The GR description is wrong; this book is about Olympic weightlifting, not powerlifting (which is an entirely different sport). It breaks down the lifts into various basic parts to practice, with stepwise photos of each. It features some advice on supporting your training with nutrition, and emphasizes good movement, balance and stability as the basis of good lifting. I liked the sections on assistance lifts and the warm up exercises using only bodyweight as resistance. It doesn't get too crazy and complicated but remains very straightforward and clearly written. This will be a good reference book for our gym.

Ok book, but I disagree with the methodology. Kudos for the nice collection of images.
I skimmed through this one as well. There is neither physics or movement correction tips. Instagram has better content these days.

Goodreads win. Will read and review once received.

I was so excited to get this book. I have been wanting to build some upper arm strength and I will admit I have like none. This book is great. I flipped through it and am so excited to start of some of the book and lift. A great book that is written well and gives good explanations.
