About the author

Amos Paran has a BA in English Literature and Linguistics from Bar-Ilan University, Israel and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading, where he completed a PhD on Ll and L2 reading processes. He has taught EFL and methodology in Israel and the UK, and written materials for Israel and Greece. Other professional interests include literature in the language classroom and the use of the media in ELT.
