"From the bestselling author of sapphic romances like Fated To Love You, Your Mom Will Do, and The Ways She Makes Me Sin, comes a scorching-hot, standalone, forbidden student-teacher romance from the world of the Golden Harvest Saga, set in a luxurious European boarding school. Packed with intoxicating age-gap tension, ruthless power struggles, elite wine-making, and irresistible seduction—Sorry Mom, I kissed Your Enemy will leave you breathless and desperate for more."
Rita Her father tried to kill one of my moms, leaving him in jail and my mother partially paralyzed. Now, years later, Karina Thorne saunters back into our lives in tight pencil skirts and lethal stilettos, determined to destroy everything my moms, Katrina and Trisha, built at Golden Harvest Vineyards. She humiliates us with a ruthless takeover offer, her words sharp enough to cut—but the sway of her hips, the fire in her icy gaze, the brilliance behind those cold eyes... God, I hate how much she turns me on.
I vow I won’t let this woman—older, experienced, and dangerously intoxicating—break me. But when she reappears as my headmistress at Château Rose Noir, Europe's most elite wine academy, the stakes rise. The way she scolds me for skirts that ride too high, the possessive tension every time we share a room… it’s driving me wild. Suddenly, this rebellious student can’t help but fall hard for her headmistress—my family's fiercest enemy.
KarinaRita Carmichael is trouble personified—young, impulsive, and mouthy. She's the daughter of the women I blame for ruining my father, and when I step into Golden Harvest Vineyards to claim what's rightfully mine, she's the first one to stand in my way. I came to conquer, not to desire, but her defiant green eyes, scandalously short skirts, and devastatingly sharp wit threaten to unravel every ounce of control I've mastered.
As her headmistress at Château Rose Noir, I try to maintain authority, professionalism, and distance. But she's intoxicating. She admires my winemaking brilliance openly, teases me without mercy, and tempts me beyond reason. She's too young, too forbidden, too Carmichael—and I absolutely can't resist. I'm determined to teach this arrogant young heiress a lesson she'll never forget…even if it means crossing every forbidden line between us.
A scorching, forbidden sapphic enemies-to-lovers romance set against the backdrop of elite winemaking, age-gap passion, and dark family secrets. One taste, and neither woman will ever be the same again.
I am your friendly neighborhood Sapphic romance writer, who has a knack for writing steamy romances, that also work as comfort reads. I know, a conundrum! But once you give my books a shot, you'll know what I mean! I live in London, a few streets away from where Sherlock Holmes used to live, so... if I you find me taking too long to publish my next book, I am probably off with Mr. Holmes on an adventure.
What a wonderful sapphic romance—I'm officially obsessed and already looking for my next read from A. Goswami.
I stumbled across this gem of a book while digging through Amazon for sapphic stories, and honestly, it deserves so much more hype. From the very first page, I was hooked. The drama? Addictive. The writing? Smooth and vivid. I could see the scenes play out like a movie, and I couldn’t put my Kindle down (I’m now on a mission to get a physical copy too).
Karina and Rita had instant chemistry, and I was all in on their story. It was steamy, intense, and filled with so much tension. And the spice scenes? They were 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘧𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴 🤌 I rooted for them through everything and hoping they would get their happy ending they deserved.
Do yourself a favor and please, pick this book up 📚
I think this is the favorite book yet in the Golden Harvest universe!
As much as I loved Katrina and Trisha, I think Rita and Karina’s story is more well-rounded. I feel the depth of their love just as much as the lust they had for each other!
I wanted to like this book, I really did. I had fun reading the golden harvest duology that came before it. But this one was so unbelievably convoluted and contrived that it was impossible to enjoy.
The writing style screamed “I’m trying to fit in with the classics” and all it did was become something that was so overly descriptive I felt like I was reading really bad Shakespeare. The verboseness of the descriptive language felt like the author was aiming for romanticism and instead landed firmly in 13 year old trying too hard for her creative writing class!
I’ve seen other reviews mention that if spice is your thing then that’s this books only redeeming factor and I have to disagree. For a book that was described as spicy, it was more mildly steamy. There was more inner monologue and somewhat threats in the dialogue of what they wanted to do to one another and when the smut scenes actually appeared the first was more a description of an animal attack and the second was a blink and you’ll miss it.
I also have to point out that the way both FMC were described and described one another felt very male gaze centred and that didn’t sit right with me at all.
Overall this book was a headache and there wasn’t even any decent smut to save it. 1⭐️
A romance about Rita, a stubborn young woman, and Karina, an older woman who once hurt Rita’s family. Rita goes to a wine academy in Europe and is shocked to find out Karina is the strict headmistress there.
They start off hating each other because of their past, but over time they can’t ignore their feelings. Even though it’s wrong, Karina is her teacher and much older, and they fall in love.
It’s a story about family drama, secrets, and learning to let go of the past. It’s also funny, emotional, and has a lot of romantic tension.
My favorite part is at the party when things get wild. Rita and another student sneak off somewhere private after the drinks and drugs kick in. Rita totally takes charge, dominating the other girl in a way that’s just wow. But then… Karina sees them. She doesn’t stop them, just watches from the shadows. And when Rita looks up and locks eyes with Karina… whew, the tension is off the charts!

I liked this book until the end when it reminded me it was part of the Golden Harvest series. It’s feels like a book about them adopting Rita and her mom getting attacked should’ve been released before this. Unless I’m completely not remembering those books clearly. This would’ve been GREAT as a standalone with no mention of the previous books. Still a good just wish it carried better for being part of a series.
I really enjoyed this book, but I absolutely cannot fathom why the author thought it was a good idea to name one major character Katrina and another major character Karina. I was so confused the first few chapters.
There’s not much that can be said of this book. The main characters are despicable, one is a sexual predator and the other an traitorous doormat who can only think with her libido. The plot is stupid. Since when sexual assault and sexual harrasment are considered “romance”? Well, I guess there are people for whom that sort of thing is their cup of tea; if you’re one of them you may enjoy this book. The sex scenes are over the top, if that’s the reason for picking up this one, you might as well put on some porn.
The only thing I like about this book is that the sex scenes were hot, but that didn’t take away from the disgust I felt that a headmistress was a sexual predator to a 18 year old. I’m 32 and I’d never date a 18 year old. No matter how mature you think she is she still doesn’t have the life experience that a 28-32 year old has. It’s gross and makes me feel sick. Not to mention I’m pretty sure it’s AI written.
I love everything by this author. It's laugh out loud funny, heartfelt, and relatable. The characters are amazing. Can't wait to read all of her books.
Moms are cringe as hell, romance is soapy as hell. Some stupid shit has been told. MCs had jet lag flying from France to Italy, for real. 😂 I’ve read a book from this author in the past and I didn’t have a good experience. This is the second time that I read a book from her. Some people believe that this books are AI generated. I think I agree with them. The writing is flawless. No mistakes at all. The thing is that it’s so cringey and melodramatic that I can’t take it. I just can’t believe that a human being would write this staff. This is the last time that I pick a book from this “author”. Im banning her for good. The covers are a real trap. They are so beautiful so sometimes I think “okay this one will be good, look at that cover, rating is 4 stars, what the hell” And then BOOM, 1-2 stars book tops I need to learn my lesson.
I was too stunned to speak
