Feretti Syndicate #3

Ruiniert Durch Rhapsodie: Eine Entführungs-Feinde-zu-Liebhabern-Mafia-Romanze (Feretti-Syndikat-Serie 3)

Ok so i didnt like this book one bit
Starting off from the start towards the end there was no emotional rythm to the story and everthing seemed to be happening so fast that as a reader it didn't even feel like a big thing lets say the fmc and mmc getting together.
And the fmc was SOO stupid at times i had the montrous urge to get inside the book and hit her right across the face like if you know you are not part of the mafia world and the guy she is with noah who is a mafia enforcer keeps telling her that her going to ivan enemy mafia boss, isn't safe at all in pinpoint detail and yet you make the decision to go and then the second she steps in enemy territory, she realizes oh shit noah was right like bitch are we deadass. And as i said before the emotional incoherence is annoying as hell and comes predominately through the fmc's scenes like bruh one time you wanna be intimate with the mmc then next you wanna 'hold your ground' and have an argument and then next moment you are all over him again like what in the world.
Actually i havent finished the book but i wanted so badly to write what i was feeling reading this. i'm at 70ish% rightnow so idk what bombastic annoying bimbo fmc is gonna be adventuring on towards the end but here are my two cents anyways🤷🏻‍♀️

2⭐️ erm i kinda wasn’t vibing with the fmc bc everyone around you is telling you don’t go and it’s not your fault and then it becomes your fault bc you go against literally everyone around you and then the plot at the end was just kinda rushed

This book is SO uneven and choppy... how does it have such great reviews?

This heroine is one of the most TSTL I have ever read. (too Stupid to live). She is a sheltered violinist who is abused into perfectionism in her playing by her dad and then he arranges for her to be the on-call violinist for a violent criminal guy. Fine... okay.

Then when said guy sends three of his men to abduct her, she is rescued by another shadow dude, Il Fantasma (The Ghost) of another family. Turns out (and we knew this from his POV) he's obsessed with her and stalking her and adores her. But he puts her up in his apartment, doesn't touch her and takes care of her, promising to keep her safe and solve her issue. (Of course, even though he's the most feared guy, whatever, he can't fix things and he's in big trouble with his boss for blah blah mafia stuff)

So she HATES him. Accuses him of kidnapping her. Berates him, gives him a really hard time. For about 2/3 of the book. Then he takes her out to dinner and says stuff, and she sleeps with him...

Okay.

Then the original bad guy kidnaps her sister and friend and she decides its all her fault and she runs away from the hero (who is trying to fix things using all his connections) and runs straight to the bad guy.. because that's a good plan.

TSTL. Seriously, what is this? Not even a 'I'll trade myself for them' ... just 'here I am'? So... she gets locked up.
Of course the hero comes for her, through a secret passage, which the bad guy knew about so its all a trap--he dies, but the hero is heroically, shot. So the heroine... likes him now? But this super tough guy, and has to show how tough he is because he goes against medical advice for the hospital and amorous activities (eye roll) and he even says "I'd rather have her alive and pissed at me than the alternative" then lets her go off to see her dad, even though the whole situation is unresolved. He literally says ""I'm not letting you face him alone." then lets her face him alone because "she won't feel suffocated" TSTL!

so what happens? she confronts the dad, he leaves--she gets held at gunpoint, AGAIN, the hero comes in AGAIN, (when there were guards all around? no one handles anything until he shows up, seriously, this book is SO bad) and then her dad gets killed and she goes comatose while awake because "It's all my fault"

It's just a bad bad book. The heroine is dumb. Like literally, just ... and her emotional intelligence is almost as horrible as his.
I can overlook a lot in my mafia fluff, but this not worth it. I'm done.

too bad, because I did care about Lucrezia, the sister.

*Spoilers Ahead*

Okay for some context i have had this series saved to read since December 2025. Another thing was that I actually found this series actually scrolling on Amazon. What caught my attention was the covers and immediately I knew that they were mafia books so i took a picture and finally got around to reading them, not knowing there are so many books but i’m determined to finished this series!! So here it goes…

For this book, Noah and Evelyn are truly a grumpy x grumpy couple. I think haven gotten a glimpse into Noah obsession to Evelyn’s violin playing at Damiano‘s daughter christening and honestly from there like we knew it was gonna be like a done deal with both of them. I think when it comes to how they truly met was that Noah was protecting Evelyn from being attacked by the russians, aka Ivan/rivals. I think the fact that Noah was stalking her for 10 months is weird but it’s shows to the truly obsession that he had with her and that he couldn’t just stop and watch her get taken. STILL CREEPY BUT CUTE I GUESS. I think it nice we got to more from Noah and Matteo story of being essentially adoptive brothers/close homies with the family that truly shows the found family these characters across the books find within one another. I think for me the funny part was just truly seeing the back and forth between Noah and Evelyn when she was kidnapped/saved. I think there a bit of stalk home syndrome when it comes to their relationship but aside from that they finally admitted their feelings it was because one they believes that each one of them are worthy of being happy for once. I think the best part would definitely have to be the plot of the book, i’m glad we finally got see more the russian enemy and it’s clear this book is being set up so good for the future books where the Russians are going to be more a potential enemy moving forward. I think it was insane the whole Ivan plot where she goes and sacrifices herself into his captive in order to save her sister and friend. I think when I was reading it, I was shocked to find out that once they killed Ivan that the book still had a lot more pages to come so I was so confused because I was not expecting the final plot climax where it involved I’ve been family coming to kill them and eventually killing her dad as a message that this wasn’t over… LOWKEY CINEMA WRITING!! I can’t wait to see what happens with Alessio and his captive bride.

This one is a super bingeable, fun time! Obsessive, possessive MMC, st@lking plus k!dnapping to keep her safe. Sassy FMC with some trust issues, and the writing is good. All in all, it’s a pretty fun, safe read - albeit predictable.

The MMC works for Damiano and the Feretti family, but he’s not related. He sees this girl performing violin at one of their parties, and instantly wants to know more about her. He st@lks her from a distance, watches her sleep 🤭, for almost a year (!) until he sees three Russian goons trying to grab her - so of course he has to intervene, and k!dnap her himself .. 🤷‍♀️ it was for her safety! She obviously doesn’t see it that way, and is quite angry about it!

Evelyn is a professional Violinist, and plays for some of the underworld families. Her father was a tyrant, the poor kid was locked in a room and forced to practice until her fingers bled at the age of 7, and he later “sold” a contract to the Russians for her to play. This plot point was a little unclear to me.. and of course, our FMC makes terrible decisions when it comes to her own safety 🤦‍♀️ this is one of those annoying predictable plot points.. but, I still had a fun time!

I realized I read the other 2 books last year, and the only reason I remembered was the sister’s name, Lucrezia. Her character- I really want her book! 🙌

Holy smokes... where do I even BEGIN with Ruined by Rhapsody?

Book 3 in the Ferretti Syndicate series comes out swinging from page one. Noah- the family's enforcer-has been obsessing over Evelyn, a gifted violinist, for over a year. And when I say obsession... whew. That word is doing some very light lifting here. ** He's been watching her, tracking her, fully convincing himself it's all about protection.

So when real danger shows up, Noah does what only a morally gray enforcer would do: he kidnaps her to keep her safe. Except-plot twist-Evelyn has been sort of
"sold" by her father to the Russian mafia.

What follows is an enemies-to-lovers, forced-proximity situation that I genuinely wasn't sure would work... and somehow it absolutely did. The result? A surprisingly beautiful love story wrapped in dark romance vibes and a solid redemptive arc.

The chemistry between Noah and Evelyn is off the charts— even while she's fighting it every step of the way. And once she realizes he isn't the monster she believes him to be? Game. Over. Dark, intense, emotional, and totally addictive-this one stuck with me.

Another good addition to this series. This is book 3 which you can read any of these books as a standalone but I would suggest to start with book 1 so you know who is who and why this family does what they do. This time it’s Noahs turn. He is known as the Phantom, he kills for the Feretti family and is feared by many. When he sees Evenly playing the violin at Damiano’s wedding, he is hooked. He’s been watching her for months and after she plays for Damiano and Zoe’s little girl’s christening, he follows her once again. When he sees she’s in danger from the Russians he’s steps in and takes her. Boy does she not like that idea but from here on out the books gets good. I don’t like to give the story away, just a little snippet so if you like an enjoyable Mafia family story, then this series is for you.

This is Evelyn and Noah’s story and the third book in Feretti Syndicate mafia series. This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the other books and preferably in order. The books are page-turners and you won’t be disappointed. Each book features a different family member and what part they play in the family mafia syndicate. Noah is the ‘killer’ for the family business. This book is full of hot action, plenty of danger. He is mesmerized by Evelyn when he hears her playing music at a wedding. Later, he kidnaps her against her will when he finds out she is in danger from the Russians. An enemies to lovers theme that will keep you engaged. A great story with plenty of steam. An HEA and no cliffhanger. I read a free arc via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to write a review. A great addition to the series.

Evelyn is a violinist and Noah is an enforcer for the Feretti family. Evelyn catches the eye of Noah when she plays her violin at Damiano Feretti's wedding.
Evelyn and Noah's relationship has quite the unconventional beginning, but the relationship that they end up with is very intense and steamy. Noah does not talk about his past with anyone, but the trust her shows in Evelyn makes him want to share.
Evelyn has had no autonomy when it comes to her life because of her father's expectations, but when she is with Noah willingly it is the first time she feels free. Evelyn is naive and I want to throttle her some time through the book. But I love everything about this book. Alessio's story sounds like it is coming next and I cannot wait to read it.

This is the third book in the series, and it does not disappoint. It can be read as a standalone but if you start at book one you have more of the back history and know who is who. This is Noah and Evelyn's story. He is known as the Phantom and feared by most. He is the Feretti family assassin. Noah hears Evelyn playing the violin at Damiano's wedding, he is immediately taken with her. He basically stalks her for months and when he learns she is in danger, he steps in to save her by kidnapping her. She doesn't take to kindly to that and this is when the book starts getting really good. You'll need to read the story to find out what happens. This is a good mafia romance.

Noah has been drawn to Evelyn since he saw her perform at a wedding. He started following her because of his need to see her. When he saw an enemy's men go after her one night he steps in and takes her home with him. Evelyn doesn't know if she can trust him because of how he just took her. She's been in a cage most of her life because of the men that took control from her. Its not long before she sees Noah differently and things change between them. Will he be able to keep her safe? Will they finally admit to what they want from one another?

This is another great installment from this series. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is the 3rd in the series of a deliciously dark romances. Noah is known as the ghost, the job always coming first. That changes the moment he hears Evelyn play her violin for his boss. Evelyn desperately wants to be in control of her own life, but knows for now she is tied to the mysterious and dangerous Russian and to her father. Knowing she is in danger, Noah rescue's her from her boss and decides to keep her for himself...for security reasons. While she hates what Noah has done, she can't help her attraction to him. Can she really fall for her kidnapper; what will she do when the people she cares about become targets? This is definitely dark, intense both is suspense and passion...loved it!

This series continues to deliver every single time. Noah was such a compelling MMC. He's cold, dangerous, and known as “the ghost” for a reason. I loved the way he became so fixated on protecting Evelyn, even before either of them fully realized what was happening between them.

Evelyn was a great balance to his intensity, and the chemistry between them was packed with tension from the start. Once the danger kicks in, the story becomes impossible to stop reading. The suspense, spice, and emotional moments were all done so well, and I loved seeing familiar characters from the earlier books too.

Noah is part of the Feretti Syndicate. His job is as the killer. He hears music at a wedding that may change his life. That is when he sees Evelyn. He kidnaps Evelyn for himself. Evelyn finds that she wants to discover new parts of her life after the kidnapping. Will Evelyn find that she enjoys being with Noah? Will Noah be glad that he kidnapped Evelyn? Will Noah and Evelyn find a happy ending?

This is such a brilliant mafia read.
Noah has been obsessed with Evelyn since the first time he saw her playing the violin at his bosses wedding so when he sees her in danger he helps save.
Now she is safe in his home but to Evelyn she being kept against her will.
Will Noah be able to keep her safe when the enemy is closing in.
The chemistry between Noah and Evelyn is electric but could they get their chance together or will they be ripped apart forever.

So...here's the thing. This book is just another version of the first 2 books. It's a generic story line of kidnapper and hostage. Evelyn is feisty and gives as good as she gets. Her family is trash, essentially selling her to the highest bidder. Meanwhile, Noah is all hard ass, don't mess with me, until it comes to her. When she gets taken, his desperation is everything! So well done! Looking forward to the next books but I do hope at some point the plot changes and it's just a different version of the same story.

Noah is a guy who never loves or lets his guard down until he hears Evelyn play the violin. Noah goes where ever she goes to watch and listen to her. He doesn’t realise that Ivan who Evelyn signed a contract with to get away from her controlling father has been watching. Noah followed her home from the concerts to make sure she is safe. Until one night after doing two concerts she goes home and three of Ivan’s men are waiting for her. Noah rushes in to save her and kills the men and takes Evelyn away. There troubles are just starting now this is a must read book. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Strong addition to this series, Noah and Evelyn's journey will take you on a rollercoaster, an emotional one, they had many ups and downs along the way but they were so made for each other, they were drawn together, strong attraction and chemistry, it was steamy, they were good together. This is the third book in this phenomenal series and this is Evelyn and Noah's story.
This is a well written easy to read, action packed story, with family dynamics, friendships, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, determination, tension, drama, revelations, undeniable chemistry, and love which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, mafia romance
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Omg I’m so in love with the Feretti Men! I always thought my favorite was Enzo till I met Noah Fucking Rivera!!! 🍷 everything of him is just perfect!! 👌🏽 raw and primal just exquisite like a good wine! For the next book you can take me and I will play the piano for you Mr. Rivera 😎.

And BTW Evelyn doesn’t deserves him, too innocent for him and just breakable hehehe he deserves someone like Lucrecia Feretti!! The storm wrapped around old money and Italian traditions 🥹🍷🥰

Absolutely loved this book! Evelyn is a violinist and finds she is in danger from a very bad man, Noah works for the mafia and is obsessed with her so he's been watching her but when someone trys to kidnapped her all bets are off. Will she hate him for saving her or will love come through? Can Noah let his cold heart love her or is it too late?

Evelyn is a professional violinist. Noah is an enforcer for the Feretti Mafia. Noah is enraptured with Evelyn. When he sees Evelyn being forced to leave her apartment building, he kidnapped her to protect her. Will he be able to keep her safe? What will Damiano say? What happens when she escapes? Great story with lots of chemistry and suspense.

Obsession at first sight! Noah and Evelyn’s story is explosive! The alpha male and his fiery woman! The plot was interesting and intriguing. Some twist and turns I didn’t see coming. I was hooked from the very beginning! I really loved these two together. They were well-developed and easily relatable. I do plan on going back and reading the other books in this series.

Yep, exactly my kind of story! He’s obsessed with her, and she’s the light to his darkness. I liked that even though he struggled with communication at the beginning, he still wanted to give her the best he could, despite the circumstances. The restaurant scene was really the turning point in their dynamic. The ending was a bit unexpected, but it was good.

Wouldn't see it coming...

These two seemed like polar opposites and in the beginning, I wondered how in the world they would ever make it work. Eventually, as usual works with forced proximity, they got to know each other and appreciate their differences. There's a nice HEA at the end.

He is the families enforcer to the Ferretti family, also in love from afar , following a violinist for a year, unknown to her until one night a kidnapping was arranged by a rival mafia family, they didn’t succeed but she was kidnapped anyway by her saviour. Great story from the first page to the last.

There's some unneccessary stuff. They Drive to house have meeting and then leave. It coulda been a phone call. He's mesmorized by her. She hates him cuz he saved her from being killed. Yup you read correctly. The guy sacrifing everything to keep her safe is so called bad guy in her eyes. Ruining the series.

It’s scary 🫣 how a man can follow a woman around and she never knows. How a man loves a woman and feels he isn’t worthy of her love 💕. Sorry not sorry but that is BS because every one is worthy of love 💕. Even the ghost needs love 💕

A good book

This story of the Ghost and Evie was a good one. More action and not so much spice but a good story anyways. The editing needs to have a closer look because there are things that either don't make sense or grammer issues. Other than that I recommend this book and the series so far
