The first of a trilogy of paranormal romance books with an interesting premise by a new author in the genre. The necromancer heroine is an interesting twist, and the setting once the story moves to New Orleans is evocative.
Looking forward to the second in the series.

Hi all. This is a book I've been dying to read. Finally got the opportunity. Or rather, finally making the opportunity. It's a horror genre with mysteries all over the place and a cast of colorful characters including: necromancer, homicide detective, shapeshifter,firestarter, and a paid assassin. "Serve with murder. . . suspense . . . and a dash of romance on the side."
After reading the first four chapters, it's delivering everything it promised.

This is my favorite in the triology--yes, there's one more in the making--Fire Dance. I like the setting and the characters and mainly because it is a mystery and it kept me reading and wanting more. Great read.
