline with Genesis and her child also didn’t quite add up, which made it hard to stay fully into the story.
This was my first time reading this author, and while it didn’t work for me, I’d still consider giving her another try.
This was one book that had me on the edge of my seat. When I thought I knew what was gonna happen, the opposite happened. I was rooting for Bishop for a little bit, but he was doing too much. I just know I don't want no man who stroke game so good it makes me want do all the things Bella did. I felt for Genesis. She thought she had an amazing man who turned out to be grade A TRASH. The author wrote a good story that I read in one sitting.
Idk what the hell is going but I know I read this book already once before the least you could have done was update with something new or changed the ending or something I’m still giving it 5 stars because I loved it the first I just like to be told it’s a rerelease.
