Indiscretion: Volume Four

***This is the final instalment in Max & Chloe's story. This volume is twice the length of previous instalments.***

The image was seared into my mind. Imprinted. Emblazoned. Etched.

Did I blame him for what I saw? Or myself, for allowing him the ability to cause the pain coursing through me?

Betrayal was a weapon that cut to the core—the ‘what ifs’ the infection that festered in the wound.

I’d thought we’d had roadblocks thrown in front of us before. Damn. Those would have seemed like mere speed bumps if I’d seen what was coming…

Little did I know that what was headed our way would prove to be the biggest test of all—putting impossible choices in front of us. None of which seemed to lead to a happy ending in which the two of us were together.

Again, I enjoyed the story. It was short and sweet. How wonderfully was written the last part, I just love it. It was beautiful and painful.

Both Chloe and Max are both great characters with difficult pasts. Max reveals his painful secret. Many questions will be answered and get a beautiful solution.
It was official—I’d never understand the inner workings of a woman’s mind.

They had a lot of ups and downs. They went a long way to get there.
"Every time I look at you, it's like the first time I saw you, and I thank my lucky stars all the time that we met. I can't imagine being apart from you again. I want you beside me every day-forever. Hell, forever won't be long enough."

Overall, I did enjoy it as a whole.

Holy Bejeezers, what an incredible conclusion to this series.
Maxwell & Chloe fans will not be disappointed however the journey that they are crossed with, is not a easy straight road HEA. This book certainly hit me close to the heart due to real life situations that take place in the book. I was holding my breath through certainly scenes as it just devastated me but also understanding of a characters choices aswell.
Elisabeth captured incredible true life experience through this book that certainly will grab her readers and love her even more. Love Life and live it to the fullest. I certainly would recommend this series to all.

Wow! What a brilliant way to end this series! This is the best serial I have ever read. It is simply fantastic! Some things that I think made this series so amazing - there is no silly drama, no over the top angst, and no silly misunderstandings or miscommunication. Chloe and Max are a wonderful couple that you really want to see reach their HEA. The chemistry between these two characters is beautiful. I have gone through so many emotions while reading volume 4. It takes a lot for a book to make me cry but this one definitely caused some tears. There are things that happen that this couple have no control over. The way this is written was fantastic and as a reader, you become really invested in these characters. I couldn't put this down and I already want to go back and reread this entire series. I am incredibly sad that this story is over but the epilogue was perfection. I highly recommend this series!

I have been totally obsessed with this series. It's sweet, loving, it has mystery and suspense, and hot as hell! My heart just goes out to this couple. I love how Grace writes in both characters point of view. I get to see the inner struggle and the witness the hard choices that have to make. I was in tears at the end of this book. I hated to see it end, but the ending was so amazing I couldn't help but cry. This is the first books from this author I have read, but she now has a fan for life! I can't wait to read more of Grace's work.

I have NO words that can properly explain how I felt about this final installment of Indiscretion by Elisabeth Grace. I am completely BLOWN AWAY!!! This was an amazing ending/conclusion to Max and Chloe's story.

This installment was a emotional roller coaster!!! My heart was all over the place while reading this book. One minute I was happy and then the next my heart was breaking. Max and Chloe truly go through some serious ups and downs in this one. But rest assured that even though your heart will be broken in this book, it will all be put back together in the end.

"If you never passed through a storm, then you'd have no appreciation for the rainbow."….Chloe

I loved the direction that the author took with this story. She added some serious twists that I didn't see coming and wouldn't have expected. This final installment starts off right where #3 ended. All the questions that were raised in the other three installments are answered in this one. I have to say that we got to see a more personal side to both Chloe and Max in this one. We got to know exactly what happened in Max's past and why there was such a strain with his dad.

I am normally not a huge fan of serials, but this one worked well. I thought the way it was written was wonderful. Each installment gave you just enough to keep you coming back for more and the overall storyline was great!!!

I would 100% recommend this book/serial to everyone who is looking for a fun and sexy read that will also pull at your heartstrings. I will forever be a fan of Elisabeth's writing and will read anything she publishes.

Vol. 4! We have reached the final book in the Indiscretion series. There is so much going on in this book. We come right in, as we do with the other books, where Vol. 3 left us, still reeling from what happened at the event that led to Chloe running away.

Max didn’t realize why she had left, and personally, I’d like to smack him upside the head for that little stunt, but I still want our couple back together, I wanted there to be an explanation.

Vol. 4 is when the first tears leaked out of my eyes, not just once. Things are happening beyond our couple’s control and my heart strings weren’t just pulled, they were yanked when I saw the direction this one was going. We learn so many things about Max and why he is the way he is in this book, we meet his mother, we see a teeny tiny different side of his father, and we still get all the waving your face to cool yourself off hotness going on between these two.

Verdict for the whole series? I loved it. I think this collection as a whole is my favorite work that Elisabeth Grace has done to date. 5 stars for all of the books. It was an amazing ride!

Thank you for my copy of Indiscretion Vol. 4.

**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

We've reached the conclusion of Chloe & Max's bumpy story. As eager as I was to get my hands on this hot piece of writing, I was equally sad to see the journey ending. With that being said, it did not stop me from devouring the entire final volume with my morning coffee this morning.

Metanoia (Engligh): (n.) the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life
(sidenote: there was only ONE word for me to learn in this final installment, I think Elisabeth should have started each chapter with one, or finished the book off with one. I know... I am needy, but the WORD NERD in me loved these little tidbits!)
During the previous three installments, you see both Chloe and Max grow with each other and individually. This final volume is no different in that area. I was shocked by the emotion that ran through each line of this book. Emotion flowed with Max's actions, Chloe's words and in the risks others in their lives took. This hidden relationship was hard to hide with all the emotion radiating from each of them.
Jackie's husband, Jamie has some words of advice for Max that made me chuckle.
He chuckled and patted me on the shoulder. "Good luck with that. In my experience the only way misunderstandings get straightened out with women is if you admit defeat and beg for forgiveness." He gave me a look of pity.
I kicked at the ground, pursing my lips. "Yeah, well... I'm not above grovelling if that's what it takes."
Opening up to each other about their pasts and leaning on one another in tough times leads them beyond the limits of their initial agreement. An accident that proved to be a blessing in disguise unveils more then either Max or Chloe could have imagined. Max, the protector, decides for Chloe that she doesn't need this, and does what he does best. Leave.
"I've got to be the world's biggest douche magnet."
The love between the two never faded, even with the distance and time he choose to put between them. Max's friend, Paul, couldn't stand by and let Chloe think the way she thought about his longtime friend. Paul urged her to take a moment and go see the Max she thought about daily.
I loved her. I loved every little thing about her, which is why I had to end it. I'd have to push her away and break her heart now because I didn't even know if I'd be around to receive her love in the future.
Max was in the business of protecting Chloe, and even if she didn't agree or desire his protection - she respected his reasoning. Even if on most days Chloe couldn't even understand his reasoning. SO MUCH EMOTION in this book!
Elisabeth tied the series up so beautifully that I couldn't help but shed a tear or two saying goodbye to all the characters I have grown to love in this short amount of time. If I had to describe this final book in FIVE words: Devotion, Understanding, Strength, Forgiveness and Love. This series wasn't a simple one. There was so much to each character, so much meat to each story, and yet it all flowed together perfectly. There are only two things I am waiting for now:
1) The book to release, so I can discuss with people: Gabe, Kurt, Maximus, Paul and all the juicy details that I cannot put into a SPOILER-FREE review!
2) The paperback to release so I can get an autographed copy from this incredibly talented woman!

Before I leave you to either read 1-3 before the release of 4 or leave you to wonder what could be going on in the world of Max & Chloe when my review gave you little to speculate on, I want to share the one line in this book that stuck out to me the most:
Gratitude makes what you have enough. And I couldn't have been more grateful. I had everything I needed.

Elisabeth Grace took this story to a whole other level in volume four. I was desperate for Max and Chloe to find their happily ever after. This final piece of the story solidified Max and Chloe’s spot in my heart and once again, left me dazzled by Elisabeth’s fabulous storytelling and loveable characters. Her growth as a writer continues to thrill me and this final volume made sure I was already anxious for her next book.

Elisabeth masterfully took these two on their journey and allowed them the time to realistically grow. Chloe really came into her own in this last part of the story, speaking her mind and taking chances with her heart. Max, on the other hand, was given the ultimate reminder that he should be living his life on his own terms and that going after what he wants is a risk always worth taking.

Volume four had me feeling like I’d been emotionally steamrolled. Elisabeth threw in a twist that I never say coming. This story was witty, fierce, sexy and unquestionably beautiful. My heart was crushed and then mended, only to be stolen all over again by these feisty, completely relatable characters and their expertly crafted story. Elisabeth Grace has outdone herself and proven once again why I love her fresh and unique voice. This serial is undoubtedly one-click worthy.

What can I say? Elisabeth took me on an emotional roller coaster with this one. I laughed and I cried. And just when I didn't think she could make me cry anymore. She did. I was invested in these two from book one. I wanted their HEA. This book was a true test- when it came to their feelings for one another. I think Elisabeth did an amazing job at telling their story. Even if a few things I would have wanted differently. Bravo Elisabeth.

This final installment starts off right where the last one ended. Max has a lot to answer for and he’s determined to clear everything up. His love for Chloe is too strong to lose her over a stupid misunderstanding.

After all is said and done, these two seem to get back on track, yet their relationship’s impending finale continues to taunt them. Just when they’re in a good place, a frightening accident happens and Max gets life changing news. What he does with that news also changes Chloe’s life.
"...I was connected to him now on a level far beyond just the physical. Whether we discussed it or not made no difference. The connection still existed, like invisible pieces of twine roping us together."

I was shocked by the twist in this book. My mouth hung open for a good few minutes and then the tears started to pour. It wasn’t exactly the direction I had expected it to go in, though I didn’t necessarily hate it. I thought it worked well into the story, I just wish it was detailed more on Max’s end. Simply a bit more of what he was going through, perhaps in his p.o.v. But, oh did my heart break! The epilogue was a beautiful end after such a distressing few chapters. Exactly what fans of Chloe and Max will want to see; the HEA they deserve.
"If you never passed through a storm, then you'd have no appreciation for the rainbow."

The only complaint I really had with this book/series, was the huge mystery that kept building up. Once we found out who the actual culprit was… well it was a serious disappointment. I could’ve done without this addition to the story, because it was honestly the weakest part of the story.

Overall, this was a really strong finish to a great series! I’d recommend this serial to those looking for a fun read with a hot romance, heartbreaking moments, and a touch of mystery.

** 6 Star Review**
Wow! After the first three volumes in the Indiscretion series by Elisabeth Grace being 5 Star reviews , I was anxiously awaiting for the final volume. I was expecting drama, suspense, more erotic moments between Max and Chloe, and finally their happily ever after. While Elisabeth delivered all of these elements, she took this series down an unexpected lane. She absolutely blew me away.

Indiscretion Volume 4 was one of the most emotional books I have read. The love between Chloe and Max was pure and exhilarating. Their devotion to one another through unforeseen circumstances that would break most couples was astonishing. Their journey to happily ever after was a heart wrenching road with many obstacles to overcome. The unexpected roadblocks broke my heart. At times they both found themselves lost and alone on a dark scary path that seemed to have no ending. But somehow these two managed to find that fork in the road that led them back to one another. In the end, Max and Chloe found their way back to each other and chose to journey through life together.

I really can’t say more about this final installment in this series. It is a powerful ending for this beautiful couple. Elisabeth Grace’s writing was superbly executed and made me an emotional wreck. I cried like a baby, laughed like a hyena, cussed like a sailor, and swooned like a damsel in distress. I was very moved.

I highly recommend the Indiscretion series by Elisabeth Grace. It is unpredictable and highly emotional. It has all the wonderful qualities that readers look for in good books. The writing is superb, the characters are enthralling, and the plot took me by surprise.

I loved this final volume in the Indiscretion Serial by Elisabeth Grace. Once it appeared on my kindle I stayed up super late to make sure I finished it in one sitting. This volume wraps up Max and Chloe’s story but unlike many final volumes that are just there to give you a HEA, this one is packed full of drama and sexiness and an all around good story!

“You are so beautiful, Chloe. I’ve never met anyone whose outer beauty perfectly matched her inner beauty. You’re truly one of a kind.”

Max and Chloe’s road to an HEA is a tough one. I thought the first three volumes had so much drama that I was completely unprepared for all that would unfold in volume four. It was fantastic!!! I like to stay away from too much plot in my reviews of serials because each volume is so short that I don’t want to accidentally give something super important away. But that being said I do want to touch on how hard watching the misunderstanding between Chloe and Max unfold. Her seeing him with another woman at the even almost completely broke her and him realizing that he cold lose her just about broke him. It was so sad to watch unfold but so wonderful to watch them put the pieces of themselves back together.

I will say Max kissing another girl at the event is not even close to the biggest drama that unfolds so just be prepared to be on the edge of your seat!

“I want to watch you take your pleasure from me.”

On a last note, the sex, oh boy the sex! I just want to say that Elisabeth Grace gives good sex scenes! They are HOT and emotional and oh boy do I need to catch my breath and cool down after!

“Damn. This woman just undoes me. Fully and completely.”

Overall, I LOVED this whole series and it has left me dying for more books from Elisabeth! I highly recommend it!

** TARA'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW **

“If you never passed through a storm, than you’d have no appreciation for the rainbow”

In the final installment of the Indiscretion series Chloe and Max’s story plays out. I started out hating Max, after how Volume 3 ended, but midway through he redeemed himself.

This is the longest volume in the series, and was so jam pack full of every aspect of the storyline. I loved how it all played out, the angst I felt was out of control. I found myself holding my breath willing the story to find a positive ending for everyone.

I>“There’s nowhere I’d rather be right now than right here. No one I’d rather be with.”

There was lots of hot amazing sexiness, and I just love the passion these two characters have. I actually found myself wanting more. Thank goodness for the Epilogue, because I would have been extremely sad to not know how Chloe and Max’s lives turned out.

Overall, I would highly recommend this entire series. It is such an awesome story, and I loved how it was written.

Looking forward to her next book, Moment of Impact (coming Late Fall 2014)

3.5 stars. I didn't jump to conclusions at the end of volume 3 because I needed to see what Max's explanation was out of his own mouth. Sometimes things can look really bad, but aren't. Chloe and Max's relationship has only strengthened over time, where they are trusting each other with the deeper parts of themselves. I knew Max had something secretive that likely explained his reluctance to commit to anyone or feel undeserving of true happiness. So when that revelation came out, I really empathized with him and his pain. And if that wasn't enough, Max has another bomb to drop. I don't know if that turn of events actually fit in with the overall tone of the story or and it definitely wasn't what I was expecting, because it was lead into rather suddenly, but I see what it did for the character development for both Chloe and Max. Also, the perpetrator behind Chloe's incidents was not who I thought it was. All the loose ends in from the previous volumes were tied up so there weren't any more lingering questions remaining.

Indiscretion: Volume Four by Elisabeth Grace is the final installment in her Indiscretion serial. We left Chloe making assumptions about Max's behavior. Ones that were wrong but no one could blame her. Thankfully, the two of them get things straightened out. As they realize the true depth of their feelings for each other, they still have not fessed up to each other. It's the delay of this admission that ultimately causes a road-block.

Max discovers some very disturbing news and his actions cause a ripple effect that could completely end their relationship.

A very beautiful tale told over four installments, and while ultimately there is a Happily Ever After, the path it takes to get there is one you will definitely want to be a part of.

Oh my heart. So you know when your on a roller coaster and every time it makes that drop or crazy loop. You can feel your stomach drop and your holding your breath till the scary part passes well that's exactly how I felt at times with this story. Max and Chloe's story was just that, a crazy roller coaster it gave us some crazy unexpected turns but it was so awesome to ride. Indiscretion vol. 4 had a big one that I did not see coming at all. But that's what I love about Elisabeth Grace she keeps you guessing and not a boring part in sight. So many Emotions and Feels with Max and Chloe's story loved that everything came full circle and I got my AWESOME! (might I add) HEA, But also sad to see there story end. The chemistry between Max and Chloe was super hot and sexy I think I will miss this the most. 5 stars for Indiscretion 1-4. Love loved this series..

I saw from a mile away that the connection between Max and Chloe was deeper than either of them could admit. They had to admit it to themselves, and actually looked like they were starting to admit it to each other.

Then something happens – something I never saw coming. Max is faced with a tough decision; stay with the woman he loves or spare her from more pain. Either way, they can’t be together like they thought.

My heart truly broke for them both. There was definitely more to Max and Chloe than just two people who wanted a summer fling. They were two lost souls who spent each day hiding their pain from the rest of the world, and found comfort in each other.

Elisabeth Grace took this serial to an unexpected place. After all the steamy encounters and suspenseful romance, Indiscretion became a well-written beautiful love story.

Like I personally told Elisabeth, this is the Best Final Book Ever!

Elisabeth Grace takes Indiscretion to a whole other level; actually, she took it to a different dimension!

More twists. More deception. More love. More hurt. More hope. More happiness.

More Everything.

Volume 4 gives another meaning to the word “mindblowing”.

Our beloved Indiscretion series comes to an end with an explosive finale. Unexpected and Explosive Finale.

Indiscretion couldn’t get more real and emotional if it tried.

An Absolutely Amazing Finale for An absolutely Amazing Series!!

Many more than 5 stars go to Indiscretion Volume 4!!!!!!!!! It is beyond this world!

This is a must must read!!

What an amazing ending to a fantastic series! Talk about keeping you on edge! I wasn’t sure what was going to happen as each new twist was thrown at me.

I absolutely loved Max & Chloe’s journey! The pain, the heartache, the uncertainty, their love….it was all so beautiful. So emotional and captivating. Loved every minute of it!

Outstanding 5 stars!!!

I can't put it any better than this:

This was the best romance/love story I have ever read like a soap opera, each volume feeds into the next with a huge drop your ass of a cliff, cliff hanger!
I hate cliff hangers but if this story was written without them, it just wouldn't work!

Bravo Elisabeth and thanks!

If there was ever a moment when I felt Elisabeth Grace wasn’t a good writer—purely fictitious, of course; she’s pretty damn awesome—Volume Four BURIES that sentiment. THIS, people, is what I like to call The Complete Package.

There’s drama without too much of drama.

There’s fluff without too much of fluff.

Angst without too much of it.

And there’s never too much Max-Chloe sexy times so shut your damn food-hole.

I didn’t cry in this book. I don’t know how, but I managed to not bawl my eyes out. Thing is, there was just so much in this book. So much feeling…so much emotion? I dunno, it’s kind of difficult to explain.

And any little thing I give away is like ruining the entire thing, but I’m going to do my best to convince you that you absolutely NEED to read this series.

Max & Chloe: ZOMG these two make the best couple ever. I know that the friends-with-benefits-turn-into-more angle has been done many, many times before. But believe me when I say, that it’s never been done quite this way before. Their chemistry, the sexual tension (or lack thereof) and the way romance seems to seep into this volume…you have got to read it to see it.

Chloe: You would expect that at some time point, the girl would cave to the boy’s whims and submit. Yeah no. That doesn’t happen here. At. All. Chloe is a headstrong, fire-filled girl, completely capable of making decisions for herself. And the best part? You’re going to agree with her decisions. She’s not gonna make you want to pull your hair out because she’s weak or insecure. That’s how awesome she is.

The Drama: Are you a fan of drama? Unexpected twists and turns? Near-deaths and sudden break-ups? If yes, then this is just the thing for you. If no, then hey. This is a series. Not too much to read at all. Maybe you’ll develop a liking for dram, eh?

I sound like a bad salesperson.

The Swoon:

“…I was connected to him now on a level far beyond just the physical. Whether we discussed it or not made no difference. The connection still existed, like invisible pieces of twine roping us together.”

“You are so beautiful, Chloe. I’ve never met anyone whose outer beauty perfectly matched her inner beauty. You’re truly one of a kind.”

“If you never passed through a storm, then you’d have no appreciation for the rainbow.”

I’m not even going to mention Max’s dirty talk throughout the series. Although there’s one thing: If you read the entire series together, and your ovaries come out unscathed, do let me know.

Writing this review is also really fucking awkward. There is a ton of stuff that happened in the book but I can’t one away without giving the other. And if I give away anything even remotely small and supposedly un-dramatic, it’s not going to make sense to you. It’s a vicious cycle.

The previous three books? They were pleasant. Non-teary. Hot.

Volume Four? That’s real. It’s real life. It’s the fact that even though you like this girl and you want to be with her and you’re afraid of commitment, you still have bigger things to worry about.

It’s how you have no control over what happens to you, even if you plan your life to the t.

It’s how love is always triumphant.

I feel like I should extend personal thanks to Miss Grace for existing. BUT, I’m not good at that sort of thing, so I’m just hoping she reads this. She existed, made this series and through them, kept me entertained and jittery and always, always wanting more. I still maintain what I said before – Volume Three is my absolute favorite. But if you’re looking for more than just sex and dirty talk, but can’t get enough of Chloe and Max, then Volume Four will be the perfect end of the series for you.

Oh who am I kidding? You want to read this, bitches. You know you do.
