I didn't really like Caitlin. She was so rash and something so small could spark her rage. The fact that vampires had wings in this book annoyed me. In the first two books, I was reminded of Fallen. I was annoyed at how Caitlin immediately felt that Caleb was hers when she had only known him for a couple of hours.

Morgan Rice is is a good writer because the way she writes draws the reader in to the story meaning that it was a real page turner and hard to put down. This volume contains the first three books in the Vampire Journals series which follows the main character Catlyn through discovering she's a half-blood vampire to finding the lost sword to loosing her true love Caleb and going through a magic

Enjoyable with a unique, creative story of vampires. Some side stories were interesting but others were extremely lame. Part of it appeared to be a remake of National Treasure. Could use a good proofreading

BRILLIANT!!

i loved the story about Caitlin, Cabel their daughter Scarlet and of their friends they meet on the way, couldn't put the books down until i had finished the whole series, now that i have, i am looking more of the story line to read!!
