Read this book cover to cover this year. Didn't do any reading for fun that I actually finished. Just took my proctored exam for this material so we shall see!
Great information. It was even too much information at times. I like how it repeated some points between chapters and I liked how it added some humor at times. It was definitely one of the better textbooks I've read.
This review is for this first edition of the book only, which is printed in depressing flat-blue monochrome and riddled with typos. They really got it together for the later editions though. When I graduated I actually bought the second edition to use as a reference and it's excellent.
