Good premise bad protagonist

This wasn't the worst story, but the main character was blamed and boring. Even when the investigator is telling the billionaire about her there's no skeletons in her closet. She's unrelatable and boring.

Part one not book one

This ends in a cliffhanger. Normally I hate books that end in a cliffhanger but I have to say the author ended it in a way that makes me want to know what's about to play out. It was really faster paced and didn't really bring much depth to the characters.

This book starts off slow but got more entertaining towards the end. By the time we do get to the end of this first part of the series we get the "to be cont." ending. I guess it didn't really represent the series well.
