Starting Over
After a tragic accident Jessica O'Connnor had to leave everything behind to start a new life. She had run as far away as she could go, which wasn't far but enough that no one knew her name or the accident, other than her cousin Melody who offered to take her in. But when she finally got settled and was ready to build her life, things went from bad to worse. Now she was almost broke and facing homelessness all while being thrown in the the arms of the most handsome man she could have set her eyes on. After spending only one night with him she knew she had to get as far away from him as possible, before he learned her secret and would vow to hate her, just as everyone else in her life had done. Jacob Alexander was the local hero and head of the Special Operations task force. He captured the most hardened criminals and chased after the most notorious prison escapees. So how was it that one small woman could leave him week in the knees and begging for more. He had already known what it was to lose at love, so how would he be able to stay clear of this woman when he couldn't stand to be out of sight of her especially after learning her secret?

DNF @ 44%.
I gave up on this one. The h was really down on her luck and super pathetic. Her family hated her and she was just about to be homeless when the H came to her rescue. When she first meets the H, all she knows is his name and occupation. She gives her v-card to him pretty quickly and I couldn't understand why. She kind of just did it bc there was nothing else to do. It was very random. After that she pathetically needs him to take care of all her needs; her ankle is hurt, she has no place to live, no money, no friends, and no social support. The bad characters were OTT bad and the good characters were OTT good. The h was 19 and stupid. I'm not a fan of a h who is a loser.
