Toxic Revenge Part Two

Rate this book
I thought I was getting my revenge…
But instead, he got his.

Now I’m stuck with him, just when I’d decided I wanted to take a risk on my pack of biker alphas.

Alone and devastated, I can’t see a way out—and I know it was all my fault. The lies and secrets were never necessary, and they ended up being my downfall.

Can my pack forgive me for what I’ve allowed to happen? Will my fathers kill everyone involved before I have the chance to explain? What did Benjamin really want from me when he first met me?

With a million questions and no answers, I have to make a choice.

Fight for myself and the pack I’m desperate to have by my side, or prove that a scorned omega is more weak than dangerous after all.

Toxic Revenge Part Two is the conclusion to a why choose omegaverse duet, starting in Toxic Revenge Part One. It will wrap up with a HEA ending, no matter how bleak it may look along the way.

Toxic Revenge

This was an ok read. I liked it but I didn’t love it. I’m not the biggest fan of a duet when the second book is only necessary for what seems to me like drawn out emotional stuff. It felt like a lot of filler and a plot that could really have been wrapped up in 200 less pages.

Picked up from where the first book left off. Really enjoyed the development of the side characters, but this sequel kinda fell flat. So many chapters dragged on with no point. I wish there was more involvement with the lead and her ex at the beginning. Missed opportunity to add more action.

Read if you like: reverse harem, mafia/motorcycle romance, forced bonds, ex drama, caretaking

The book gets into right where book 1 was left off and I was immediately pissed lmao if Talia didn’t bond him in the first place and just had the balls to cut him off we wouldn’t be in this situation but nooo HERE WE ARE 🤬
Why would she try go out when she knew that Benjamin had someone in the inside and he knew where she was at all times like COME ON!! I cant handle dumb fmcs I wanted to dnf the book so bad because she has pissed me off the entire 2 books. Where is the character growth??

I don’t understand why they didn’t use Talia’s fathers more, I kept hearing about how they were this feared mafia family but they didn’t use their resources? How are they such a badass family but created such a doormat daughter 😭

I wish the relationship with West was more developed, we didn’t hear about his family and he stayed pretty insecure and detached until right at the end. It’s the weakest relationship in the pack and they wouldn’t last at all if it wasn’t for the bonding, they could’ve done without him.

I hope the next book is about Lavinia because I didn’t like her much in the first book but in book 2 she won me over!

This story and dialogue was good. My biggest problem was the stupid fmc. I’m still going to read books from this author because I enjoy the writing, just hoping for a stronger fmc with an actual brain next time

Thank you Olivia Lewin for this ARC

Talia has finally chosen to be with her bikers. But her revenge against Benjamin comes back to haunt her as he tracks her down and completes the bond. Now bound to each other Talia has to find out his true motives, all the while trying to keep her chosen pack at her side. And when her family gets involved the inevitable showdown is going to be nothing short of explosive.

I am happy how this story ended for Talia. Benjamin definitely turned out to be way more of a snake than I thought and he deserved more than what he got in the end. I’m glad we got to see more of the guys' backstories, and the character development with that. The only thing I was kinda disappointed in was the way that Talia’s fathers were barely used. Like the sisters were sneaking around doing stuff behind their backs, but this was a serious situation where dangerous mafia men could have come in handy. That being said, I would like to see more of this world, there were so many characters that could definitely have their own stories.

🌟 2.5

I got bored so quickly. Gave up around the time this Biker Gang and these Mafia Princesses decided the height of their intellectual and criminal capability came down to her waltzing straight into a party and 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰 to let in one of her men. Wow. Don’t strain yourself now. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I expected more from the heirs to an underworld empire and three men from a 1% biker gang. Come on!

Second thing is, all men in this book hold a title I’m not sure they’ve earned. This woman has 4 really scary mafia dads. Where is the mafia-ing? These “hot bikers” are part of the 1%ers, and yet they’ve done nothing for a book and a half except be incompetent criminals.

I also have to say this: this whole scenario could have been avoided if she had just told her family what Jerky McJerkface did when he slept around on her in the beginning. The whole thing. Sis! Bring the family in! Sic your parents on him! Then you can sit back pretty, knowing they have your back and you have your men.

They got together too quickly.

Everyone’s hangups ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ɴᴏ ꜱᴇɴꜱᴇ. Get over yourself and carry on living.

Glad this series finished with a sweet and deserved HEA. It wasn’t my favorite omegaverse ever. But it was a solid 3.5. I rounded up to 4.

This picks up right where book 1 left off. Talia is going into heat and has been bonded against her will to Benjamin.
West, Mercer, and Conrad do everything they can to comfort, heal, and reassure her that is changes nothing for them.

The healing and growing of relationships wasn’t as in depth as I would have liked. There are many relationships to navigate. And we definitely got the spicy parts down. But the emotional connections just fell a little flat for me.

The plot line was fairly typical Mafia romance, jaded group who wants to take over. Taking advantage of the people to get their own power. But it was done is a good way. With a little bit of a shocking turn towards the end.

It was a solid read. And definitely wrapped the story up nicely.

4.5/5

i was so excited for this book cause i’ve been in love with west, conrad and mercer for months now 😃

after the cliffie in book 1, book 2 starts with a great pace — we get answers for what happens with talia, how the guys managed after that mess at the hospital and more time showing the mafia fam as well as talia’s sisters.

i like how infatuated from the start the guys were with talia! and this book is full of swoon worthy loving moments, as well as some pretty fun banter moments.

and tbh this was a great book to introduce us better to the rest of the alfieri omegas (as well as new side characters) and i’m so excited to read their stories

my only point is i would’ve liked to see more of west — he’s soooo multifaceted and i guess i would’ve liked more time with him and talia to see it.

Really enjoyed the conclusion to Talia's story. Felt the pacing to the story was good, all questions were answered plot wise, we had further relationship development between Talia and her men and we still got twists and turns in the story. I ended up devouring this in one sitting and was happy with how it ended.

Mercer, West and Conrad got more fleshed out in this story as we found out more information of their past and more of their personality came out. Conrad definitely lived up to his roadname with his luck! West finally got more open with his feelings and thoughts when Talia forced him to take that step which was great to see. Mercer was protective and supportive as ever and was open with Talia about his dad and the club aftermath in how it affected him.

Can recommend this duet if you were waiting for it to be completed!

Toxic Revenge Part Two was a full-blown emotional rollercoaster—and I loved every second of it. The tension, the twists, the raw intensity… this book did not let up.

I’ve never read an omegaverse story built around a second-chance scent match, and it brought such a fresh, unexpected layer to the story. Olivia Lewin took a bold concept and made it work beautifully.

It’s dark, it’s messy, and it’s exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

Nice continuation

Part two of Talia's story is here. And what a ride it turned out to be.

Toxic Revenge is an RH omegaverse with feuding mafia families, hardcore bikers, and resilient omegas. Part two comes in after Talia has been forcefully bitten and bonded by her unwanted scent match, and left behind. This story is all about what comes next and how Talia and her chosen alphas will handle the fallout.

The tough times are softened by her family and her sweet alphas. And it's not just Talia's trauma that needs to be handled. There is a lot of healing to be done, and the pack has to still figure out what to do with Benjamin and his claim on Talia.

Tons of actions, growly alphas, and danger will keep readers entertained.

I’ve been dying to get my hands on part two and it did not disappoint. I mean, you can’t ask for more than an omegaverse with a motorcycle club and the mafia, can you? I am not sure if there is a worse villain than Benjamin. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say he does not get what he deserves at all! This was such a journey and I loved every second. Talia is put through the wringer again and again. I love the determination of the guys to protect her, but Benjamin found a way to make her suffer repeatedly. I love a book that drags you through the mud and this book definitely does that in the best way! You have to read this! It’s so good! I wish I could say more but I don’t want to spoil a single second.

Solid conclusion

This was a solid finale to an interesting duet. So many twists and turns.

Given the cliffhanger of the last book, there's darkness and recovery though not nearly as dark as other books in the Poisonverse imo. The ex‐match was already an ass so not exactly betrayal (can't betray without trust) but definitely more deception and drama brought to light.

I'm very curious and eager to read more books with these Mafia heiress. There were hints of future packs/pairs which is super exciting. I just really hope Gears and Hawke get into one of those packs! All in all, I recommend this duet and am looking forward to more :)

passionate mates who fight until the end….

This is the second part of a finished duet and part one must be read first for this to make sense.

Well this follows on from the huge cliffhanger at the end of part one.

Talia’s chosen Alphas are tested throughout this book to fight for her and they do at every obstacle. As Benjamin continues to create problems for Talia right to the end there is a lot to overcome. Her mates are passionate, the spice is anything but vanilla and leaves you hot under the collar.

A really good book with plenty of plot and a hea.

Really good read overall but a few bits felt a little rushed so a solid 4.5 stars rather than 5.

We pick up where we left off in book 1. But this time talia is found by Benjamin and he completes the bond the two of them share.

I felt the book was a bit flat, and i needed more. I got abit bored by the end of it.

I'm Glad she got her Alphas in the end, they deserve each other after everything she went through.

Nothing ever happened with graves? And the hit that was out on Conrad, Mercer or West? It was never mentioned what happened or if Graves got his ending he deserved. Or that of the feral bullets. So many questions and none were answered.

It was ok, but it had so much more potential.

After reading the first book I was excited to dive into the second. While this book was good and I’m happy to have had the opportunity to complete the duet, I did not like it as much as the first. I can’t quite explain why but I found it difficult to remain engaged. Overall, I enjoy this author’s work and look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Bitten. Talia's nightmare is now a reality. She is fully mated to Benjamin. What will her pack think? Will they forgive her? What will her fathers do? Will they go on a killing spree? What will she do with the darkness now in her center? So many questions with no real answers, only "what ifs". All Talia knows for certain is that she needs her pack and her family more than ever. She's not ready to give up.

I loved book one and couldn't wait for this second book. I liked this second book, but did feel it dropped off some. I'm not sure what was missing, but I wasn't as engaged; always a risk with a duet. There were points in the story that dragged and parts that were frustrating. Yes, Talia got herself in the situation, but it still wasn't the wake-up call I wanted. She comes from a powerful mafia family. Why didn't she use them? She and her sisters snuck around, only calling in the fathers at the last moment when they were in trouble. When you have powerful people, don't hesitate to use them! Talia's pack relationships also didn't develop as much as I hoped. The emotional connections lacked depth, especially West. Overall, they were flatter than I expected. The story worked best when the focus stayed on the sister connections, including Violet. Not what I was expecting or all I was hoping for.

What an emotional conclusion! I love Olivia's stories, and get lost in her words. I definitely would have liked to see more of West, but overall great duet. I loved the side characters and hope to read those stories. I received an advanced copy from the author, and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

So happy to have gotten to read this as an ARC . The wait for the complete series was worth it! You definitely need to read the prior book to understand what is happening in the story. Alpha and Omega dynamics, RH, AOAA, MFMM. Preexisting pack.

I am still annoyed that she kept skipping over her dads that could literally fix everything and try to handle it on her own. But part of me understands why the other part just kept side eyeing her. Overall a good read. I enjoy her writing style so I’ll definitely have to check out more.

I couldn't wait to read how Talia's love story was wrapped up!! I love the connection between Talia and her guys. And getting to know Violet was a plus! The only thing I wanted more of was the epilogue.

A great conclusion to Tailia's story. A spicy, exciting read with great characters. West, Conrad and Mercer were so protective. Full of emotion, plot twists and suspense, I really enjoyed this. I'd love to read more books about the sisters and Violet.
