Volume Three of the In My Blood Series.
Warning: this book is meant for a mature audience over the age of 18.

Aura cannot find out that I’m alive, if she does it won’t bode well for her. She wouldn’t be safe like she is now, her mother wouldn’t be safe. Many people would be out to get her, not just our government but lots of horrendous people, clients, of her fathers. Previous clients. They would kill her without hesitation and I am the only living link to her, if she’s with me, they get her. It’s better for me to keep them off track, for the previous clients to follow me across the world and back, believing I know where she is in hiding.
Although she isn’t in hiding but in plain sight, just irrevocably changed. Changed because of my actions, Guillermo’s actions, his selfish wants. She isn’t the Aura that I kidnapped a year ago, the same innocent soul I met then. She’s grown harsh to the world and with good reason. No matter how much I tried to keep her safe, to keep her naïve and protect her, in the end I couldn’t accomplish the impossible. I broke her down, tarnished her heart and ripped her soul apart. I’m undeserving to be forgiven, not by her, her mother of even God. When judgment day comes down upon me, it’s something I would gladly repent for throughout eternity. Ultimately, that’s exactly what I deserve.

In SAVIOR, Wood again takes us through the entire abduction from Cruz's POV resulting in a lot of redundancy as we reread the exact same scenes from the first installment. It was extremely irritating to reread the exact same words again because the dialogue was verbatim from the 1st book, I eventually began skimming over everything in quotes.

I'm angry that I wasted time with this series! It's a tease that ends with a cliffhanger. The series never come to an end and nothing ever happens!!!!

Book 3 wasn't what I expected going into it. I figured it was going right back where we left off. But I so pleasently surprised to see this is from Cruz's POV and of course I was hanging on every word he was saying. From the beginning in Book 1 he's perceived as cold, heartless, ruthless, crude, cruel, unemotional about anything that stands in his way. But then we are traveling to Book 2 and we see just a little bit of a different side through Aura because of a horrific accident that happened and if it wasn't for Cruz doing what he did Aura would be a lot more worse off than what she is now even though its not that much better. In this one we get what he's feeling and seeing. He's up to something and I'm afraid before this series is all over worth its going to cost him his life. I knew there was more to him and to get to read this from his POV just made him more intriguing despite what he's done. He's a ruthless killer won't think twice about getting the job done. But its obvious even though NO ONE can see it what he will do to protect Aura.

"She isn't the Aura that I kidnapped a year ago, the innocent soul I met then. She's grown harsh to the world and with good reason. No matter how much I tried to keep her safe, to keep her naive and protect her, in the end I couldn't accomplish the impossible. I broke her down, tarnished her heart and ripped her soul apart. I'm undeserving to be forgiven, not by her, her mother, or even God. When judgment day comes down upon me, its something I would gladly repent for throughout eternity. Ultimately, that's exactly what I deserve."

This was the part that had me reeling wondering WTH was going on with him. Why was he saying all of this. That was written in beginning and then we jump to the past on how he goes about to get to Aura and bring her home to her crazy, uncaring, relentless, a@@hole of a father. Its going to be interesting how this plays out and we still have a few more to go before we find out.

This is the third installment in the series and I was sooooo happy to read it. We finally get a look into Cruz. I have been dying to know more about him and AL Wood delivers! Of course, she left us wanting more so I can’t wait to see where we go next!

It’s still just a sneak peek into Cruz. The author gave us just enough to hold us over but opened many doors and a hell of a lot of questions. I’m excited and a little saddened. I have to know more about him!

It’s well written and easily held my attention. I’m on the edge of my seat bouncing around like I am doing the “I have to go potty” dance. Please hurry with more!!! Just in case you didn’t already infer, I loved this book! If you haven’t started on the series, don’t miss out on it! Go 1-click today!

Loved

I wish the book was a little longer. I really like Cruz. I want to get to know him more. He seems like a good guy stuck in a bad place. I can't wait to read the next book.

Series unfinished

Don’t bother, it’s not finished and I suspect it never will be judging by the publishing date. Just wasted my time.

Finally! I am in love with this series of novellas! In this you get a whole new perspective because it is in Cruz's point of view! A.L. Wood does an amazing job at bringing this book back to the beginning so that the reader now understands where both main characters are coming from. Cruz has stuck with me since the first novella and I enjoyed getting to know him. I had some questions answered but was left with so many more. I don't want to give too much away, but all I can say is if you have not read this series of novellas you need to!
