As much as I like mysteries and I liked the mystery aspect to these romances I really was a little bit disappointed that Samantha Cain after building the romance between her and Jefferies the next book just begins with oh he died. Also why do all the women in these books hate when the guy tells them to stay home because there is literally a serial killer on the loose. Like specifically when they are targeting them they are like "no you cannot tell me what to do" Like one they are policemen and two they care about you, three do you not care about your own safety?????
