Clean Kill

By day she’s a simple crematorium assistant. At night though, she puts on her PPE suit and gets to work cleaning up for the local criminals.

He’s in the family business, it’s murder.

He’s also a serial womaniser who will never settle down.

When their paths cross it gets messy, it’s a good thing she can clean up.

** this book was written with tongue firmly in cheek... it's meant to be a fun...darkish romance and doesn't take itself to seriously...

I really liked this unconventional romance between a hitman and a crime scene cleaner. It was spicy and playful and entertainingly dark. What I didn’t love was the sloppy editing, which distracted me from my reading enjoyment. A chapter clearly from Mason’s POV was labelled as Ruby, and the club name misspelled as “Phantasty” are glaring examples. The epilogue ending confused me…was it a set up for a sequel?

I read this because I enjoyed the authors other book.

I did like this one too but be warned its VERY DIFFERENT. Read the triggers.

It's a smutty murder filled book with some plot.

I did like the characters though I'm not convinced the mmc redeemed himself. But the fmc was great and I liked her - a body positive strong female always good to read.

The story resolves but does leave an opening for a second book - it's not cliffhanger though as the main story is complete.

this is exactly what is says it will be. Smut with some plot.

I actually enjoyed it. The mmc is a huge red flag that I struggled with a bit as he's sort of horrible, but also owns it and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

The fmc was fun. I liked her personality and that she wasn't dumb. She knows herself and owns it.

The spice was fun - sometimes a little much, but also I enjoyed every page.

I laughed a few times which I absolutely feel is intended - the book isn't serious and it works. There is a outlining plot that builds and kept me interested enough - the characters and their relationship is the main thing.

If you read it as the authors says, it a fun spice/smut ride with some story it's a good time.

If you read Lights Out and The Ruinous Love Trilogy and thought, “I wish this was steamier and had more murder,” then Clean Kill is for you.

Miss Clean has been disposing of bodies and scrubbing crime scenes for years. D24 is her favorite client because his kills are brutal yet elegant. They’re both good at what they do.

Ruby works at a crematorium and knows her way around a corpse. Mason is a finance bro with a personality to match.

When Ruby and Mason meet, sparks fly.
But when Miss Clean and D24 come together? It’s a wildfire.

Allison’s debut is sexy, sharp, and bloody good. Ruby is mature, smart, professional, and easy to like. Mason, however, starts off terribly until he finds his perfect partner…in crime, and in love.
Seriously, this book is such a fun read. Be sure to check the TWs.

I wrote my first book...

This is my 'can I write a 90K story that has a beginning, middle and end' book.

It's a spicy/smutty, fast paced darkish romance.
It's meant to be fun. It's absolutely not meant to not be taken seriously... Though it does have some darker elements.

Ruby is a confident FMC who isn't even aware she's looking for love. Mason is an asshole MMC who may have a heart buried somewhere.
He kills, she cleans but they live seperate lives, until they don't.

I figure everyone has to start somewhere - this is my somewhere.
